A massive crowd had gathered and they all were witnessing the execution of a former saiyan officer that led a charge into one of the tuffle's laboratory take down facilities many years ago. Today was his execution day. Two tuffle soldiers stood beside him and held his arms on each side as he wore the standard issue prison uniform. He was placed on those head cutting medieval devices with a bucket placed underneath the hole. He was placed on his knees and locked in place. Yangcong was present and wearing his captain's uniform and holding a rifle by his side. He stood at the edge of the platform to the left, looking to the crowd and looking at the gray skies and from the looks of it, rain was about to be upon them. As he stood there ready, a group of saiyan soldiers were hiding within the crowds and alleyways, waiting for the signal to free their former officer and attacking the tuffle soldiers head on. One of the soldiers who was nearby Yangcong had approached him.

"Captain, so far nothing seems out of place. We have searched the area."

Yangcong's helmet helped concealed his voice somewhat.

"Start the execution process."

The soldier nodded and headed over to the executioner as he whispered into his ear. The executioner spoke to the prisoner.

"Do you have any final words before you are killed?"

The prisoner had stayed silent. Wondering what he would say as his last words.

'They DO executions on this side of the aisle?' Amara had stumbled upon the event by sheer accident, and despite it being a more remote town closer to the Saiyan territory border, the thought that some Tuffles permitted public executions was a bit strange. Sure war criminals or spies might get a shock or a pill in private but to hook up a former soldier to a guillotine and prepare to lob his top off in front of a crowd? That shit kinda felt archaic. ...It was also probably a war crime considering the man was technically protected under POW status. Amara had felt a few strange blips in the crowd of Tuffles, an abnormally large amount of offworlders present despite the location of it all. If she didn't know better, Amara would almost say that they were Saiyans. Yet even dumb grunts wouldn't be foolish enough to waltz into Tuffle territory and attempt to extract a man on death row right from under the Tuffle's noses, right? Amara, at the moment, was still leaning towards loyalty for Vegeta due to her bloodline alone and yet risking her cover to save one lone soldier from death seemed far from worth it. For now she'd wait and watch.

231Smoke grenades were now thrown to the platform and as they started to go off, Yangcong had leaped into the air and had looked downward to see saiyan soldiers now rushing into the fray and executing the execution and another soldier on the platform. The saiyan soldiers then had tried to rush Yangcong while he was in mid air and upon meeting them in the sky, he aimed his rifle blaster at the both of them and fired. Executing their lives on the spot and landing to his feet. The smoke had faded and the prisoner was now free! Now they were escorting the prisoner through the forest after escaping the city. Yangcong had followed them along with two other tuffle soldiers. One of the soldier speaking to Yangcong to give him an update.

"Four saiyan soldiers are escorting the prisoner. One of them is an elite officer."

Trying to make up the distance, Yangcong had pushed forward and began to fire rifle ki blast straight at two of the saiyans who was left behind to defend against any kind of ambush. one of them was quickly eliminated by the blast fire and the other one was severely injured.

"Where are they taking the prisoner?"

"Fuck you."

He spat on his armor and Yangcong had tossed him aside as he quickly tried to rush over to the remaining two saiyan soldiers.

And in the span of approximately 10 seconds, went to absolute shit. Her suspicions were proved immediately correct as the quote-unquote aliens that had been in the crowd previously revealed themselves to be Saiyans. What was even stranger how nobody in the crowd had suspected something like this would have happened. The civilians were in complete chaotic disarray, with Amara simply sitting back and watching everything unfold for a bit. After all, she really didn't have much to gain by helping either side right now. As unfortunate as execution was her primary goal was to end the war first and foremost, not to help every single individual along the way. Then again... it was quite likely that even killing this man in the first place given that he was an official soldier was a war crime.

She didn't necessarily interrupt the proceedings, but at least getting more information on this man's 'crimes' from both sides could help her determine if she was to take action or not. Landing in front of the captain, Amara held up a single palm and uttered one word "Wait. I'm not entirely sure of the context here, but I'm also sure that up and killing a man with a guillotine in public is seen as rather barbaric." Although she had not yet made any overtly threatening moves, Amara would try to physically stop the soldier if he attempted to move past her.

