Apexle wasn't able to get up in the air before making contact with the lava, though this Namekian didn't seem to have any care in the world for it. In fact, it swiped it's leg straight through the substance, throwing it up at the two of them. Gandigan quickly rushed out of the way, just narrowing escaping getting drenched. Apexle explained that he failed to stop the ritual, and that this was the result. It wasn't a demon at all, but some sort of super Namekian warrior.
It left Gandigan confused, as he couldn't figure out why those lesser demons would be helping the Mazoku. Was his first assumption mistaken? Could those have been Mazoku too, heavily mutated and modified? Or maybe the two groups were working together? And what about what Apexle said about the design of the tunnels? He had no idea how to put it all together, and no time to even try as the greater Namekian was rushing straight towards him.
The speed of this monster caught Gandigan off guard, slamming him into the wall and once again proving too much for the old structure to take. The two of them crushed the stone on their backs, being thrown into a room which had been almost entirely pitch black before. Now with the pouring in of light it revealed dozens of those smaller demon creatures from before, hanging upside down from the hoof in some sort of sleep. The noise and light however must have woken them up, as now they chaotically flying around in a mess.
He was probably lucky that they were disturbed like this, as if this creature had awoken them in the proper way they probably would have been on his side, but like this? They were just as much a danger to him as they were to Gandigan. He used the chaos to charge up an attack, firing an energy wave from his mouth which was aimed to slam into the Namekians head. After he had fired he called out to Apexle. "You've got to strike at him too; we'll need to take him down together!"
