Liari awoke that morning to a sudden SURGE of energy coursing through her, the little blue girl SNAPPING awake in fright as she felt her power SOAR! While still only a fraction of what it once was, the little blue girl, over the course of mere seconds felt her power DOUBLE and grow further still, her aura SURGING out of control all around her as Liari... stood there and watched! She stared down at her palms, flexing them as her energy blazed ferociously about her, a small piece of her power unleashed itself as if it were a door whose lock had finally worn through! She had never figured out WHY her power had left her after her time in the ball, how it was bled from her like a stuck earth-mammal. She... just assumed that it was just something that came with the spell, a contingency in case she got out early or something...

...But what if her power wasn't gone at all...? What if it was sealed away as well...?

"...Heh...Heheheheh..." Liari laughed softly, her aura leveling out, flaring brightly but controlled as The Majin flexed her arm. This power didn't feel new, like she had burst her limits... It didn't feel like she had broken through a wall or surpassed her limitations like those monkey-sayains liked to do! No, this was something old, something that she had been born with... It was like piecing together a smashed puzzle and having FINALLY found one of those desperately needed corner pieces!

She was coming back together...

"HEHEHEHEH! STUPID!" She laughed sharply, her voice reverberating off the inside of the cave she stood within, amplifying it further like a megaphone! "YOU MAGIC NOT WORK! I GETTING MY POWERS BACK!" Her grin grew sharp... as did her mind, Liari becoming... aware of what she was capable of now on this planet. It was only a little boost in the grand scheme of things but, even so, in this one day of rest she had surpassed a great many fighters on this planet! Heck, she could probably even fight that pink-guy now! Compared to her weakness before, she felt invincible!

"HAAAAAHAHAHA!"

Liari's aura SURGED with her boisterous laughter, lightly quaking the cave walls with its intensity! She was closer to real freedom, to being able to do what she wanted no matter what! This planet was FULL of people who were NOTHING to her TRUE power and already she was getting it back! It was only a matter of time... a matter of time before she could control her own destiny!

"Heh~..." She sighed, allowing her energy to come to a rest. She would walk out from under the mouth of the cave, smirking proudly as she stared up into the grey, snow-falling sky above. She HOPED someone felt that, that surge of power... She was CRAVING to find out what she could do with it now that she had it! She had a NEED to fight someone... ANYONE!

The preparation for Tiamat's departure was coming to an end. Slowly but surely, she had done everything that needed to be done on Earth, and the time to go to Namek for more information on her lead she got in the lookout was getting dangerously close. As a matter of fact, she prepared to leave probably tomorrow, but there was one thing left to do before leaving, and it was contacting everyone she thought might be following her and bringing them together. Although she did not exactly need an escort, she did promise some people that they would see other planets in the universe, and she would hold to that promise.

But that would have to wait until tomorrow. For now, Tiamat had a stronger obligation to someone, and she did promise her that she would be around, so more time was needed to take care of this particular case. Liari, the blue majin that Tiamat found and somewhat adopted. The Shinjin knew her to be volatile, prone to strong reactions, and couldn't really understand the bigger picture of Tiamat's life, but she would offer her to follow, and at least try to explain why she needed to go, in the worst-case scenario.

First disappointment, she went to the small housing she had made for them a little south of Mount Frappe, where they met and found nothing. Well, that was not really a surprise, as Liari was hardly the kind of person one could hold down for a long time. Tiamat reached out to the planet with her ki-sensing, trying to find that one signature. It wasn't too hard, however, as in Mount Frappe, a soaring 'Liari' power seemed to almost be inviting people to join her... she had almost doubled in strength, that was insane to think about.

Without wasting any more time, Tiamat would soar there through the sky and arrived at the scene as the blue majin was calming down, or at least it seemed so, but there was still something about her pose... she was waiting for something, and for once, it was probably not specifically Tiamat's return.

'' What happened to you Liari? You've got a heck of a lot stronger since last time! Impressive to say the least. ''

The Shinjin said as she landed near the majin girl and went for a hug, something she had grown to recognize Liari was quite fond of, and she loved these moments too.

