CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: The prime and pristine design module of the Soyota company's most appealing line of work/functionality hatchback vehicles in the 960s, this luxurious ride sports the finest in aluminum bodied sheet metal chassis atop a solid steel frame giving it the extra weight necessary to take to those tight corners like the racers of tomorrow! It's interior leather and plastic trim along with the expensive padded bucket seats, highly functional leather wrapped steering wheel, and aluminum tire caps create the perfect appearance of abject luxury in the antique hatchback vehicular market. To cover this beauty is the grey painted chassis and reinforced bulletproof glasses windshield, complete with the adorable flip-up headlights.
Under the hood, this monster of a creation is sporting a Bansho 1.6 liter 4Alpha Internal Combustion Engine with chrome lined caps to protect the wiring and harnesses from debris during intense driving sessions, as well as official brand Capsule Corp max-tread tires for all weathers and surfaces. It's entire internal mechanism highly customized to it's owner's specifications to maximize physical speed output, complete with a NOS tank and setup to fire off a black of Nitrous to get the blood pumping and the fuel flowing faster and faster.
Finally, in the back of the hatch trunk is a compartment filled with hundreds of pounds in dumbbells and discs to add the necessary weight to complete a proper competitive drift during a race.
BACKGROUND: This specific Soyota Koroyo was branded with the VIN # of 1337R8C3R0001 and rolled off of the factory floor of the Soyota manufacturing plant during the initial production year in 961 in Central City. Shipped off to a dealership in East City and left to sit on the lot under a protected awning, it didn't take long for a young man by the name of Resuka Jidousha to purchase the vehicle with intent to use the beast in his work of vehicular repair and maintenance in his small village just outside of Mount Paozu. However, as the man drove his beloved new car around, he learned to fall in love with the particulars of this specific menace on the road. He practiced every day with it's turns, it's exceleration, and it's tight grouping before taking to the streets in full to begin his journey as a professional street racer.
Race after race, victory after victory, the man achieved his greatest dreams one after another. With time, there was no old soul left to face the mighty king of the downhill sprint and drift courses of Earth. he traveled far and wide to prove himself beating anyone and everyone willing to be publicly humiliated by the man and his outdated race car. This came to a head during a rather unfortunate match against a young racer looking to prove his worth against the mythical Resuka. During a downhill corner pass, Resuka's XZ61 made the drift perfectly with less than an inch between his rear bumper and the guard rail, gliding on the concrete with ease. His opponent, though, received no such luck. The kid went barreling through the guard rail and off of the mountain side. Quickly, and brutally, the young man's car wrapped itself around a tree down the slope taking his life. Resuka felt extreme amounts of survivor's guilt but played it tough. Ever since, the car has had two new names. The Reaper of Mount Paozu, and the Hell's Chariot. Rumors stated that those who raced Resuka and his car were doomed to die, their souls forfeit to the demon machine.
With this, though, came boredom from his lack of proper opponents. As new racers appeared, none were willing to go against the Reaper of Mount Paozu, fearing the infamy of the Hell's Chariot and it's myth of reaping the souls of those who lose against it, it's unparalleled winning streak became it's downfall, and he lost interest in the sport. Resuka retired shortly after, returning home to zero fanfair, an absolutely no one remembering the great accomplishments he had made. Living off of his wealth from his races, he became the town oddity. The drunk who lived alone with no family, obsessed with his relic of a bygone age.
You can take the bite out of the dog, but you can't unteach old tricks. Soon, rumors floated across the racing scene of an unknown sight. Along the mountain passes of Mount Paozu, there was a white sedan running unnatural speeds around corners and downhill slopes without any hint of braking. It was like a demon straight from hell bent on taking the country roads by storm. The stories claim, those who showed up at the top of Mount Paozu's downhill sprint and shut off their headlights will see him next to them. Waiting. The car revs but keeps its headlights off as well. A challenge to do a blind run of the course. Those who accept, are damned to hell if they lose, their cars burning in a fiery crash and their souls plucked from them for eternal torment. If you win, the Ghost was supposed to grant any wish you want. No one had won any races against the ghost, with many fatal crashes and wrecks happening as many attempted to keep up with his expert speed on the uncomfortably steep and curvy course. Until his last race.
During the downhill blind, Resuka was driving the Ghost way too fast around a bend and into a curve just as he normally had. What he did not expect was to hydroplane from debris in the road. Barreling off of the edge of the cliff and right through the guard rail as his first victim had, Resuka covered his eyes to shield himself from witnessing his own death. Instead, something unthinkable happened. The indominatable will of Resuka and his love for his car and his sport formed a bond between man and machine. His very soul's power of creation formulated its way through the intake valves and pistons of his beloved beast, and with it was born the machine spirit of the XZ61. The machine spirit's power plucked them from the road, returning the car and it's driver safely back onto the street in perfect view of onlookers and the opponent who had stopped to watch the wreck, the man and his XZ61 appearing out of thin air in front of the watchers. Resuka continued the race, winning easily but unable to stop the uneasy feeling he had from his near death experience.
Believing it to be a hallucination from night-time driving, Resuka dismissed the idea and left it alone. However, the XZ61 did not forget. It's machine spirit, the very soul of Resuka becoming one with his car, knew the truth. All it needed was more time to burn gas and rubber with it's master.

Power: 20%
KP Cost: 2 KP

Support Technique || Supercharged Turbo
[MAX Power Reflavor]: You may activate Max Power at the very start of your post, increasing the power of all of your techniques by +10% while active. This will drain Momentum at a cost of -1 MP per post at the beginning of your post and prevents you from gaining MP naturally, using evasive or escape techs, blocking escapes, and intercepting attacks meant for others. You can only turn it off at the end of a post, at the end your second post after activation at the earliest. You will still consume MP and not regain any MP on the post you turned it off on. If you run out of MP, you lose Max Power's effects at the end of your post and cannot gain any MP on your next turn.
Power: N/A
KP Cost: N/A
Variants: N/A
Offensive Light SPARKING Technique || Road Rage
Utilizing the superior horsepower of the vehicle's finely tuned engine, Resuka and his Soyota maximize the RPMs to ram the vehicle directly into their target. Cursing or yelling may or may not be included.
Power: 30%
KP Cost: 1 KP + 3 MP
Variants: Overflowing
Utility Technique || The Great Machine Spirit
Due to the bond held between Resuka and his car, the indomatable spirit of Resuka has become one with his vehicle and formed between them the very spirit of the machine. Every dent, every scratch, every change to the vehicle is felt between the two, and the engine has "learned" how to become one with its driver. Due to this, even if Resuka were to fall unconscious, some mysterious force unknown to all wills the vehicle to protect its driver at all costs, operating itself to save its driver.
Utility Technique || Conveniently Placed Roadways
No one is more aware of the road and all that's in it's path than Resuka and the Soyota. As a result, the vehicle's offroad capabilities has some... awkward instances of using the landscape and trajectory to operate in any necessary environment. From surprisingly placed ramps to go airborne, to conveniently located objects to drive over waterways for, there always just happens to be something for this car to drive on. Where something may not be for some specific reason, Resuka and the Soyota know how to just make it work.
