Apexle gave a heavy sigh of relief as he managed to land safely on the outskirts of a small Konatian village. He wanted so badly to just sleep right away, however every instinct told him to check his surroundings, and as suck the pods door began to raise. The young Tufyan slowly pulled himself out to see a lively forest around himself. Luckily for the young warrior the area for the most part wasn't inhabited by large man eating beasts. His body and mind now at ease he slowly tried to step towards his space pod in hopes of taking a much needed rest.
The Tufyan, however only managed to take a single step forward before falling to his knees. "Agh" Apexle cried as his right hand gripped his cloak right above his heart as his muscles began to spasm sending waves of pain over his whole body. "Stop Stop Stop" Apexle repeated. His body felt like it was on fire as drops of crimson began to slam against the ground under his face.
His eyes widened as his left hand moved towards his top lip rubbing it as the crimson liquid lathered itself onto his finger. "My-" Apexle began as he felt himself drifting to sleep slouching to the dirt as his consciousness faded.
As his eyes finally closed Apexle's body felt unfathomable pressure that felt like it was crushing him from all sides. As the Tufyan attempted to breath a burning pain filled his lungs as if he was being drowned. Soon his body seemed to fall endlessly into a black sludge like liquid.
The further he fell the stronger the pressure pushing out every last breath he had before finally he landed on his back onto a brightly lit platform. Still unable to move or even breath. His endless struggle to move seemed to cause a fit of laughter from in front of himself.
He was honestly surprised he hadn't seen the figure before himself, however as he saw it his eyes widened. It was as if he was looking into an inverted version of himself. A man with was bound to a chair by black chains that seemed to emanate a familiar substance.
The figure had pitch black skin and hair as white as the clouds in the sky. A sickening almost demonic smile constantly hung upon his lips as he began to speak. "Hey there~" The voice called with a chilling tone that seemed to echo around them. "What's wrong you can't think your way out of this mess can you" The man said said with a disgusted tone. "I expected as much" The voice said with a sickening laugh. The laugh was powerful enough to shock the ground sending the pressure that had once silenced Apexle away.
"What th-" Apexle began as he began having a fit of coughing as the pressure came back stronger than ever silencing him. Suddenly the pressure seemed to change into a physical form. A toxic purple and black sludge began growing on Apexle causing his body to be bound and his breath once again became a struggle whisper of air.
"What's wrong?" The voice said again. "You can't get comfortable in my prison either can you?" The figure said as his tongue slipped across his lips eyeing Apexle as if he was some sort of five course meal. "Give it a bit and it might get bearable, or maybe it wont" The voice said in a much colder and unimpressed tone. "I'm surprised. I didn't expect to be able to drag you inside here so soon after you released the first seal" The figure admitted with a voice filled with enjoyment.
Apexle struggled to speak, however a few muffle words left his lips. "Where. Am. I." Was all he could manage at the moment which caused another laughing fit from the figure. His posture slightly shifting as one of the chains fell from his right hand.
"Good question" The voice spoke back. "Well since you seem to think yourself as some sort of smart ass why don't you tell me where we are" The voice said with a cold expecting tone. The cruel smile over his face still shining brightly as he attempted to lean forward before being smashed back into the chain with great force by the black chain.
"Don't. Play. With. Me" Apexle managed to get out with raspy breaths. 'This guy. He's not normal' Apexle thought to himself thinking it would be safe, however much to his dismay they weren't. Suddenly the thoughts he had began to echo around them like they were on a speaker.
"Heh" The figure said cocking his head to the side. "You don't know huh? You don't notice something familiar about me?" The voice said as the black veil over his face began to pull back as if slime was being removed. The figure's face resembled Apexle's own. There were a few differences. Firstly his bright blue eyes were brown, and his skin was tanned ever so slightly. "Take a look at me and ask that again" The figure said with a threatening tone.
"M-Me?" Apexle managed to get out before realizing his thoughts were a superior form of communication. 'So is this you telling me to accept myself? If s-" Apexle began before the figure's eyes widened and a wave of darkness escaped the figure forcing the slime over Apexle to tighten silencing his thoughts.
"Did you think that was it?" The voice replied as he began to laugh hysterically at the thought. "YOU REALLY THINK I NEED SOMEONE AS PATHETIC AS YOU TO ACCEPT ME!" The voice called as he attempted to leave his chair before being slammed back down. "A MAN WHO JUST A FEW DAYS AGO TOLD OFF OTHERS FOR BEING COWARDS AND THEN HIMSELF BECAME A COWARD" The voice screamed at the top of his lungs.
Apexle's skin and blood ran cold as the figure spoke. He couldn't speak. It felt like a lump of hot coal was lodged into his throat. He knew if that man managed to leave the chair he'd be massacred right then and there. 'Then what do you want' Apexle thought as it once again echoed around the area.
