The currently hooded Saiyan's face glistened in the heightened, midday sun- beads of sweat falling off of the bartender's visage as he held a hand up against the great ball of fire currently obscuring a good amount of his vision.
Dion believed there to be some type of cruel joke to be at play here, with him acting as the unfortunate punchline. Apparently, however, someone didn't tell Lady Fate that comedy came in threes, and that the comedic nature of his continued failure to find some time for concentrated contemplation had run its course.
Because it KEPT, ON, HAPPENING! Not that he was angry at the opportunity to catch up with some of the individuals that he so happened to bump into in light of his search for a place of solace and solitude- in fact, Dion wasn't entirely sure if it could have worked out better when it came to seeing people like Nasu and Jagaimo again after such a long time apart, and having the chance to meet new faces like Zoki and Parii (yes, even Parii) were refreshingly new experiences to add to the repetoire. But at the very least, couldn't have these opportunities come after he was able to regroup and reflect?
Of course, Dion knew the answer was no- life ever rarely worked out to be so convenient. His past and present were a steady tribute to such a philosophy. So, even though he was practically dying at this point to grab some alone time, Dion was at least glad he got to spend his time back from across the stars with the people who made him want to return in the first place.
Now, however, it finally seemed as though the young man would get what he was looking for. Looking around, as though expecting someone else that he just so happened to know or knew in the past to come crawling out behind a tumbleweed or something, Dion silently confirmed that he was finally in the clear- in an area nearly devoid of anything that could come to bother him and his company of one.
Sitting down, the worn out warrior breathed a sigh of relief, at long last grasping the moment to meditate on what he's experienced...
...Until an awful howl of something entering the upper atmosphere burst into the normally empty wasteland air around him. Jolting upwards at the sound, Dion's shocked eyes shot upwards as he watched what looked to be a classic Saiyan space pod soar into the airspace directly above his immediate position.
Sighing in a much more tired manner now, Dion did a few dash-steps backwards, throwing his arms upward in a defensive posture as the ship crash landed into the spot he was just in a few yards away from him- the dust and debris bouncing mostly harmlessly off of the tired looking youth.
Tired as he was though, there could be someone in trouble in that space pod, and Dion wouldn't just turn a blind eye to someone in need. If he did that the last time someone in a space pod needed him, he wouldn't be standing here right now.
Making his way into the crater left by the pod, a much more concerned expression bloomed onto the originally fatigued face he had initially. Calling out, Dion cupped his hands around his mouth to help compound the sound, asking,
"You okay in there stranger? You need any help?"
