The pieces were falling into place for Fukushu to take his place atop the Konatsian throne, but he wasn't ready to present himself to the people yet. The Konatsian people had no realize to love, or fear him at this point, so why should they accept him as their monarch? That's why the Heran had his people in place, slowly sowing fear into the fabric of Konatsian society. His men, disguised as civilians, were to immerse themselves among the people and let them know that Kamae was still to be feared. He wanted Dharatan to constantly be on their minds.
Only when the people were sufficiently riled up would he emerge from the shadows as their savior, and that would take some time. It had only been recently that Fukushu realized that this job wouldn't be as easy an he initially though, and thus he got to work trying to seek out whatever advantages he could. One important step to take would be modifying his appearance, as the Konatsians would likely be hesitant to accept a Heran as their king.
There was little he could do about changing his species, but he could try and make himself look more like a Konatsian King. With that in mind he ventured into Vynh under the cover of night, suppressed in power and silent in escort. Putting his new legs to use he entered an old library and searched through the tomes hoping to find something he could put to use. Konats didn't have any monarchs, at least not any more; in the past they did though, and that's what he was in search of.
He had no notion of what they looked like, or what sort of customs they practiced and so every little bit of information he could find was quickly hoovered up. At first sight of dawn the Heran came across something which perked his interest. He discovered a book which was so old it the pages nearly fell out as he flipped through them, and told a tale of a old, dead city which acted as the seat of the Konatsian Monarchy before Vynh was ever even settled.
It seemed like little more than a legend to the Heran, though this passage insisted on it's truth. Covertly tearing the page from it's bindings, Fukushu stuffed it into a pocket before making his leave. Analyzing the coordinates, he quickly came to realize that this would be more than a one person job, though with his men mostly busy he decided to take the opportunity to try and find some new allies, of which he was always in need of.
The Heran made his way over to the town center, quickly scribbling together a notice which gave away a few scant details. He explained that he was an an amateur archeologist who had discovered coordinates to a long lost artifact and was looking for assistance, including protection. He gave details to look for the Heran at a small bar located just outside of the city limits. He quietly pulled away all other papers before pinning his in the center of the notice board. From there he left, heading off in the direction of the bar he specified.
