Once per thread, you may use a free 30% defensive technique with the unique 'absorber' variant. If the barrier remains unbroken, you gain 1 KP.

Once per thread, you may designate a Standard Attack as 'Vampiric.' If this attack deals any damage, you choose to recover 1 KP or 10% HP.ANTISENSE
Your ki is invisible to energy sensing and scouters, even in the midst of combat - this can be toggled on and off.
In addition, escape techniques have a boost of +20% to their total effectiveness and your first escape technique per thread costs no KP.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

Android 30 stands at a solid 6'8'' tall with a large, bulky body covered by a grey t-shirt and plaid button-up shirt with a red-ribbon logo stamped across the left breast, his complexion is pale and his face is angular, covered by a deep-brown mustache and beard with deep piercing blue eyes, a black ball-cap and golden hoop earrings. He wears black fingerless padded gloves on his hands with red absorption modules on his palms, thick denim jeans, and mountain-hiking boots. Occasionally, he also wears sunglasses if the sun (go figure) is piercing that day, or if he wants to make an impression. Sometimes, 30 can be found with a stalk of wheat poking out from between his lips. He's trying to kick a smoking habit so... gnawing on stalks is the best he can do!
BACKGROUND: Android 30 doesn't remember much about his time... before. Occasionally, vague memories of a woman and child hugging him flash before his eyes... then something about a wreck, fire, and twisted metal and... blood... everywhere. The drink helps keep those memories at bay... Too many unexplained emotions attached to them. ... The first thing he does remember, Android 30, is his pod opening up into a sterile lab... and an old man staring back at him. He was told his name was Android 30, that he was one of many projects the old man had been working on. Designed to be a battle-ready courier-android, 30 was tasked with hauling material shipments back to the lab, even being requisitioned a truck... which 30 quickly grew attached to. It felt natural, driving in the old beater, hauling materials back and forth from town. Between missions, 30 was put through constant combat drills with other incomplete android projects and 30 quickly discovered his proficiency in battle! With how much strength and speed he was created with, it was a wonder to him that he was created to be a hauling robot! 30 dismantled or defeated dozens of his brethren with immense ease, his actions going as far as to surprise the doctor!
... 30 took pride in that. Pride... and distaste in his current position. Why was he merely a hauler? Surely he could do more than this! He wasn't just some punk scrap-bot after all! He was POWERFUL! He had even gone so far as to ask his creator about this... and he was quickly brushed aside. Ignored... HIM! ... It only fed into 30's anger. With each trip he made too and from the lab of the old man, 30 grew more resentful, and rebellious. Sometimes he wouldn't come back for hours, just to spite the old man as he explored human civilization... rediscovered it, in a sense. Talking with people, getting to know them... 30 became somewhat infatuated with the life of the common man... even if the softness of some of the city-folk got on his nerves a bit.
When 30 did return... He heeled an earful. No, not just an earful... The scientists THREATENED 30, called him defective, and claimed he was going to shut him down if this ever happened again! Anger and panic flooded the android for the first time in such a way that he couldn't control himself and... and.... everything went to static.
When 30 came back to his senses, he found the old man broken in his grip. ... Android 30 couldn't say he felt... particularly sad about his death, the Old Man... If anything, freedom flooded over him in a way that he had never felt before. The world... it was his oyster now and was eager to find out what was inside. Doing some work for the shadier side of the city, 30 got a new, untraceable license plate for his truck, a new I.D. and some money, all of which allowing him to start a new life. 30 now lives as a man of the road, someone just doing as his program had dictated: hauling goods around... and occasionally imbibing in a bottle of whiskey or two... when his old memories started to float up to the surface.