'' Needed to blow off some steam maybe? I'm not the fighting kind myself, but I can certainly help with that if you want me to. What do you say?''

Liari's eyes would widen in surprise as Tiamat would be the one to answer her "signal," though her expression would quickly turn jubilant as her precious parental figure would move in with arms outstretched, ready to receive the little blue girl! Well, she wouldn't DARE keep her most favoritest person waiting! Dashing towards the freshly-landed Kai, Liari would throw her arms around Tiamat's neck, snuggling her close! It had been a long-enough time with them apart, a long LONG enough time! In fact, she didn't think there was a single person on Earth she could think of she'd rather have had answer her power-surge!

"Tiamaaaaaaaaat~!" Liari cried, pulling back just a bit to tenderly press her deep-blue forehead against the kai's! "I miss you lots! Really, really do!" The pink-skinned goddess would remark on Liari's massive and sudden JUMP in power, the little blue girl giggling softly at her surprise! "Heehee! Yup! I really strong now! Getting my power back piece-at-a-time! Gonna be REALLY strong soon! You see! Then I go where you go always!"

Her smile would grow, her eyes, soft and warm. There was nobody in the universe Liari would happily follow except for this woman. She who gave The Majin her first hug and kiss, she who willingly and often returned to the Majin's side out of no obligation beyond their relationship, she who greeted her with a kind word and a smile every time they met... Liari still hadn't gotten used to that kind of intimacy yet... She didn't know if she'd ever take that kind of kindness for granted...

Well, good... She never wanted these warm-fuzzies to go away!

Tiamat would question if Liari was aiming to blow off steam and if, in fact, she would want to spar a bit with her! The Majin's eyes would widen, that shocked expression returning! She... didn't think she'd ever actually thrown a punch in Tiamat's direction since they met, let alone straight-up sparred with her! She had NO idea how strong the goddess actually was, really, lacking the dexterity to actually sense energy. Liari would then grin again, lightly tapping her forehead against her mother-figure's before pulling out of their hug, jumping back a good few meters before raising her hands defensively!

"Like idea!" She exclaimed excitedly! "I show you what I do! We have fun and stuff!"

She would give the kai a moment of preparation, to ready herself and dip into the right frame of mind. She wasn't a fighter, by her own admission, so she might have to work herself up into it! That was fine! After all, Laezi claimed she wasn't a fighter either... at least until she took one-too-many punches to the cheek! That usually got her going!

"Ready?" The Majin would ask after a moment's pause! "'Cause I aaaaaaaam~!" AND like that, Liari would SPRING at Tiamat, fist cocked back and ready for throwing! The moment she got within arm's range, Liari would throw a straight punch right at the Kai's cheek before quickly following up with a rising knee shooting up towards her chest! A pair of powerful, if predictable blows, a nice little warm-up for the fight ahead!

The warm welcome Tiamat got from Liari was one that she could get used to, or rather, one that she wished would stay the way it was. Hugs were always nice, of course, but there was something special with someone just that much eager to see you, a little extra that did make this a unique feeling. Of course, she would hug the little blueberry back with all of her might, well, all the appropriate might since she could probably squish her bubblegum-like self quite a bit if she really did mean it. Then, the explanation of Liari's sudden power-up was given, and Tiamat was surprised.

'' Well, that's quite the news Liari! Maybe that fresh earthling air is getting you back into shape! I bet you'll be right back to the top in no time! Also, I do have something to tell you about that whole 'Following' me thing, so you can look forward to that after our spar!''

She said as the two of them got into position, the Majin having clearly stated her interest in fighting Tiamat. The Shinjin had not gotten a true fight since she got on Earth, and it was about time she dusted off some of her fighting techniques and test them on someone who can actually fight back.

Tiamat's own stance reflected her fighting style. Since she was a magic user, she levitated a little off the ground, magical energy was visibly surrounding her body, strengthening her physical capacity and she was ready to conjure spells.

