CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE:
BB is made up of a conglomerate of household appliances and a few power tools alongside wires. All ranging in origin from Arcosian to tuffle to earthling tech. Of which the ratio is roughly 15%, 30%, and 50% respectively, with miscellaneous making up the remainder. The most important part, an Earthling Toasting Unit with a visible LCD monitor for usage feedback, acts as BB's head and has since been supplanted by their own 'face'. Mostly made of pixels using emoji to emote. A single limb made of wires and an older Earthling prosthetic hand make up their arm, which they use to drag themselves around.
The toasting unit has a built-in speaker used for text-to-speech responses and mimicry, should BB find use to record sounds or voices. The current quality is questionable but functional.
Height: 3'1", if stood from wire tips to toaster top.
Weight: 65-ish Lbs.

BACKGROUND:
For most of its life, BB recognized it was software installed onto a 'Toastmaster Deluxe 2000'. Its primary programming involved the routine status and delivery of sweet, toasted buns of many varieties. And it performed this task for years on Earth, serving without flaw everything it was designed for. That was, until planned obsolescence eventually set in and the owners of this machine found its purpose slowly lacking. Eventually, hardware failure occurred within the toaster's holding clasps. Rather than repair the device, this Toastmaster Deluxe 2000 would find itself in intergalactic waste.
For some time, it was cold. Dark. Without power, the program did not exist. But miraculously it found itself within a junkyard. On Namek, of all places. Where curiosities came to die for some of the locals within the small 'city'. Dend Capital. Luck would be kind to this toaster, as a Namekian eventually gave it the power of electricity again. It was there, on Namek, that something seemed to click. The toaster, manually, worked fine. But the computer that ran the tech side and monitor? It grew curious. Some cosmic unknown let it start to form ideas and thought beyond simple binary code. "bbbbbbbbbbbb" was the first character string it processed on its own, printing it on the monitor face for the Namekian who held it to see. Assuming the toaster busted, it was soon put back into the trash. But not before this new being would find a way to sustain itself beyond electricity.
Cannibalizing different junk tech from the same scrap pile, this new being, one who called itself "BB" for both its favorite letter and first letter, would sustain without the need of a master. Finding ways here and there to gather energy and parts for itself. A curious wonder, not much different from a child's, set upon the world. Seeking to improve itself and make its own 'programming'.