"He committed a war crime and must be punished under law"

He had to remain in character. Explaining the situation on why he was doing these activities would only grow more suspicious. He chose to attempt to run around her and continue to tail the two saiyans who chose to protect him. Yangcong had quickly taken out his rifle and attempted to fire it straight at one of the saiyan soldiers, being the low class tier one and shooting him down entirely. He continue the chase and hopefully Amara would not intervene in the chase and chose to ignore it. But knowing her, she wouldn't stop at nothing. Yangcong had briefly spoke into his tuffle radio.

"Suspect is heading to the North of the forest, cut him off at the end of it."

The soldiers had listened and started to set a perimeter around the North side of the forest and were about to get ready the moment the three saiyans had arrived.

The vagueness of 'war crime' and needing to be punished with death had not done nearly enough to satiate her curiosity after all. With an angered huff the Saiyan took to the skies, pinning down the fleeing energy of the prisoner and catching up to the man before his pursuers caught up. "Now I don't exactly know what's going on here, but-" She had moved to land in front of her target, holding up a hand to stop him. Yet as soon as Amara caught a glance of his face up-close she couldn't help but stop. "-Matillo?"

She recognized the Saiyan as a former member of Garrick's personal elite squad. He had been on the crueler side of things with one of the highest kill counts ever recorded for a Saiyan under her father's command and hence was transferred not long before Garrick's death. What the Hell was he doing here, about to be executed in Tuffle territory? The man's gaunt and bearded form leered at her, a thin smile crossing his lip. "So you survived, huh? I heard that your little crash recently took out what remained of your father's former squad."

206Yangcong had continued his advancement however, it looked like Amara had beaten him to it and knew who this man was. As he got closer, he heard the man speak about her surviving the crash site. Yangcong just stood there and listened. Meanwhile the saiyan elite that was taken him to safety had turned to the tuffle captain and was ready to fight him. Yangcong simply stood there, waiting for the saiyan elite to make a move and more importantly, watch Amara to see what was happening between the two of them? Yangcong had a feeling that this man knew something about Amara and her situation that Yangcong knew nothing about. The saiyan elite however wouldn't give Yangcong a chance to retaliate as he took his rush forward and Yangcong had simply dodged to the left while tripping up the elite instantly. Before the elite could do anything dirty, Yangcong had chopped his neck and caused him to collapse to the ground and knock out in the process. Yangcong stood there as tuffle soldiers were soon coming to back him up, being about three of them as they tried their best to rush over. They had radioed Yangcong, telling him that they would be there shortly.

"What are you talking about?" The voice instilled with a calm fury echoed through the air as Amara took a step towards the man, causing the ground to rumble as she fired up her powers. "Start talking before I drag your ass back to be executed," The prisoner, who had supposed to have been in Tuffles custody for the past month or so (maybe more), shouldn't have had any way of knowing that Amara had been in a crash at all. A bubble of dread lazily floated up through her chest, settling snugly next to the Saiyan's heart as she fully realized the implications of what Matillo had said. Her attempted assassination was somehow linked to this man.

Before now, he had no idea whether she was actually alive or not. With no small amount of fury, Amara moved to lift the Saiyan by his jumpsuit, the man's legs dangling mid-air even as he crookedly laughed. "Don't worry Princess, you'll find out sooner rather than later what exactly we have planned for you. There's a rather interesting fact that Yangcong helped us discover recently too. Your blood is impure, tainted, and as a weed needs to be plucked from the Saiyan nobility." Without warning Amara's free hand was wet by blood, fist colliding with the prisoner's face as Amara felt a rush of satisfaction as his cartilage was crushed beneath her. "You'll talk or you'll die." She snarled viscously, fist rearing back and primed to strike the man again if he didn't cooperate.

202As Yangcong got closer, he overheard what was happening and now he had taken off his helmet and revealed himself to Amara. Yangcong had looked to her and tossed his helmet to the side.

"Figured as much that you had a hand in this. You better start answering now."

The three tuffle soldiers had arrived and before they could even answer, Yangcong had aimed his rifle at the three of them without even looking. Killing all three of them on the spot.

"Sadly enough, I didn't have the chance to move in myself and break him free from the prison escort. The saiyans had done it for me before I could make my move."

Yangcong had then focused his attention on Amara.

