The hooded cloak gathered around Rime's body fluttered in the wind as he moved deeper into the alleyways and dark corners of this moon. Often, he was on Arcose proper, but he had taken advantage of his leave to catch a shuttle to the Frozen Moons that surrounded them. If there was one thing that could be said about his people, they were industrious in whatever they chose to do. The moons, covered in settlement, technology and all manner of shadow to hide guile and underhanded dealings, reflected them very well. He thought about that sometimes, staring up at the sky.
One of the burlier men near the doorway to the casino stopped in front of him, staring down. If there was one advantage of allowing other peoples onto Arcose, it was that they provided services like this. His father would have never approved. "Rime. I'm here by appointment." The large alien stared down at him for a moment before listening to someone talking on an earpiece, and cocked his head towards the door, indicating that the Arcosian could enter.
While the casino itself was opulent and exciting, as they were always designed to be, Rime was more than aware of what lay under it. That was the kind of man he was here to meet, after all - smart enough to stay out of sight and make money from that process. He would have to do much of the same with this meeting, and he knew that. If there was one slip-up, a single spotting of him by a witness that could recognise him or that could later identify him, then that would be the end of his military career. All of his work and effort, vanished into nothing. It didn't help that it would make him far less useful to his potential business partner, as well.
Rime moved through the back of the casino, sticking to the edges and keeping his face out of general sight. A guard escorted him through the darker corridors as he approached the meeting place, trying to steel himself for who he was to meet.
