Barracuda had thought about going to the Orin Temple to study among the monks, and maybe one day he still would, but he had heard that someone was trying to take it over and he couldn't be bothered with the extra distractions. Part of him wanted to crash the party and place his blade to any intruders, but it just wasn't the time for that. He was looking for a deeper connection with Source, looking for answers as to what the universe wanted him to do next.
Since coming to Earth he had made alliances and enemies, but he felt his progression was reaching a standstill. What was the journey he was truly meant to be on? What was he sent to this planet to truly accomplish? It felt like all he had been doing lately was meandering. "Life isn't the same without a mission," he thought to himself. Barracuda wondered what Earth was going to teach him next. Who was he to teach or learn from?
Barracuda had found his way to Mount Five Element in the Western Wilds. He had heard this was a sacred mountain filled with magic and illusions. "Right up my alley," he thought. Rumors always swirled about a "mythical construct" within the body of the mountain. Maybe Cuda would see for himself. Either way, he was lost and he hoped a pilgrimage could open his eyes as to what his purpose was.
He opted to climb up the mountain by hand, walking up the trails instead of utilizing his ability for flight. Today was a day to grow his resistance and build his strength -- another analysis of his discipline. After a while, he reached a plateau, a rocky cliff covered with moss and inhabited by some small bugs and aloof animals.
"I think I'll take a break for a moment here," he said -- placing his sword down on the ground before kneeling to rest, and removing his satchel. The atmosphere looked insane from the mountain, and the colors of the sky were mesmerizing.
