Giant Donuts On The Road (But Not Directly Because Of Cars) Apr 24, 2023 7:15:34 GMT -5

This was a strange day, Nervan had been given a comically large plate by their friend Prophos, who had magically conjured it after reading a prophecy from his mystical tome. It was one of the more goofy things that the book had said, but since it was so ridiculous, the pair decided to indulge in it.
Basically, the tome had said that a giant donut the size of a car tire would appear out of nowhere on one of the highways in the Easter Pastures. So, while Budoshi and Illuma were both busy with something, Prophos asked Nervan to check it out while he too went to do something on his own as well.
This is what would lead Nervan to their wandering off to the the side of a largely empty and quiet highway that crossed a large section of the Eastern Pastures. At this time of day the road was largely unused, save for the odd car, but so far no such thing had occurred whilst Nervan was shuffling along.
In fact, Nervan wondered if there was a car on either side that had just entered the highway, and how long it would take for it to pass them. The funniest part was that it wouldn’t take long at all. Distracted by a gecko scurrying by, Nervan wouldn’t see a truck speed past before it was already zooming towards the horizon. However, there was a pothole in the way that jostled the vehicle’s cargo, launching something upward into the sky that Nervan didn’t seem to notice since they were more interested with the gecko they had seen.
Once the gecko was out of sight, Nervan continued on their merry way, only to suddenly (and comically) get whacked in the back of the head by what was thrown from the truck— a huge donut. This caused Nervan to tilt over weirdly, gently dropping the plate they were carrying behind them, which the donut perfectly landed on.
After rubbing the back of their head, Nervan swivelled around to see the donut on the plate. “Hm.” Some things never ceased to amaze.
