CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE:
Budoshi is 4’6”/140cm. As a Tuffle, Budoshi is not super tall, but even though he is small in stature, he is overflowing with spirit, vim and vigor. His teal hair is short, with two large bangs, and is otherwise windswept. His eyes are a mixture of pastel pink, purple and blue. Usually he is seen with a dopey grin plastered on his face for one reason or another. Budoshi has a few outfits, for example a more casual outfit for him would be a t-shirt with some silly meme on it, jean shorts and light up sneakers. A lot of the time however, he is seen in his own martial arts ensemble that he fashioned himself as a show of his fighting spirit. It is greyscale with some blue accents and otherwise resembles a standard martial arts gi with several alterations such as only going over one shoulder, having long frills on the gi’s top, and a symbol resembling a bat on the back of it.
BACKGROUND:
Born in a Tuffle colony in the outer reaches of the Northern Galaxy, Budoshi is descended from the first Tuffles that discovered and performed successful space travel many many generations ago— perhaps hilariously, his ancestors were the ones known as ‘Those Closer To The Skies’ in ancient Tuffle language, though in truth that is just a long winded way of saying ‘the tall fellas’.
In any case, Budoshi is a strange one compared to most or really other Tuffles. See, Budoshi isn’t some kind of scientific revolutionary or high tier academic genius. In fact, by Tuffle society standards, he’s far below average in the intellect department. He just never got into the whole ‘big brain nerdy dingus stuff’ as he would typically put it.
No, for Budoshi, he had nothing to offer nor gain from all that stuff. Instead, his focus was put on improving what he did know, that which came oh so naturally to him— his body, his muscles, his strength. He always felt great when he was out and about on adventures or even playing silly games with others as a youth— such as tag, hide n go seek, that sort of thing. Sadly however, he was left behind by basically all of his peers who got into sciences and academics and as much as that hurt him, Budoshi wasn’t going to wallow in sadness.
He could prove that his learning and continued self improvement was valuable, he had to. If all these other dorks were so stuck on scientific experiments and viable results, he would show them results. He didn’t need any of that fancy technology, none of those guns, armors, drones or tools, none of it! He would become just as potent as any gun, as strong as any armor, as tactical as any drone and as versatile as any tool.
Budoshi was going to become a warrior.

COMBAT INFORMATION
TECHNIQUES:
|| Defense || Medium || Sensational SpiritADDITIONAL NOTES: I’d like to rename the starting transformation to Fighting Chance please and thanks!
Budoshi takes a solid defensive fighting stance that allows the flow of his energy to react in such a way that protects him from harm, and should this defensive stance and its flow be overwhelmed, if he himself is reasonably stronger than what remains of the attack that overcame this technique, damage done to him is considerably reduced.
Power: 30%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: Shield
|| Offense || Medium || Wonder Magnum
Budoshi gathers energy from within himself and also attracts some ambient energy from his surroundings into and through his body. Ultimately it condenses to a singular point, at which point Budoshi rushes towards an opponent, delivering some measure of physical strike or close range blast full of his fighting soul! Whether it is a physical strike or blast, it causes a sparkly ripple effect that seems to linger on the battlefield. If this technique causes enough damage it both empowers the next technique of a chosen ally and weakens the next technique of the target.
Power: 40%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: Inspiring, Exhausting
|| Offense || Medium || Vivid Reverie
Budoshi charges energy up and shapes it within his hands where it becomes densely packed, it shimmers and electricity crackles around it before he fires it as a pastel purple-pink energy beam at his opponent. This energy beam— since it is so densely packed together— cannot be dissipated or neutralized by an attack of relatively equal force and intensity.
Power: 60%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: Overflowing
|| Offense || Medium Sparking || Wildest Dreams → Miracle Impact
Budoshi empowers his aura to the highest output and capacity that he can manage, converting it into a vast array of continuous pastel purple laser beams that are blasted at his opponent, bombarding them. Budoshi also charges a more powerful version of his Vivid Reverie and fires it at his opponent as well, further enhancing the force and impact of the whole combination technique. If Budoshi is the winner in the clash of this technique and another, he lets out a roar that overcharges the continuous laser beams, and while the opponent is stuck dealing with those, Budoshi rushes in for one last strike, as if he was performing his Wonder Magnum.
Power: 80%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: Overflowing, Overflowing+
Utility Technique || Battle Brain
Budoshi has trained his physical body to excel beyond the limitations of regular Tuffles, so if he has enough adrenaline, he is capable of some amazing feats! This technique allows Budoshi to reflavor any usage of the Arm Blaster, Battle Armor and Armor Lining items as stated above— though it obviously requires him to mechanically have the items.
Utility Technique || Escape Artist
With his years of study in martial arts, Budoshi has developed a technique that makes him incredibly hard to grab or grapple, as well as otherwise remain grabbed, grappled or restrained if he ends up in such a situation.
