Saiba-Ban was outside pumping Gas into a pod. It was some Heran Warrior talking about his next big job. Saiba-Ban just nodded, "And yah cool. Anyway you got your money." The man laughed flipping off. "No thanks for the gas fucking idiot." He yelled and drove off in his pod. Saiba-Ban sighed forming ki on the end of his thumb. He fired a beam at the engine side causing the ship to go spinning and slam into one of the other asteroids exploding. There goes one of his customer . "Asshole. Don't talk so big when you need to breath idiot." He waved. He sighed though, no money. He had one customer in the past month that Shakuhachi guy. He pretty much was the worst. Kinda wish he went with him through. He was getting pretty bored with his lack of social interaction. Scratch that, his lack of positive social interactions. Plus his plans to take over the entire asteroid belt with his monetary empire required him to have allies. People that worked under him. "Whatever. Guess it just a dream." Saiba-Ban sighed walking back into his store unaware of approaching ships that might need some gas. He started to head to the backroom to catch an episode of the Goons and the Zooms.

Black Hearth and his crew of robotic soldiers were heading to planet Namek for a small mission. He needed to find others who had true hatred in their hearts! The tyrant wanted nothing more than to assemble a force of evil-doers capable of conquering the galaxy, and making all who oppose them suffer. He would find himself passing by the space station in a large black pod, much larger than most ships of that class. Inside the evil overlord sat on a metallic throne, surrounded by robotic guards...
As they began to pass by the station, Drone 03-B would speak up "Lord Black Hearth. Our pod is running low on fuel. Statistical probabilities of reaching namek have been reduced by 27%... recommendation: Re-fueling." Usually the dark lord would have scrapped one of his soldiers for speaking up, but this was an acceptation to the rule. "Very well then. Drones 01 through 03-A, bring us down..."
The man would arrive just in time to watch another pod get blasted into oblivion. What sort of heartless sonofabitch would do something like that!? This was Black Hearth's kind of place. He along with the massive entourage of soldiers would emerge from the large pod. It seemed the source of the attack came from a small green alien. A sibaman from what the tyrant could tell. The massive metallic man would call over to Siba-ban "Very Impressive display there friend... Very impressive. That's what I call real carnage! *Ahem* now, I'm here about fuel..."
Black Hearth's PL: 4,500 (Base) Necrodrones x8 PL: 2,500 each (there are two different minions in quad multiform, and each are transformed. I'll break this up into individuals if we fight for whatever reason.)
Atomos had found himself traveling through the stars in a his very own space pod. How did he get here? He had spent his entire life in the Saiba wastelands, slowly growing through his life cycles and studying the Saiyan people. His whole three year life had been dedicated to this cause; never once leaving the wasteland at any time out of fear that he was not ready. And now he was in space? A curious discovery had pushed him in this direction.
During the walks he liked to take around the edge of the capital he came across a small hut one day. It had been one he'd come across many times before, but he'd never dared venture too close to it. As he matured though the allure grew stronger and stronger until the day came when his curiosity could no longer be held back any further. Exploring the shack he was rather disappointed with the contents, that was until he opened a small lock box and found... a picture of himself? But he looked different; he was a lot younger.
Who was the person who owned this place, and why did he have an interested in Atomos? He had never remembered anyone coming or going to the shack, and judging from the state of it the most likely conclusion was that it was abandoned. As he turned the place over, looking for any explanation he finally came across a note left behind. It simply read "I can't take this any longer; as long as he's here I won't spent another minute on Vegeta." And that was it, but it couldn't end; not like that.
He had nothing to work on as far as destination, save for a single scrap: Earth. There was a picture on the wall of planet he didn't recognize, but the letters 'E-A-R-T-H' were scrawled above. He didn't know anything about the place, but this figure needed to be found. He grabbed ahold of his emergency pod and took off in that direction. The first problem he encountered was that he didn't know how to actually use the pod, which lead him hopelessly in the wrong direction.
The second was that the pod was running low on fuel. Thankfully, or perhaps even miraculously, there appeared to be a gas station on a chain of asteroids just up ahead. As he tried his best to make a landing he saw from his window another pod being destroyed as it tried to take off; just what the hell was going on? It's possible this was just a set up by pirates looking to scam people; better stay vigilant. Instead of landing on the front porch he touched down a little further back out of sight so he could scope things out first. He wasn't the best fighter but he could handle himself alright.
