A Fake In The Forests?
Lu Rose - Earthling - 5,000 PL
6/6 KP - 0/6 MP - Base Form
It had felt like a year to get to it, but the weekend was finally here! All across earth, kids and adults woke up to the best sensation of no obligation. After an enduring week of studying long division and whoever the heckin’ heck invented the crossbow was, it was time to waste away the hours and find some new adventure. When Lu had woken up, she had originally thought of finally beating Large Guy 6, taking her one step closer to beating the Large Guy collection series, but just as her paw touched the controller of her Swap, Lu’s mother walked in with a telephone. “I think you’ll want to hear this, little hero!” Said the older bunny, tossing the phone as gently as she could to her daughter.
Putting the ear to her phone, Lu gave a big smile and opened the call with a “Hello schmello, you’ve reached Lulu!” The voice on the other side was very familiar to her, a friend she often paired with in science class for work, Reece. He was a human and a big fan of Lu’s hero work. If he was calling, it was usually to hype her up for something big she did or some hero was making a public appearance. “Lu! Lu! You’re not gonna believe this! You made the news!” Reece proclaimed, loud enough to force the bunny to remove herself from the phone. “The news? Oh! Was it about the spaceship? Or the robbers?” Lu tried, digging for any additional information. “No, they saw you going some butt kicking in the East! It was odd, they said you were wearing a lot of red and had a real sword, but in the picture they provided for the hero’s face, it was no doubt those were your ears!”
Reece would blabber on and on to no stop about how cool it was that Lu has done so much work in the East while still living in Central, but Lu immediately that couldn’t have been right. Lu knew without a doubt that she hadn’t been to East City since her family vacation last month. If there was a bunny hero in the East, it wasn’t her… So who was this new bunny on the block? “Hey Reece?” Lu interrupted the boy, cutting off his speech about Lu’s new sword magic. “Where did you say my last patrol was?” Reece, taking on a matter-of-fact tone, happily replied with “Mount Paozu. Why? I thought you made sure to remember these things?” “Hold on, I wanna go investigate something.” The young hero put the phone aside and pressed the button for speaker phone, allowing for Lu to pack a small bag of snacks, waters, a change of clothes, and, of course, her sword. Before Lu set out for her next adventure, she promised Reese to fill him in when she got home and told her parents she was going on a patrol, in which she received her usual hug and nose nuzzle before heading out.
Getting to Mount Paozu was no easy feature, even for Lu. Some had to hike up the perilous mountain, others could simply just fly, but Lu was cursed with the inability to use that “key” stuff the fighters used and she was too impatient to walk the trail like a normal person would, so the child ran to and fro all throughout the forest until her legs gave out. When it came to the point, it came time to take a break. Luckily, Lu already knew she was prone to pulling off extreme moves like this, so with no success in fighting the other bunny fighter, it was time to refuel on pretzel sticks, peanut butter and lemonade flavored water. It wasn’t the smartest move to be eating peanut butter in the forest when almost every creature with a sharp nose could smell it from a mile, but coupled with the hours of running through the forest, creating dust clouds behind her from her sloppy running and occasional tripping on untied shoelaces, it was almost as if she was trying to call attention to herself.
