The announcement that came in the form of Azoth projecting his thoughts again was like a sign and one that Zerori was uncertain about good or bad. Whatever the case, she was right! This was all just a ploy to get them to not pay attention to the real issue and Zerori gave an annoyed snarl before throwing her arm out and smashing her fist against the wall, “DAMN IT!” So there were bombs and hostages AND some rat bastard running around like he owned the place? In any other situation, Zerori felt like she should have been impressed - inspired, even - but something felt gross about someone destroying lives and not even showing their face.
While she was fuming, the other two had already made the decision for where they would go and Ise’s voice cut through Zerori’s lamenting to give her a task. It stung a bit, being told what to do by someone Zerori liked, but given the situation and how important it was… Zerori just gave a solemn nod. She smiled a moment later, encouraged by the grin Ise gave “Sure. Meet you in the Trophy room,” A sly remark about how confident she was to finish quickly before running off.
She didn’t really know the layout of the place, but a handy map that told her where the cellar was had all the information she needed. Briefly, Zerori contemplated just blowing a hole in the floor and falling through that, but the words ‘Bomb’ echoed in her head so much that she miraculous decided not to do that.
Instead, she raced her way to the stairs and jumped on the railing to slide down - holding out her hand like a make-belief pistol and popping out anyone she saw as she went down. Even civilians. She didn’t care that they were likely unarmed; if they were in the way, down they would go into nap-time land and she’d actually let the authorities take care of them. She had to since she was basically dragged along for a ‘Hero’ ride. Reaching the cellar, Zerori was first aware of the smell of alcohol and that had her swallow nervously.
Another temptation for her that her mother violently tempered, making the hybrid look away pointedly to the group of dudes in the cellar. With a huff, Zerori approached and held up her ‘pistol’, “Alright, you’re gonna tell me how to turn off that bomb or I’m gonna make you eat it and watch it explode!” She snarled, waiting for them to make a move.
