The midnight sky high above the Berri Forest came and went, and the coming of the crack of dawn woke Dion up with a start. Stifling a yawn, the young man stared upwards through the canopies overhead, taking note of the quickly brightening morning sun peeking through a cover of puffy white clouds.
Had he spent the entire night mucking about in the thicket? The still somewhat sleepy Saiyan couldn't believe it. But, considering what he had to deal with the night beforehand, Dion supposed it made sense. While not inherently meaning to cause any discord, the appearance of the Shinjin, yet not Shinjin being Nervan gave the anxiety ridden bartender quite the scare. It was nearly enough to send him into another panic attack, but thankfully, with Nervan's help, he was able to pull himself back from the brink.
Following that, seeing as the two really had nowhere to go, one thing led to another, and eventually Dion had yet another intriguing conversation with an unfamiliar face on his hands. Dion found it amazing, how one could lose track of time so easily with an ample companion in their company. Nervan was quite a fascinating being, and it wasn't hard for Dion to find things to pick his brain about considering his anomalous existence in the first place.
Still, no matter how interesting the intimate, time went onwards, and after Nervan took their leave, the sweet embrace of sleep quickly took the unsuspecting Saiyan.
And now he was here. Somewhat bedraggled, somewhat disoriented, and very much aching for something to eat. Raking a hand through his matted bed hair, Dion started to look around as soon as the rumble of his stomach became audible enough to echo, eyeing down the bushes and the shrubbery hoping to find something to eat.
Getting up with a sigh, the now peckish Saiyan walked in search of something to fill his stomach.
Unbeknownst to him, he was about to get a lot more piled onto his plate.