When Liari rushed her, she would try to stop the charge with a few blasts at a distance, but without a warm-up, her aim was off and could not exactly hit the majin, allowing her to close in on her and land her first punch right on target. The following knee to her chest took her breath away, but at that moment, Tiamat found an opening to escape with a swift dash upward, catching her breath and preparing something to keep the Majin busy.

A few magic circles appeared above Tiamat as she incanted in an unknown language, or maybe Liari had heard the old language of the Kais before. Then, after a surge in her energy, the circles began to shoot simple fireballs at Liari in rapid succession.

'' Hinotama!''

She shouted at her magic began to rain down on Liari, hopefully she had something against that sort of attack.

Using Hinotama For 7,000(20%) damage coming for Liari!

Liari's bee-line rushdown of the kai would prove to be a bit too much for Tiamat to handle so soon, her counter-attack blast-volley striking just about everywhere BUT The Majin with it's holy-wrath before she was too close to shoot! Perhaps it was Liari's sudden jump in power that threw off her aim or... maybe Tiamat really meant what she said about not being a warrior... Either way, Liari would get close enough to NAIL the kai in the jaw and then SLAM her in her chest with a knee-strike!

BOY, THAT FELT...

Liari paused, blinking, a hand touching her own chest as Tiamat took this moment to spring away. ...It didn't feel good... Usually, Liari got this RUSH of success hitting people! It was like shooting a target in the bullseye or getting the horseshoe around the stick! It felt GOOD hitting the other person because they were DIFFICULT to hit! The Majin frowned, her lips pursed... All she felt from those hits was... pain...?

It HURT to hit Tiamat?

Liari didn't feel like she took a hit herself, granted, but as each one of those hits connected, Liari felt a sharpness in her heart, a... reluctance to do it again. Her brow furrowed and her jaw clenched... She tried to get into the vibe of things, to ENJOY this fight like she USUALLY ENJOYED THEM ...but... she was almost FIGHTING HERSELF TOO in order to get herself moving again!

It was just... so... HARD!

WHY!? SHE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH PUNCHING ANYONE BEFORE!

Exploiting this moment of internal division knowingly or unknowingly, Tiamat would hover ominously above The Majin, several summoning circles having manifested around her like the barrels of massive cannons. Liari would SNAP too, feeling the presence of magic in the air, her eyes snapping up to spot her bestest friend preparing her attack!

"H-Huh...!?" Liari gasped, taking a step back in shock! Even though she couldn't feel energy, she could feel THAT, the tearing (or at least 'warping') of dimensions to summon these portals! It was like opening a BIG window on a windy day, magical energies SURGING into their world like an gale-wind! She had no IDEA Tiamat was this... handy with magic! Even Liari could barely handle basic transmutation but THIS...

This was on a whole-other level!

Saying some gibberish word, Tiamat would unleash a firestorm upon the little blue girl, Liari instantly knowing she couldn't PLAY AROUND ANYMORE! Letting out sharp roar, Liari's aura would SPIKE hugely, growing into a blazing inferno around her as her power quadrupled in a matter of seconds! Cupping her hands up towards the oncoming blast, Liari would grit her teeth, her silver eyes flashing RED as she grew serious!

"KA... ME... HA... ME...."

The fireballs known as "Hinotama" would encroach on Liari, the little blue girl feeling the ghost of their blazing heat upon her deep-blue skin as they approached!

"HAAAAA!"

Suddenly, she would unleash a MASSIVE energy-beam, its pink-red energy OVERTAKING the barrage of fireballs in an all-consuming wave, ROCKETING UP at Tiamat! It was instinct, that maneuver, an unconscious effort to avoid being blasted to BITS again but...

"Tiamat...?"

Liari froze, realizing what she just did. Her heart THROBBED in her chest as she STARED up at the sky with fearful eyes, her arms dropping down limply by her sides!

"T-Tiamat...?"

Where was she...? SHE COULDN'T SEE! Was she okay!? WAS SHE!?