"We have to go south from here now. A tuffle squadron is to the North. Get whatever information you can from him and let's get out of here. I always promised Garrick that I would protect you."

Yangcong had felt the presence of the tuffle squadron coming from the North and slowly closing in as they proceeded their advances rather quickly as three scouts of theirs road the jet ski hover bikes and was making their way closer than expected.

Amara paused from her interrogation, bloodied knuckles lowering a hair as the 'Tuffle commander' revealed himself to be Yangcong, of all people. "The Hell are you doing here? On Plant disguised as a Tuffle executioner no less?" He hadn't opted to reveal his identity before but now that Matillo was in her grasp Yangcong saw fit to show up. "Shouldn't you be back on Earth instead of mucking about in the period between the war?" A sudden sharp spike of burning pain spread through Amara's hand, fingers releasing her prey as she unleashed a string of swears.

A burst of blood trickled to the dirt below, the Saiyan moving to yank free the makeshift knife that had been implanted in her. "You fucking-" Matillo laughed, rolling back. "Thanks for making my job a bit easier, Bloodthorne." Amara scowled, sparks flitting about her arm. With a sudden burst of power, Mattilo shattered his shackles, hair spiking up and eyes turning to vibrant gold. "My associates applaud your bravery, but I'm afraid you won't be making it out of here alive." Somehow it seemed that Matillo also had access to the strange power-up Delia and Ise had before, energy spiking by over five times. "I'll DESTROY you!"

Yangcong saw the damage that Matillo had done and with a deep rage entering Yangcong's heart. He entered his transformation relatively quick and immediately grabbed a hold of the man's neck and began to shove him to the ground with immense force. Now pinning his knee against the man's back and pulling out handcuffs in an attempt to cuff him up and remove his ki control entirely.

"I have got to hand it to the tuffles, they have made such technologies like this that its very impressive what they have accomplish all this time."

As he restrained the man and continued the hold, he looked too Amara with a serious look.

"We have to get out of here. Going South is the best way to get out of here."

As Yangcong had heard nearby jet riders coming his direction, being three soldiers. Yangcong had placed his helmet on and looked to the three riders that had showed up. One of them spoke as they got off their bike.

"Captain Viper, you captured the fugitive! I will radio the others to come now."

"That won't be necessary."

Yangcong quickly hurled three lighting canisters to the three tuffles, causing them to collapse to the ground and knocking out instantly. Yangcong had radio in.

"The fugitive has escaped to the city. He is using an advanced cloaking device that the Herans have given him to give a false radar on the scans. Everyone report back to the city. Head North!"

Yangcong had used this time to drop his power level to a mere power of just 100. Erasing him off the map. One of them speaking into the radio.

"We also sense a very how power level sir? about 60,000? what do you want us to do about that?"

"Disregard that, we have a fugitive to go after! Everything else is secondary."

"Our three scouts were killed near that power level sir."

"I will investigate it later. You have your orders."

While he spoke all this, he had muffled the prisoner's mouth. As he closed his radio and took off his helmet, the prisoner was finally able to talk.

"I can see why you were always hard to catch or kill Lord slayer.... Your reputation is truly dangerous."

Yangcong had ignored him.

"Lets go Amara, I know a place where we can interrogate him."

Yangcong had gotten on one of the jet ski devices and placing the prisoner in the front. He activated their ki suppression devices.

"get on one of those and pressed the blue button. It will hide your ki signature while riding it."

"Playing detective in the middle of a conflict while being complicit in war crimes seems to be a bit of a risk, don't you think?" Surely there had to be more subtle ways to go about getting information on Garrick's untimely demise if Yangcong was so adamant about pursuing it. Amara hadn't given up on it either but so far she had opted with far more covert methods of gathering any sort of intel on the situation. Which, ironically, the former spy wasn't doing at all. After her surprise stabbing Yangcong went to restrain Matillo, who even when transformed had only enough power to catch her off guard with a cheap shot. His taunt on not leaving alive likely applied to the planet as a whole, now that it was likely his associates had been made aware of her presence on Plant. "Damnit," She hissed in frustration, fed up with her own powerlessness at the moment.