As he peaked over a rock he noticed what must have been a Saiba creature re-entering the store. He couldn't detect any other power levels so many this was no set up, though that still didn't explain the whole 'blowing up a ship' thing. Before leaving cover though another came down, with this one being a whole lot scarier. He called out to the Saiba creature, apparently he was impressed by the act of destruction. Atomos preferred stealth and subterfuge, but he'd stay in his lane on this one. All he really wanted was some fuel, not to mess with this guy, but he didn't really have a choice. He slowly left his cover and made his way over to the entrance, trying to look as inconspicuous as he could along the way.
Saiba-Ban was just about to relax when the tv went static again. It seemed that was what happened whenever a ship passed by. "Oh another customer. I really need to fix this thing to get me an alert instead." That was a mental note to get a mechanic to fix that. Maybe he could get more people to hire. That was how he'd prove he was a real boss. Saiba-Ban walked out as he saw a small army in front of him. A tone of drones that seemed to work for this one head honcho. His Powerlevel was <4,500> pretty powerful to be honest. Something Saiba-Ban could not mess with. It seemed this guy also saw the destruction he caused and praised him for it. The guy though made his intentions clear right away. He was not here to recruit it or scam him. He just wanted gas. "Good, right I can get you gas mister." He waddled to the gas pump to fill Hearth ship with gas.
He walked over to fill the ship with gas but he felt another power. One that was a little higher at <5,000>. He wondered if they were gonna rob him or something. That they assumed he was ultra strong so they needed to sneak attack him. Even if Saiba-Ban powered up he'd be barley ahead of them at <6,000>. Even then, it was not like his foes could not power up and the drones on top? Yah he was just going to do his job. If they robbed him he'd deal with it. Alerting them to that fact was also not a good idea, it make make him get in trouble. He kept filling gas as he spoke to Black Hearth. "You got money for this right? Last guy laughed at me and flew off. Hence the explosion." He waited to see if this guy was going to do the same. Though this time it was a bluff since Black Hearth was stronger then him.

It didn't take long for the siba-man to come out and see Black Hearth. The guy appeared quite professional, immediately filling up his tank before even asking about payment. If everyone in the galaxy was like this, then the tyrant wouldn't need to conqueror it. Too bad this man was just a needle in a haystack. "My, so agreeable. It's not too often you can get good service out in space. Most space mechanics are all 'Don't touch that' or 'did you get the extended warranty on your pod?' by the kais, I get so many damn scouter calls about my ship's warranty! I never even purchased one!"
As dark lord continued ranting on, he would fail to notice the presence of another at the space station. His robotic guards however would detect the presence of what appeared to be a saiyan. Drone B-04 would attempt to tap his master on the shoulder, "WHAT! Can't you see I'm ranting here!?" The robot would then point to the new man at the scene. "Ah, a saiyan... Nothing to worry about B-04, fall back in line..."
Black Hearth would turn his attention back to the mechanic as payment was mentioned "Oh, yes... Money... Compensation... Uh, just a moment." The dark lord would outstretch his right arm, palm facing upward. Through the powers of magic materialization, a large gold bar would appear in his hand (10 lb. bar). He would then bend over and set it at the Saiba-man's feet. "Will that suffice?"
Well, there was no point hiding any more, was there? He needed fuel and this was the only place he was going to get it, so he got out from his vantage point and walked into the scene. The Saiba creature manning the fuel was certainly a strange sight for him; since when were the Saiba intelligent enough to pump gas? He'd never seen anything like it before, and coming from a place where the Saiba were regularly hunted and eaten it was quite the shock.
But the other guy? He may have been even more of a shock. He could barely even describe what it was; certainly no race he'd ever come across before. And all the little robots buzzing around him? He didn't look like the kind of guy that could be messed with; not if you wanted to keep your head. Atomos didn't want trouble with him, or anyone; he just wanted to refuel and get out of here. Though he couldn't help his curiosity when it came to the teller. "Uh, greetings there gentlemen. I hope you don't mind me; I'm just needing to refuel. I'll go ahead and wait here."
