Shinjin

APPEARANCE: Shinjin are very similar in appearance to humans, aside from the more broad variations in skin tone. Depending on their rank and class, a Shinjin can either be incredibly tall or comically short. However, while genderless, Shinjin can take after and identify as males or females as they please.

BACKGROUND: Since even before time itself, Shinjin have been born from magical fruits that grow off of the ‘Kaiju’ or World Tree, gigantic magical trees found on the Shinjin's home planet in Otherworld. Most fruits create more natural Shinjin that watch certain galaxies, while golden fruits* create more capable and powerful members of the species that watch over the universe. These high-ranking entities are ageless and can live for about 4,000 years, unless they are killed by another one way or another. They usually live leisurely lives in the Otherworld, watching over the mortals, though some occasions may call for their presence in the living world. The occasional ‘rotten fruit’ creates usually malevolent Shinjin that are often cast aside into the Demon Realm.
* Though they exist, golden fruit Shinjin are not available for players to make

Age Ranges: Shinjin tend to be 'born' adults though it is not rare for newly created Shinjin to require a few years to even decades to mature properly often a result of their fruit falling before it has fully ripened. The 'lesser' Kaio tend to live around 1,000 Years aging slowly as they do while full Shinjin live up to 3,000 to 4,000 years or at least it is generally believed so.

CORE TRAITS

MYSTIC ARTS You can heal with your magical abilities. Twice per thread but once per turn, as your Attack Action, you may spend 2 KP to heal yourself or an ally for 60% HP. You may choose to increase the healing effect by 10% for every 2 MP spent, up to a max of 30% additional healing. If you heal at least 50% with the use of this trait, you also cleanse a negative status effect not afflicted by other Traits or Super Items. This heals for your BASE PL value against the target's Base PL.

KAI KAI Once per month, you may travel instantaneously from one planet to another with up to 5 others. This also provides a free 70% evasive defense technique, usable once per thread, that is boost-able. You can also post freely in the Otherworld boards even if you are not dead.

OPTION TRAITS

STALWART While in your strongest available form, you may activate 10% MP Power Boosts on all of your Defense Techniques for free. This halts your momentum regeneration for that turn. However, you may not use any Power or Ki Boosts on attack techniques with your MP in your strongest available form.

CREATOR You may, at any point, create up to two unique consumable items. These can be duplicates, and do not take up an item slot. Duplicates may be consumed by the same character twice. They disappear at the end of the thread if unused. The items can not be gifted or used on a character if you are under 60% of their PL. The options are as follows: ENSENJI SLICE: Heal for 20%. KAI TEA: Gain 3 MP. WORLD LEAF: Gain 1 KP.
