Thread Synopsis: A group of fire giants has taken up residence in an inactive volcano, their activity threatens to awaken the volcano and cause widespread devastation.
The Hellfire Summit...
Located in the South region of planet Earth, The Hellfire Summit is home to hot and dry climate that spreads all across the land. Rain is foreign to these lands as a single droplet has yet to fall from the sky above. The incredibly hot climate burns up any chances a storm has to float on by overhead. As a matter of fact, the only storm that brews in these parts are the ones the volcano itself creates. The main attraction as well as the heart of The Hellfire Summit is the incredibly large volcano that plants itself around miles upon miles of dried up fields. However, after centuries of the volcano being active and helping form the land around it, the massive volcano slowly and eventually became inactive and barren.
Now in present day, The Hellfire Summit seems to be home to a group of fire giants. The heat radiating off the volcano serves as a natural habitat for the towering creatures. However... Along with the fire giants, danger has also inhabited the lands. Deep inside the inactive volcano, the fire giants themselves are hatching a plan to get the volcano active again. Not only do they plan on making it active again, they also plan to make it stronger than ever for maximum devastation. All they need to destroy the entire Southern Region is one thing... A human sacrifice.
"Soon, we will reclaim our land. Just like our ancestors did." A dark bellowing voice said from deep inside the volcano.

A few days after Alaistair's attempted reprieve, and much more work involving the Fiasco from days before, word came to Alaistair about something that caught Alaistair's interest! A land, at first rumored to be in the Southern islands but was later discovered to be South of the famed Diablo Desert, had unusually gigantic humanoid footprints at the base of an inactive volcano. Upon further investigation into this Volcano, the Hellfire Summit, Alaistair determined that he should make a visit there. See what he could find there!
Since it was just himself this time around, Alaistair went ahead and flew there in the evening time after making sure his people would be able to handle the usual work at the Cherry Fishing Company, as well as preparing their voyage once more to Papaya! No more interruptions to be had with psychos shooting waves of energy out and destroying his work... Just a straightforward look at things!
Alaistair had first arrived at a town due east of the region. It wasn't so much a town; rather, it was like a city of tents. Many would be explorers, mercenaries, merchants, and the ever so brief rich folk living there. Each had their own business there and tended to share all kinds of different information. Some cared and others did not about who they interacted with. Their business was their own, and if someone wanted to gain something, they'd trade for it. Authentic relics or pieces of information was the trade here!
The Devil arrived outside this town, his outfit materialized today consisting of a largely brimmed hat, a sleeveless leather duster with a few pockets on the front, all empty, with some breathable pants and boots. His tail dragged behind him, creating a small trail in the dusty ground as he looked at the tents.
'Who to talk to,' he pondered, looking side to side at each of the people, 'Mercenaries would be easy to talk to, but their information is probably crap. That or they'd ask for much more than I'd not care to give. Forget the rich idiots gathered... They only got one thing on mind.'
Alaistair mulled over his options. The best would be those energetic folk, but they also brought the most trouble... A difficult decision for sure!

Emperor Ticoga: It's just an Alcatel, not one of these super complicated smart phones. Hopefully the replacement will be easy.

Lottus: I shouldn't be surprised. The phone's 8 years old and I've never had battery issues until now.