Somehow, out of nothing but air, the owner of the ship was able to create a golden bar which he used for payment. This day just got a whole lot stranger. If he could do that, Atomos wondered what else he could do though; such an ability would be quite useful to pick up himself. But he wasn't sure bugging the guy would be a smart play; just wait it out.
Saiba-Ban went on fueling the ship as he listened onto Black Hearth. He talked about how everyone out there he meet that did this type of job was always so touchy about stuff. Saiba-Ban nodded, “Well I can see that, people wanna be in control and their space pirates and the like. But this asteroid area got a lot of other businesses. I don’t worry if someone tries to cause me a bit of trouble then I handle it from there. I also just rarely get business so I’ve not had a serious issue yet.” Saiba-Ban went back to complete focus on refueling the pod though he sensed that other power coming close. He was about ready to say something about it. But one of Black Hearth drones pointed him out and it seemed they were indeed not allies. That made Saiba-Ban a bit more calm as he finished pumping Black Hearth Gas. Now it was time for the money.
First though he turned to Atomos as he said he was here to get gas himself. “Oh well bring your ship over then I just about finished with this man.” He glanced at Black Hearth as he formed a bar of gold for payment. “Huh?” Saiba-Ban looked at the bar. He sniffed it first to see it was real. Seemed real enough. Then he leaned down to give the bar a lick. “Hmp...seems real enough. How did you make this? It just appeared in your arms. It gonna vanish when you leave or something right?” He didn’t wanna get ripped off ahead of time. But the gold seemed so real. If it was real then oh boy, he just made a killing. This bar was worth way more than what Atomos owed him. No reason to tell the guy that though. He'd take all the money he could get.

The saiba-man seemed unconvinced that the payment was in fact real. It was real, to an extent. The bar had the exact molecular structure as pure gold, and no, it wouldn't disappear. The dark lord would explain as much "Fake? What do you take me for? A fraud? I am Black Hearth the Death Eater! Rightful ruler of the galaxy! This gold is One-Hundred percent genuine!"
Black Hearth would be somewhat frustrated with the man's distrust, but he could respect distrust to an extent. It was around this time that the saiyan showed up. He was strong, impressively so... If only he possessed evil intentions in his heart, then maybe the dark lord's collision could grow ever stronger. Maybe that's why the drone was so keen to get his attention earlier. Maybe not.
Black Hearth would inspect this saiyan up and down, the dark lord's soul was once that of a tuffle. Saiyans were suppose to be their natural enemies. Unfortunately for both races, Black Hearth hated them equally. "A saiyan all the way out here huh? Out on some sort of mission...? If you're a soldier of fortune, I've actually been looking to hire a couple mercenaries... As you can see, I can provide a decent bit of wealth."
The Saiba creature instructed Rensou to bring his ship around so it could be refueled, which he promptly did. He didn't want to risk another potential crash landing he instead chose the safer option of picking the pod up with his hands and carrying it over to the refueling section. He didn't really understand any sort of options which it came to what fuel or how much, so he'd had to instead leave that decision up to the owner of the story.
The one who had come before him created a bit of gold as payment for the fuel, however the Saiba seemed to distrust this payment, which was understandable. For all he knew they could be some sort of magical fraud, though Black Hearth as he was called was adamant that it was no fraud. This exchange made Rensou ponder his own payment; he had a bit of zeni, but he wasn't sure how much the fuel would actually cost him. Hopefully whatever he had on him would be enough to cover the costs, else things might get a bit ugly.
At this point Hearth now turned his attention to Rensou, and informed the boy that he was looking for a mercenary, and wondered if he may be interested. Rensou could always do with more money, but he would have to hear out the offer first. "What work are you looking to have done?"
Saiba-Ban shook a bit as Black Hearth roared with fury. He was not happy that Saiba-Ban was accusing him of faking this gold, "No of course not I just wanna be sure." He didn't wanna mess with this guy. "But my issue was not it is real or not. I believe you but you just made it appear out of thin air. But I'll take your word for it and assume it won't vanish on me. I didn't mean no disrespect by it." Saiba-Ban grabbed the bar of gold carrying it as he waddled off towards Atomos. Saiba-Ban did make a mental note to sell the gold as soon as possible. He didn't want to take the chance for it to vanish on him.