A trio of Tuffle soldiers had arrived on some sort of speeders, Yangcong working quickly to subdue them with strange grenade-like weapons that electrocuted the soldiers in short order. Amara huffed as the older man spoke on the radio, forcibly pushing her own power down as much as she could. "You want me to ride a fancy bike now too?" Despite her gripes the Saiyan compiled, hopping atop one and forgoing the aforementioned blue button entirely. "I can do it myself. I still need the practice honestly, and if anyone is dumb enough to try and stop us I'm pretty sure we could just kick their asses."

Frustration dropped, energy setting put at 100

307 // 1900"Your father saved me a life time from ever being in prison or killed. Your father has helped people during their time of need. I want to do the same for others."

Yangcong had gotten on the jet scooter with the prisoner and started to ride through the forrest. As he was heading towards the southern region, he got on his other radio device and began speaking.

"Commander Niku, I got the prisoner. We are heading in your direction as well. The saiyan insurgents almost got the prisoner and was bringing them to their mercenary hideout. Apparently they had bad blood between him as well."

As they arrived to a small outpost, Commander Niku was apart of the saiyan military and closely worked alongside Yangcong and was the one who gave him his mission to keep infiltrating the tuffle army. Little did he know, Yangcong was doing much more things against the saiyan army than helping them. Upon arrival, Yangcong getting off the vehicle and Niku meeting him at the front gate.

"You finally made it and you got the prisoner with you."

Niku then spotted another person coming, it was Amara.

"Who is she?"

"She is Commander Garrick's daughter."

The man was surprised to say the least, since he had heard of the reputation of the royal commander and respected him. He was quick to talk to her as he bowed.

"I fought along side Garrick and his unit a decade back. I was always jealous of them hehe."

"We need information out of this guy Niku. Can you handle it?"

Niku had nodded and brought them into a room. Upon entering, Niku started the interrogation and it wouldn't be long until they pulled out the information that they needed to extract from him. Yangcong was confident in his ability to get information out of anyone.

"So you were posing as a Tuffle soldier yet you have a Saiyan contact, huh?" It wasn't necessarily unusual. Yangcong's heritage and murky appearance would be hard to pin as necessarily hardline Saiyan or Tuffle. Proceeding into Saiyan-controlled territory was just a short hike given the Tuffle town's closeness with the border but that didn't make it any less risky. If Matillo was at least semi-truthful then Amara would have to be even more vigilant than normal when crossing out in the open. Few soldiers would recognize her without armor or a tail, but the few that did could pose a serious risk.

Amara may have been stronger but without the ability to transform she was essentially weaker than a large chunk of the elites roaming about Planet Plant. It was an annoying, frustrating situation and one that the woman had absolutely no control over for the time being - so she'd have to make do with trusting that Yangcong's contact wasn't also a part of this apparent shadow cabal gunning for her head. The pair (trio if the captured man counted) arrived shortly after, Amara scowling a bit as the older hybrid spouted her origins so easily. Still, she stiffly returned the bow out of respect, hoping that this Niku could be trusted. "So... what next?"

357 // 2,257Niku started his interogation and was quick to immediately chant a spell underneath his breath in a mutter. With his right hand now glowing a mystic purple, he slammed his fist straight into the prisoner's stomach. A symbol would appear in the shape of an upside skull and before long, the prisoner started to speak truths involuntary like he was in a trance. He started to chant a familiar name towards Yangcong and his jaw had dropped.

"There was a man by the name of Oregano... former mechanic for the saiyans...worked on ships...."

Yangcong stood closer to the man who spoke. Niku took noticed and replied back towards him.

"Don't touch him. He's telling us truths..."

The man started to explain the situation in detail......

The half breed oregano heran had just accepted the package from a mysterious man. After the mysterious man had left and he had no idea who that man was. Mattilo had shown up beside Oregano and chuckled, taking notice of the new shipment box.

"Is this the last one?" Mattilo stated in disbelief.

Oregano chuckled as he concealed the payment he had received under his clipboard and away from Mattilo's sight.

"That's right. Just need it transported to Commander Garrick's ship."

Mattilo shrugged his shoulders and picked up the cargo.

"I will do it, i'm heading over there anyways to give Commander Garrick the latest report on the Saiba wastelands region.. They have gotten bigger you know.. almost like involving.."

Oregano had shook his head nervously.