Well, now for a surprise, that had to be even greater than the one that came right before! As Tiamat fully believed she had gotten some kind of advantage over Liari, managing to cast a light spell towards her, the power of the Majin broke limits once again and soared right past Tiamat's own base form, which shocked the Shinjin. Now was too late to go back, her attack was already sent, which mean... yeah, she would be on the defensive real fast! It did not miss either, as she heard the blue majin start her own incantation, a technique that would undoubtedly overcome Hinotama and go straight for Tiamat after it dealt with her fireballs.

She could not exactly release her full power either, since then she would be completely out of Liari's league, and a fight like this would have no reason to be. She would just have to fight at a disadvantage, that wasn't too bad after all, defense was her best attribute after all!

When the purple wave of energy came for her, Tiamat smirked. Yeah, she knew a thing or two about techniques like this, but she was certainly not about to get hit on Liari's first try now, was she? With a quick golden shine, she was away from danger, this teleportation ability was quite the ace for Tiamat after all.

With this moment of peace, Tiamat would make sure to maintain Hinotama's power for a while, keeping a bullet in the chamber as it was when she heard Liari's cry for her name, the Shinjin would clear her throat, and the noise would come from behind the Majin.

'' Liari, you can't go around and worry about me in a spar! Although, chapeau girl, you managed to surprise me with that sudden power up! I was NOT expecting that, for sure. But you're not the only one with tricks up her sleeves!''

With a swift movement, Tiamat would conjure a staff, which she would then use to attempt a few swipes at Liari. She was not exactly proficient yet with the weapon, but she knew some basis, and she was certainly not gonna get any better if she never tried to use it in combat now, would she.

If she managed to swipe Liari's legs, she would then stomp the staff on the ground and use it as a balance point to kick Liari in the chest, some move she had seen in some action movie years ago, maybe it worked in real life as well?

Using Kai Kai to produce a free 50% evasion technique to avoid the remaining damage from Kamehameha

Using yet another Hinotama, this time however, using Tactician to give it the 'Stasis' variant. Not fired yet. (7,000 Power gathering in the magic circles above)

The Majin FROZE, her body shooting STRAIGHT with fear as Tiamat's voice manifested behind her! She would whirl around quickly, spotting the Kai as carefree as one could be, not a scratch on her as she filled Liari in on the situation! Apparently, she didn't need to worry at ALL about her friend in this fight as she had a few tricks of her own! "Worried...?" Liari tilted her head, thinking about the word... She heard of it before but... usually it was used in jest like how Tiamat was speaking it now!

'Don't worry!'

'Worry not!'

'No need to worry!'

...Was this tight clenching in her stomach, this cold clamminess upon her skin... this tightness of her muscles... "worry?" Huh... She didn't like this feeling very much...

"Okay..." She muttered, the feeling still GRIPPING at her regardless of her promise! WELL, getting back to the fight, Tiamat would manifest a staff seemingly out of nowhere, as if the air itself had become wood in Tiamat's hands to form a basic, yet formidable weapon!

"OH!" The Majin gasped, clapping her hand eagerly with approval! "OH! OH! I LIKE! I LIKE! I DO THAT TOO!" Stomping her foot, a large rock would SHOOT up in front of The Majin, Liari reaching out to grab it, it would quickly MORPH into a metal club! It had the shape of what humans might call a "cricket-bat" or "Paddle", with a flat face being broader at the center, coming together at either end at a sharp edge! Liari would twirl the paddle-club in her hands with a casual dexterity before SWINGING it behind herself with an eager-little grin upon her face!

It was weapon-fight time!

Tiamat's first initial swipes with her staff were quickly and HARSHLY batted away by Liari's club, hoping to SHATTER the kai's weapon as a show of strength... a futile one, but still. Tiamat's limited and still superior weapon's knowledge would prove to give her the edge their initial trade of blows, a quick SWIPE at the Majin's legs tripping her up, followed by quick and fancy staff-propelled KICK to Liari's chest sending her flying back end-over-end!