Anyway, he arrived at where he was going to fill Atomos ship. Atmos was even carrying it over to be in the right spot so he fuels the ship up. It was a small ship and considering he was carrying it he must have been fully out of gas. That meant he was getting even more money, "Alright I'll get your ship filled up really quick should not be too hard." Saiba-Ban put the gold bar down and began to work on fueling the pod. Black Hearth did begin to talk to Atomos and ask him what a Saiyan was doing out here. Saiba-Ban was a bit curious about that. He was not a big fan of Saiyans. Since he had fought many of them back on Plant. But he was here for business. As long as Atmos paid him he didn't care who or what he was. Black Hearth also seemed to be hiring which perked Atomos interest but only Saiba-Ban hope they leave faster. He didn't want another Shakuhachi situation at his gas station.

So this saiyan did seem to have a little background in mercenary work, that was good for the dark lord's purposes. He had already managed to gain the service of a powerful ice dragon, but a saiyan warrior may be just as powerful an asset. Though this would first require him to first convince the man. The tall metallic man would begin a fierce monologue "As you may have heard. My name is Black Hearth the Death Eater. I am a conqueror, destroyer, and dictator of worlds! For the last month, myself and my robotic forces have been at war with the planet earth. We seek to conqueror it, and divide it's provinces among the strongest members of our organization. We will rule like kings, and should we be successful, we will not stop there! I will raze an army so large, the entire galaxy will bow before our sheer might! Long live the Army of Darkness! MWHAHAHAAAA!"
The various robotic guards would give a salute to their master, each filled with artificial pride for serving their parts. Black Hearth himself would continue on "Should you accept this offer... I will grant you land on earth, weekly pay, and free gas for your travels... Should you need time to, reflect on my offer. I possess a stronghold in the Northern Regions of earth... Though I'd implore you to make a decision soon."
Black Hearth explained the situation to Rensou. Apparently this guy was some sort of big, bad conqueror who was currently at war with Earth, and should Rensou join up with this guy he promised rewards such as land and pay. It wasn't a bad deal, after all how could he turn down his own region to control? But he still had a few reservations that needed to be addressed. First and foremost; how could he trust that this guy was really who he said he was? He could just be some nobody with a death wish, and he didn't want to throw his life away for nothing.
Second of all, he didn't really have all that much investment in the future of Earth. He had never even been to Earth and he wasn't really all that concerned with it. Now if he changed the offer to make it Plant instead it would suddenly become a lot more interesting, but that still didn't mean he was all on board just yet. "You say you are a conqueror? With an army of 'darkness'? Well, if that is the case, would you mind listing off some of the planets you have conquered? Perhaps I've heard of them."
Saiba-Ban had to listen as he filled Atomos car. Black Hearth was going on this tirade about his power and who he was. Saiba-Ban didn't understand people like that. He also had to wonder if that was how he sounded like in the past. That was such a megalomaniac. No that was impossible, unlike everyone else Saiba-Ban actually was smart and had plans. Apparently, Black Hearth was trying to conquer a planet called Earth. He had no idea what that was but apparently from how he was sounding he must have been doing a pretty good job at that. All he could glean from that was this Earth must have been a pretty weak planet if he and a couple of robots could take it over. Again he was the same with Plant. So maybe he should not be so hard.
Anyway, this army of darkness was pretty powerful from the sounds of it but also he had to meet Shakuhachi who had been way stronger. Still, he seemed to be just as arrogant. Saiba-Ban finally finished filling the gas for Atomos as he glanced at the Saiyan. He seemed to want to know the planets that Black Hearth had conquered. Saiba-Ban was curious too. If he had conquered so many planets, then when would his asteroid belt be on the list. Saiba-Ban really needed to find a way to make sure no meathead ruined his dreams. This was his Gas station. Saiba-Ban made another mental note to gather funds for higher bodyguards/workers for this place. That way he could combat anyone who decided they would not do business. So first he waved at Atomos, "Finished with your gas now I want my pay."
