"Lux? Sure thing! I've been once or twice." Literally twice, actually. First time she had met Delia, second was Salvo. Maybe that city was a secret good luck charm for finding people she liked? Even if it wasn't, Jinx liked the high-tech city more than Nasibu or Vynh. Beyond the higher living standards - if you ignored the poor slums entirely - it was also host to a lot more colorful aliens beyond the pointy-eared Konatsians. Something to do with it being technically an independent city-state and large amounts of foreign interests keeping it as a melting pot of people and ideas.
The Majin caught the phone, smiling sheepishly. "I'll just have to memorize your number. I don't actually HAVE a phone right now... planned on getting one when I went back to Lux! So no worries about spam calls or anything, haha." Keeping a phone with her at all times wasn't practical. Even her shortest naps meant that the service would get discontinued or taken over by a rival company slash merger, which meant she was carrying out outdated hardware AND software. Jinx stared INTENTLY at Striker's offered phone for a few seconds before handing it back with a nod. "OK! I got it now. It'll be one of the first contacts I punch in when I get my new toy!"
Jinx blinked, and before they knew it, they'd reached the edge of the city. "Y'know, if we're both going back to Lux anyway... wanna go together? If you're feeling up for it, that is!"
Striker would watch as Jinx just stared at the phone. Contemplating on where she would have been in such a large city like Lux. Twice or so. And still not be super aware of greeting, like when they first met here. She made a promise to make Striker her first contact on a phone she WOULD be getting and just handed it back. The green fuzzball shrugs and pockets her own phone back.
"Sounds good to me. Just, tell me who you are when you text. It doesn't show it on my end if you just say 'hiiiiiii!~', it just gives me a number." With that understanding out of the way, the pair were quick to get to the edge of the city. Undisturbed by the likes of any void creatures. In fact, a lot of them seemed to be scrambling, not paying them any mind on their way out. Striker paused and checked the pack on her shoulder for a moment for any tears before nodding and giving Jinx a look. If she was going to just come to Lux anyways... Why not, right? She didn't need to report back to anyone but the city right now, and that wasn't confidential.