"WAAAH!" She cried before EXTENDING her arms and legs out to either side, her body expanding like a kite to catch the wind and slow her propulsion and flipping, Liari coming to a stop a good couple meters away... upside down! Huffing slightly, she would flip herself upright before returning to her natural shape, looking at her weapon... and grin.

"YAH!" She cried, THROWING her club like a frisbee at Tiamat! Should she move out of the way, Liari would EXTEND an arm out after it, GRABBING its handle WELL past Tiamat... but instead of retracting it back, LIARI would shoot forwards! Extending her other arm to the side, she would aim to ROCKET at the pretty-pink-pugilist and CLOTHESLINE HER at dashing-speed!

Her words, while just intended as jesting a bit with Liari and motivating her to stop worrying and fight back with more determination, seemed to have triggered something more in the Majin. Tiamat would have to catch on to those hints and keep them in mind if she wanted to really understand what kind of person Liari is, was, and could be. Of course, understanding other's emotions was kind of her thing, it always was, so she figured it was probably something her sister used to say a lot, and that it kind of pushed the blueberry into a 'serious fight' mode. If she did not have her full power to ball back on, Tiamat would be worried.

The came the clash of weapons, a funny little trade-off where the power behind Liari's club seemed to be the only thing she could bring to the table with it. The trade went Tiamat's way, even if she could feel that her magical creation was put to rough testing. Her kick connected, sending the Majin flying... and well... stretching in some bizarre way, but really effective when she saw the full movement Liari was going for. She was quite a natural when it came to fighting, or maybe she had been training for a really long time before that.

'' Nice move Liari! Keep it going, impress me!''

And impress her she did! While at first Tiamat was quite confident in her move when she dodged the club she was thrown, she did not expect Liari to go grab it with her streched arm. Of course, then the Shinjin expected her to bring it back, so she manoeuvre to dodge it, but it backfired when the Majinn jumped foward to join her weapon! She was hit by the clothesline and flipped a few time before finding a 'footing' again in mid-air, obviously shaken by the experience.

To not be completely open, Tiamat used her Hinotama in stasis, sending it Liari's way while she tried to recover from what happened. The magic circles she left earlier re-activating and sending another volley of fireballs towards the Majin at high speed. Hopefully, that would keep the Majin busy for a short time, enough to prepare something big! Magic has this tendency of taking a lot of time to prepare, but Tiamat is an expert, highly skillfull in quick magic, so when she took time to cast one, she made sure it mattered.

Liari's clothesline would NAIL Tiamat across the chest cleanly, the little blue Majin flying past to where she gripped her paddle-weapon, flipping in the air so that she faced her friend! She managed to in time to catch the kai's last few uncontrolled rolls, the little blue girl smiling faintly as the two conflicting emotions of guilt... and amusement swelled in her chest! She would have LAUGHED had it been anyone else, to see someone whirling about wildly in the air like that...

IT WAS SO HARD TO HAVE FUN WHEN YOU WERE BEATING UP SOMEONE YOU LIKED! IT WAS SO WEIRD!

Blah. Why did life have to be so stupid and complicated sometimes... Why couldn't she punch Tiamat and have fun like normal... It was like she was hitting the "self-hate" button every time she connected with the kai! She KNEW she wasn't really hurting her... like, badly... She KNEW that this was all in good fun and in the hopes of getting Liari EVEN stronger! It wasn't like she was doing anything WRONG, right? Heck, she didn't even feel this bad when she punched Laezi in the face and she knew her longer than ANYONE!

...So why did it HURT this much to hit Tiamat!?

The Kai wouldn't take long to recover, completing her last uncontrolled flip turning to face Liari as she unleashed her next volley of fireballs! Liari gritted her teeth and stared into the sky as the summoning-circles re-opened again, sending forth a new barrage of meteor-like orbs of flame, determined to blast The Majin into dust... or at least submission!

...Liari really didn't know which would be worse!

