The Bitter Poles of the planet of Arcose proved to be a merciless environment for any Arcosian being on the planet, neophyte and veteran servicemen and women alike realizing the great risk that came with daring to tempt Lady Fate by deciding to spend any lengthy amount of time within such a naturally hostile atmosphere. However, there was one man who was less than impressed with the apparent high risk, high reward classification that the Bitter Poles universally were recognized with.
That man, of course, being Polarus Wintergreen- first born of Project Polarus, and meant to be the epitome of Arcosian biology personified into one, air tight, and physically primed package. He was chosen personally by Lord Hibernal, for obvious reasons, to lead a small troupe of servicemen into the Bitter Poles themselves. When asked as to why he would be doing so, considering his fellow brothers-in-arms weren't nearly as steadfast as he was and could potentially get direly injured, Hibernal told him that he would be leading a joint training session of sorts- right alongside Friege's right hand in the form of Froma, a well-known martial artist due to her upbringing and differing race from that of the rest of the Arcosian military force. While it was not unusual to spot a diversity of race within the ranks of either Arcosian emperor, to see one held in such high regard was fascinating indeed.
Especially to that of the self proclaimed right hand of that of Hibernal, seeing as he was made to be the peak of the Arcosian race itself. Seeing this, he felt a sense of responsibility to showcase the innate greatness that his race possessed through himself, and thus took such an assignment to work alongside Froma with great zeal.
And so, this was precisely why he and his group of carefully selected men now found themselves deep within the glacial plains of the Bitter Poles this midday- no one daring to utter a word of despondency or displeasure in relation to the day's training locale considering it had been ordered by Hibernal himself for them to train there, and any of whom that would go against Hibernal's word would be daring to go up against Polarus'- who at times was scarier than that of the superior himself.
"We shall station ourselves here for the time being," the impervious serviceman stated as the rest of his men now fell to the snowy ground with relieved looks upon their faces. They had taken quite the trek in order to get here, and seeing as the heavy weather disallowed the usage of flight the majority of the time, the group was understandably slightly spent.
He hoped the slight respite would grant them enough of a time out in order to ensure they would be prepared to continue onward with the training session with Froma's group, who he assumed would be making their appearance somewhere around this time. They had decided upon meeting at this specific location within the Bitter Poles as it happened to be positioned a few klicks off of a isolated military outpost that belonged to the Hibernal military, which is where they would be training for the time they had together.
It wouldn't be hard to spot out Polarus and his men, seeing as it was most definitely hard to not see Polarus himself. As he had chosen to take upon his Monster form for the travels they had undergone in order to help maintain a steady body temperature through his greatened muscle mass. His fearsome fortuitous physical form stood at about eight feet and a half, and so he acted akin to that of a pillar within the Bitter Poles for Froma and her group to lock onto.
His eyes watched the skies, gaze narrowing as he waited, waited for the famous Lady Froma to make her acquaintance personally with the Winter Wall of the Hibernal force.
