Unexpected Factors (Private)

As the situation seemed to steadily escalate, Shivvz found himself along the edge of the policed perimeter. Yakito would arrive, along with the multi-tama's, prompting Shivvz to avert his attention. "Ah, Squadron member Yakito, I've heard much of your contribution to the Empire." he'd remark, raising a brow as Yakito dropped off the Tama's, instructing them to assist in the evacuation, "Pardon my impertinence, but isn't it a bit unwise to leave children to-" unfortunately, Yakito was gone, seeing to the matter of a sudden new arrival.

Shivvz would glance down upon the twin-tama's as they took quickly to attempting to guide civilians away, using a strange tendril of hair atop their heads of all things as a way to guide others. He'd sigh, turning away from the two, his scaly tail sweeping the ground beside him, "If you're to help, so be it." he'd say reluctantly, "Just be sure you're guiding others away from the battle, towards the officers you see there." he'd clarify, returning to the self same task.

While Shivvz and the Tama's dealt with the evacuating civilians, Zuqetta and Cheri continued dealing with Kronos. Kronos had drawn near, placing his chest against Zuqetta's blade; to which she would quickly reel back, shooting the boy a scowl. He saw fit to manipulate the words being thrown around, but Zuqetta refused to also allow him to manipulate her blade. Cheri began her rebuttal, steadily drawing in power; the visual of her armor forming around her for the incoming assault would have been something that'd have excited Zuqetta with a childish glee, if not for the seriousness of the situation.

Kronos hardly seemed like he was even listening to a word said with how his responses were, his was truly a mind that Zuqetta simply couldn't understand. The time for talk had ended however, and with a knowing nod between the two, Cheri had begun her assault.

Zuqetta pulled back, allowing Cheri the opportunity to talk out Kronos swiftly, if possible; yet another unknown variable would include itself in this sudden debacle. A ship would come crash landing onto the venue, stirring up further panic with the masses; from the ship would shoot out a bright red creature, one that would lunge straight towards Kronos. Zuqetta hardly had a moment to even consider the new development before Yakito was upon this new arrival, forcing him away with a quick, decisive blow. It was a relief to Zuqetta, who could now place her full attention on Kronos...

Zuqetta remained a fair distance behind Cheri, closing her eyes as Kronos took the brunt of her volley. He'd been sent flying, but it was clear it wouldn't be enough. She'd take a breath, turning her blade around and holding it directly to her side; Cheri could have put up more of a fight, but the Ape Buster was hardly designed for such densely populated locales. As Kronos began to pull himself from the rubble, she could hear the toxicity of his words as he spoke to that woman who'd previously slapped him; in his words was a thinly veiled threat, one Zuqetta refused to allow to come true.

"Chancellor-" Zuqetta would whisper, dropping her mana veil and allowing her energy to rise, "-please cover for me." she'd say plainly, as a golden energy began to swirl around her, before erupting violently.

She'd change her approach, seeking a less violent conclusion, though less violent remained relative. Her rapier would change, vanishing and being replaced with a katana, one of similar design to that previously used against Lottus. As she opened her eyes, her form would shift, her power skyrocketing as she took on her Super Saiyan form; then, without warning, she would vanish from where she stood, a sudden vacuum of wind rushing past Cheri and towards the direction of Kronos.



"She could-" Zuqetta would respond, suddenly before Kronos, "-but then others could get hurt."

Zuqetta had no need to explain more than that; she would thrust her left arm forward, the pommel of her katana guided directly into Kronos' abdomen. Rather than the blade, Kronos would receive a blunt strike filled with the full might of a Super Saiyan and all of Zuqetta's combined Light and Dark magic. Energies of the opposing magics would swirl, bring forth both intense freezing cold and terrible searing heat, and experience only Jagaimo had ever experienced; unlike what Jagaimo had endured however, Zuqetta would concentrate her magic into a singular point upon the pommel of her blade, preventing her mana from erupting outward.

Should Zuqetta's attack have landed true she would continue forward, seeking to not merely incapacitate Kronos, but to launch him clear from the venue, from all of Hatchi even. There would be no eruption of magical power threatening to destroy nearby structures as had been the case at the palace. Rather, she would continue forward with her attack, aiming to push Kronos out of the city, and into the nearby forest on the outskirts, where innocents of Hatchi would be safe from anymore of the boy's insanity.

Yakito's intuition ended up true, or at least it was close to be; while the Chancellor's missiles were partially mitigated by the impetuous Tuffle youth flourishing their sword about, Zuqetta's fierce pommel strike delivered after metamorphosing her rapier into a katana put Kronos out of commission. The way Kronos hurtled through the sky under Zuqetta's close supervision was somewhat reminiscent of how the Saiyan Queen once uppercutted Yakito through the Brawl Hole's roof. The memory of their first meeting was a bittersweet one, but it was one that Yakito would always fondly recall as the start of something greater...

As if he didn't already have enough on his plate, Ambrose solicited the androgynous Squadmate's attention. It wasn't inappropriate, though, and Yakito accepted the old man's gratitude with a solemn nod given alongside a brief handshake. "It's nothing, really. This wasn't a situation a child should have ever got themselves involved in; from start to finish, her safety was my number one priority."

With this said and done, Onoma remained pinned under Yakito's palm. When the Earthling dished out his takedown earlier, he took great care to eschew the direct use of clenched fists out of fear of shattering the Namekian's cranium. He withdrew the forceful limb to assert the amplitude of the damage. "Shit..." He looked like, uh… a very dead thing. This surely wasn't true, right? Namekians were known for their regenerative prowess, right?!?!?!

Apparently not this one; Yakito double-checked with his scouter, but to no avail. He put his hands over his respirator-covered mouth as his eyes grew to reach the size of dinner plates. "NO! DAMMIT!" Innocent blood wasn't the type that Yakito wanted to stain his hands. For all he knew, that crimson slug could have been nothing more than a virtuous vigilante wanting to help out, and he went absolutely ballistic on the poor lad. As his hands shifted from his trembling jaw line to grab fistfuls of billowing locks of gold, Cheri interjected with reassuring news.

"Wait wha-" He clumsily caught the pair of handcuffs thrown his way. This didn't add up... "Oh!" With a deep sigh let loose before his own idiocy, Yakito detransformed, forcefully sucking the crimson aura back inside his body. Strands of intangible red converged to his eyes that soon returned to their normal glow after stockpiling what was left from his Autopilot . "He's alive." As indicated by his scouter that revealed itself to be much more helpful when there wasn't a massive number with twenty alarm prompts clogging the puce-colored lens.

Yakito regarded Cheri with a thumbs up. "Will do. In exchange, have this." He pressed a button on the side of the scouter attachment of his rebreather, sending a frequency to the Chancellor's own power reader. "Emperor Ticoga's contact details, provided you accept them. This will allow you to access a channel with an end-to-end encryption. My Emperor means well and has been endeavoring to break the trends established by his predecessors; galactic cooperation is where true progress lies. The keyword here is terraforming breakthroughs: It is of my understanding that both Plant and the Imperial agri-worlds plagued by unsustainable monocultures from the Hibernal Regime could benefit."

"T'was a pleasure, Chancellor Cheri." With Onoma hopefully cuffed and in tow —unless he made a daring escape forcing Yakito to chase after him and club him on the skull with full force AGAIN— the Earthling would have led the crimson freak to the interrogation room where he would have been dealt with by Tuffle law enforcement.

What a day!