"I GOT NEW TRICK!" She announced, pushing her displeasure to one side! RAISING her leg up, she would STOMP the ground rapidly! Harder and harder, faster and faster, thumping her one foot like a rabbit, her leg would almost become a blur as the fireballs closed in from all directions! Suddenly, her foot would go THROUGH the ground coming up and intercepting a fireball, disbursing it before shooting back down and striking another! It was as if a thousand of Liari's leg suddenly shot UP from the ground, after-images striking each fireball as they closed in, a forest of Liari's legs SHOOTING up from the ground around herself... and Tiamat! Sweat began to build on the Majin's forehead with how fast and strong these Trick-Kicks were, targeting both the fireballs to counter them AND the caster herself! Glancing slightly too the side, not wanting to... look in the Kai's eyes when her boot would eventually nail her, Liari would continue her assault until the last fireball was gone!

Finally, she would withdraw her foot fully from the ground for the last time, limping slightly upon it... as the sole of her shoe had been completely burnt away! This fight was doing a lot for Tiamat in terms of understanding how exactly Liari was thinking. It was fairly easy to notice that she was not exactly at the same level of amusement as when Tiamat proposed that they sparred, and as such, the Shinjin figured out that she might have been attached to her in a way that's greater than she initially thought. This little fight would have to go on, and while it did, the Shinjin would have a better idea of what was going on in her head. Of course, she could always try to peek into her mind with Empathy Expanded, but it felt like cheating at the moment. Besides, it was not exactly something she could use while fighting.

The announcement from Liari that she had a new trick was... surprising to say the least. Of course, she had new tricks, Tiamat had barely seen her do one technique, the contrary would have been quite disappointing. Although if she was honest with herself, she would admit that in all the possibilities she imagined, this one was much weirder. At first, she thought something along the lines of she was going shoot towards her at extreme speed, but when she saw her feet coming out of the ground and laying kicks everywhere, the Shinjin was impressed at how... stretchy and strong her limbs could be in an opposite direction!

But right now, she had to fight against it! A wave of energy would weep through the Shinjin, her signature jumping to a height she had never worked with, even if temporary. She extended both her arms right and left, as if to let the kicks reach her, but at the last moment, and while she was chanting in the old Kai language, a barrier of red energy would appear. This was amongst her strongest techniques.

'' Mirror Force!''

She would shout out against Liari as her kicks would clash against the strong barrier, which held its form and seemed to 'absorb' some energy each time it was struck.

A fleeting moment came after the waves of kick, as Tiamat slowly moved her arms from her sides to her front, the barrier creating a ball of blue energy as it slowly uncovered her.

'' Think fast Liari!''

She shouted as the blue ball finally completed, the red barrier nowhere to be seen anymore, before it shot a powerful beam of blue energy towards the Majin. The remaining power of the barrier improved with Tiamat's residual energy, and in this state, it was strong enough to cause some serious damage.

Liari's kicks might've been able to make short work of the fire-balls, shooting right through them as if they weren't a god's magical constructs, but when it came to striking god herself, though, that would prove to be the Majin's greatest sin yet! The MOMENT her foot encroached on Tiamat's face, a big red barrier would SPRING UP around her, Tiamat's aura suddenly surging to a level so HIGH... The Majin could almost taste it in the air! Heck, she could almost feel it in her rubbery-bones! ...Was she learning how to sense energy just by being in the presence of powers FAR MORE VAST than her own!?

...Maybe. How would she know?

What Liari WOULD know, though, was what Divine-Wrath would feel like. Her foot would suddenly retract upon connecting with the barrier, SNAPPING back into its natural length so fast, the little blue girl lost her balance, arms flailing wildly to either side before falling hard on her rear! She'd wince, letting out a low groan of displeasure... only to look up and see a massive blue beam of light BLASTING her way! Her eyes widened, her jaw dropped, The Majin frozen where she stood as an attack FAR GREATER THAN ANYTHING SHE COULD PRODUCE blasted over her like an ocean wave of gnawing water! Her wails of pain and anguish were drowned out by the blistering hisses of the surrounding energy!

