Earth is a pretty quaint place. Especially their bustling and ever populated Central City. So, it was in a certain Kaio's best interest to not drag demons and angels into the metropolis. But Nittor had never been an especially lucky person, sure she was used to a certain amount of privilege but if you asked someone who had spent thousands of years in the Demon Realm struggling to survive, they would say their life had been a bit unfortunate.
Arriving on Earth wasn't the hard part, Shinjin had a pretty easy time with travel actually. So it wasn't like she had a horrific entrance to the lovely little ball of mortals. She had arrived and nobody was the wiser. It was her first attempt at doing her actual job that the other Kais had sent her here to do, that being exorcising any demonic energy she came across. It was a cover for both her wanting to not be around the other Shinjin and them not wanting anything to do with her all under fake smiles and laughs about how strong she had gotten.
So in the middle of a park in Central City, late at night, the pink-skinned stranger wore a cloak and hood to keep herself unseen. Right in the centre of the beautiful resting place filled with nature lay a vein of pure corrupt energy. All sorts of negative motions coalesced here and if not dealt with, it could start having adverse effects on the citizens near it. A simple job then, sneak on over to the pulsating demon energy and excise it. Maybe purify some of it and take it for herself.
Instead, hiding in the shadows, the Kai of Wrath snuck towards the inconspicuous patch of dirt with an artefact buried beneath and began muttering words under her breath. A streetlight shone down on her but her face was obscured. Holding a hand out, she tried to poke her energy into the well of evil to see what was actually going on. The ground erupted and Hell quite literally broke loose. Red and black creatures of all shapes and sizes laughed and howled as they were freed, darting off into the night, causing mayhem and havoc in the streets as they left a gaping void to a different realm. She sighed and snapped her fingers, the tear in reality sewing itself shut. That was a bad start to living on Earth. In a flash of runes and golden energy, the figure shrouded in mystery prepared a holy spear with wings. It was time to cleanse these little freaks before things got too out of hand.
Flying imp-like beasts flew up into the pitch black sky and began destroying windows and cackling as they wrecked everything they saw while more lumbering types began attacking cars, setting off alarms. One particularly large demon tore up a street lamp and chucked it. It was pandemonium. It had been such a quiet night.
"Wherever I go, the devilish seem to follow. I suppose I should be happy, since killing them is my job but this is a real drag..." All those years in isolation made her used to talking to herself, not realising it was probably unusual to do in the middle of the night when you're trying to be a tiny bit inconspicuous.