"Ha" The figure couldn't help but laugh. "I want for nothing. I need for nothing. I'll reap my reward in time. After all" The figure began as his right hand tore a restraint from the chair throwing it towards Apexle letting the chain slam in front of him.
As the chain came closer to Apexle he noticed a familiar mark dotting up and down the chain. It was the same mark on his bodies to restrain his strength. 'w-what the hell' Apexle thought as the sweat began to pour down his forehead. 'IF YOU DIDN'T NEED ANYTHING WHY AM I HERE' Apexle thought basically screaming inside of his head sending the same tone outwards.
The figure seemed unmoved by the fit of Apexle, however he cocked his head. "I figured you'd like to see your future home" The figure said with a crueler tone than ever. "After all you can't escape it. You'll need power, and when your lust for that power to overcome your future foes" The voices tone was smooth and serene. Not an ounce of lies hidden within his words was shown. "The more you'll release those seals the closer I am from coming out, and when I do" The figure said as a projection shot up from the ground.
The first to be shown was Apexle covered in a thick layer of black aura with his hand piercing all the way through Crotona. A sorrowful look on her face before the image changed. Apexle was was now kicking a neon green ball around, however as he looked closer he could tell the ball was instead Striker's head completely severed from her corpse.
Suddenly Apexle felt sick to his stomach puking out everything he'd eaten on Namek, however as he looked down the once eaten food began to wiggle and rive as Apexle forced himself to his knees scurrying back in fear his hands clenching the side of his head as his knees clenched tightly to his elbows. A deep fear overcoming his body as his sweat ran cold.
"What's wrong" The figure said coldly. "You look like you've already given up" The figure said with another sickening laugh. "Don't break yet. I'm still not done giving you a show" The figure said as the projection changed.
This time it was Apexle sitting atop a ruined city. Apexle was easily able to tell the rubble apart from other places. The once lit up neon lights were now dead and out of power. The bustling city of Lux was smashed into nothing under the monster's feet.
"W-Why" Apexle asked bluntly. His words coated in fear as the figure's head twitched and cocked to the side.
"Why?" The figure asked as his eyes seemed to soften. "Because unlike you I dont like heroes" The voice said bluntly. "That's why I plan to rip off their wings before they can take flight" The voice said leaning forward and standing. The chain's trying and failing to pull him back. "That's their fate anyways. When a hero fulfills his job he's useless. When they become useless they'll feel used and discarded" The figure said as he moved in front of Apexle crouching down as his right hand slithered under Apexle's chin lifting it. "They'll become like us. Drifting and falling down a hole of self destruction and hate. They'll hate the world they were born into eventually. That's why I think it's more humane to put them down before they even get the chance to suffer" The voice said before the chain violently shook and pulled the figure back into the chair.
'You're wrong' Apexle thought. 'There's no way I'd accept that' Apexle thought in anger. 'If that's the case... I'll do what Gandigan did. I'll find a cure for you' Apexle though with a hateful look towards the figure.
The figure seemed to be amused by the sudden display of strength that Apexle had shown. "You silly child" The figure said with an almost compassionate tone. "Gandigan had a parasite, but I'm not like that. I'm not a curse either. I'm no monster created in the pits of hell' The figure clarified. "You can't cure me, because I'm you. Or rather the part of you that you so coldly threw away, but still have the audacity to use like I was a tool" The figure added. "I'm the thirty percent of you that craves violence. The thirty percent that wants to conquer. The thirty percent that makes you better than everyone else" The voice said giving a pause for Apexle to speak.
'So the DNA of those filt-' Apexle began before the figure put up his hand immediately silencing the youth.
"That filth you're talking about were specimen from the strongest of Saiyans that fell on the battlefield. It is also the same DNA that let you live up until now. Whether you like it or not that same DNA will consume you, and I will be released. I will have my day in the sun and fun in the blood of any hero you meet" The figure specified as the space around them began to shake and melt. "Well it seems our time is up. I'll find you once more when you release the next seal, and when I do I'll be strangling that self righteous throat of yours while you're here" The figure said with a final cold and unsettling way.
As the figure faded and the space grew dark Apexle's eyes opened wide as he launched himself from the ground with his head whipping around still in a cold sweat. He slowly pushed himself into his space pod with raspy breaths he could barely manage his thoughts. 'If I get stronger... Everyone dies... If I don't then I'll die?' Apexle thought to himself happy his thoughts didn't leak out as he leaned against the back of the seat in his space pod. 'Maybe I should just avoid everyone. Maybe that's the only way to protect everyone' Apexle thought to himself as exhaustion over came his body and the door to his pod closed finally giving the Tufyan a moment of peace to sleep.