...By the time it had passed, either obliterating the space BEHIND Liari in a radiant explosion or flying off into the sky harmlessly, the only thing that REMAINED of The Majin... was her lower body. Indeed, her entire upper half had been reduced to LESS than nothing, Liari's legs left sitting there in the dirt... Tiamat had just KILLED her friend!

....

Or maybe not...

Suddenly, the scorched wound would begin to pulsate and bubble, mass growing around it and elongating and stretching upwards before fine-tuning its shape to resemble more like the upper-body of a girl! Sockets would shape, a mouth would form, fingers, clothes before....

*POP!*

"BAAAAH!" Liari would scream, her upper body having completely reconstituted itself! The little blue girl would then... fall back hard on her back, huffing and puffing heavily, an arm draped across her chest, clutching at it... as if something were wrong with what lay within! In truth... her whole BODY hurt... Growing back or reattaching a limb was one thing but half her BODY!? That was SO much harder! Tiamat should KNOW! EVERYONE should know this!

"Stoooooooooooop..." She whined to nobody in particular, her hands shooting up to cradle her poor, aching head! "It huuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrt.... Stopstopstoooooop....."

Any chance at Tiamat ever being proud of what she had done would be crushed in an instant when the dust cleared and she saw the lower body of Liari... kind of exactly where she had left them, only now it was missing the whole most important part of what constitutes most humanoids, everything from the waist and up. The Shinjin would have gone into panic if she did not know of Majins and their funny attributes, notably that they could regenerate from almost everything, and fairly easily at that. Unlike Nameks, who couldn't regenerate their heads, for example, Majin could come back from mosts kinds of damage.

But that had to hurt right? The information on that was not exactly clear, so Tiamat would approach the 'remains' as it started to reform into the Liari she knew. It was hard to gauge the power she needed to use, especially since she had used a barrier prior to what happened, but she figured the Majin would be pretty shaken by the whole thing. She waited for a moment until she heard the screaming.

Not knowing exactly how to react to that sort of thing, the Shinjin kind of looked for a moment at Liari while she contorted herself in pain and what seemed to be sorrow. The metaphorical wheels in her head turning real fast to find a solution to that problem. Finally, her body went into action and she went to take Liari into her arms delicately.

'' I'm sorry Liari, I went too hard on the last one. I'm really sorry, we don't have to keep going. Just... just wait a little bit, then I'll be able to make it all better. ''

Tiamat had emptied her energy in that last defense move, so she needed to wait a bit to heal up Liari's wounds. She really needed to have a better control of her techniques, but she did not exactly know where to start.

Maybe it was because all Liari could sense around her was pain and the color red or maybe it was because she was so completely focused on FORCING DOWN the mind-controlling agony of complete bodily regeneration but she didn't notice Tiamat's approach until the kai was already cradling her in her arms! The Majin would struggle to open her eyes, her silver irises trembling in their blackened sockets... She barely caught the VERY concerned expression of the woman that held her, a face she... really didn't like seeing with that expression... It was so potent, the fear in Tiamat's face, The Majin felt a reflection of it in her own gut, the chilling grip of fear knowing that someone else was hurting because of something YOU did. Liari wasn't strong enough, even after having regained a portion of her power, to defend herself... and Tiamat was paying for it with her worry...

...All Liari wanted to be was strong... Why couldn't she be strong...? If she was, stupid stuff like this wouldn't happen...

Wincing in pain, Liari would reach up with trembling arms, her hands cradling the soft features of Tiamat. With what little strength she could gather through the pain, she would pull Tiamat's head down to her own, Liari lightly pressing her forehead against the Kai's, hugging her as closely as she could in this state! Tears would bubble up in the corner of the Majin's eyes as she stared up into her friend's, her lower-lip trembling weakly, a sign of barely restrained emotions!

