No matter how hard he ran from it, history always had a way of catching up with him.
As Dion continued his walk through the streets of Hatchi City, the young man couldn't help but muse on what he and Nasu had discussed during their timely reunion. While what they spoke about did wonders for his mental well-being, it would take much more than a conversation or two, no matter how well-intended, to pull off the heavy boots that the young man heaved as he stepped. The cloud of regret and guilt still hanging over him like a heavy, hazy mist. Nasu's words only worked as a lighthouse in his mental storm, a light that Dion needed to work toward himself. And at the present moment, he wasn't sure if he had the strength to just yet.
Walking onward into the city, he had to admit, while there wasn't anything like the home beaches of Papaya Island, the sleek and modernized atmosphere Hatchi City was always an interesting change of pace. The bright and colorful lights and gadgets glittered all around him like an artificial night sky, right below the darkening one overhead. The well-kept air that the city held with its mechanical marvels still worked as one of its greatest charms.
A light rain began to pass over, causing Dion to pull up his collar a bit tighter around his neck as he started to pass through more familiar territory- and before he knew it, the bartender found himself in the very same park-like area he had been all those months ago.
Finding the very same bench he sat upon way back when, the exasperated Saiyan took a seat, breathing a heavy sigh. Quite a lot had transpired since the last time he was here, and yet many things still appeared to stay the same as well. Folding his hands into each other's, the young man leaned forward, elbows anchored on his knees as he began to lose himself in thought.
Unaware of how much of a Deja Vu moment he was about to have in a few seconds.