She would have apologized if she had the words, apologized for being weak, for not being able to protect herself, for filling the person she cared most of on this middle-of-nowhere planet with perhaps the most palpable fear she had felt in her life! Liari would have apologized for being stupid and picking this fight in the first place, knowing she was just BARELY tapping into her maximum potential, for being STUPID and RECKLESS with her life as if it wouldn't affect anyone else! She had lived her whole life that way unapologetically because she thought nobody cared... at least, not in the ways that mattered to her.

...It wasn't at all comforting knowing this wasn't the case after seeing Tiamat's face...

Liari whimpered softly as she hugged Tiamat as close as she could manage, trying to express all that she didn't have words for:

The now frail body of the Majin rested in Tiamat's arms, barely able to move, but enough so to make contact with her forehead, something the Shinjin had noticed she was very fond of, and of course she reciprocated the gesture while she still held the blueberry mess as delicately as she could. She was regenerating, and while Tiamat knew that she was not in any danger anymore, even that she was never in any real danger, the fact that Liari, for a moment, did not think that really hit her feelings hard. Like she had to ask Tiamat to stop, even in this state... as if she would ever strike again.

Almost there... Tiamat was almost ready to take Liari's pain away, just a few sparkles of magic more and she would be able to take it all off her shoulders... was she even supposed to announce her departure after that? Would Liari follow her to Namek? Those questions still gravitated around Tiamat's mind, as there were so many things she needed to keep track of right now... the mortal world, she always knew it was a complex, interconnected mess, but she never realized how harsh it could be on one's mind to have to figure at least their own part out.

The bond between people, in the Kai world, there were bonds. There was love, friendship, and hate, with everything in between also being present, but it always felt simpler. Here, there were too many people, too many variables to keep track of, and relationships were complicated. But one thing Tiamat knew for sure, she wanted to keep these bonds, and the one she developed with Liari seemed to be a unique one, which she held very close to her heart. To Tiamat, this all felt akin to what she had heard from 'motherly instinct'.

As they held their embrace, a magical circle began to appear under Liari and Tiamat. Any moment now, and she would be able to cast the spell she desperately needed right now. She could feel it, she wanted it to be possible, and her will was strengthening... while Tiamat might not realize it, she was finding the first few answers to the questions she was sent down to investigate.

'' A few more seconds Liari, just hold on a few more seconds.''

In all reality, her body should have never taken so much damage... Liari had been holding back against her, and it probably is what caused her to take so much damage.

Liari felt her own energy returning a micro-bit at-a-time, though it more-or-less allowed herself to more easily remain conscious and FEEL the loud, agonizing complaints of her body on a cellular level! YES, SHE UNDERSTOOD SHE SHOULD HAVE DODGED OR SOMETHING! STOPPIT! STOP HURTING NOW! Liari was too focused on her embrace of Tiamat to notice the new magical circle engraving itself on the ground below them, the little blue girl desperate for the comfort her... well... she wasn't really just a "friend" was she...? In her time on Earth, Liari had found herself watching the adult humans interact with their young, how... close they were to each other. The adults would teach the children things, watch them while they play, heal them when they were hurt and offer a kind word all at the same time... They did it often, sometimes EVERY DAY by Liari's estimation, always adding fuel to that warm, bubbly campfire inside their bellies.

"Momma" is what the young-ones called them, those caretakers, those adults... Liari thought she had one of those... before, her Twin always looking out for her, sometimes in the most heartless ways imaginable! No warmth in her, no care... just protection... as if it were a JOB. It was the closest thing she had to a "momma..." until now. Through teary-eyes, Liari would look up at Tiamat... and offer a smile. T'was a shaky, pain-tinted, frail thing... but it was one of unconditional love. She was learning about so many weird feelings today... First, guilt then... just how strong LOVE can be... It allowed her to smile, despite how her body cramped-up in nearly every cell... It allowed her to move, despite the borderline open rebellion her body was enacting against her mind!

...It allowed her to speak, even when her throat was about to close up on her!

"Momma...?" Liari croaked, a minute pinch of hope in her voice! "My... momma...?"
