If there was one thing that Megis had learnt as during his short time as a presidential candidate it was that campaigning was hard work, especially for someone which such a small staff. He wasn't really sure what he was expecting going into things, but he never knew just how hard it was to convince people that they should vote for him. Derry, for all of his faults, had done relatively well as president so far, and he'd have the incumbent benefit. It was an uphill battle to say the least.
But Megis tried to take that in stride. He was determined to get in the trenches and do the dirty work himself; he wanted the people to know that he was one of them, and not living in a fancy castle like some of the other candidates were. Megis took a stack of sheets when some basic information on them and began to walk through the streets of South City, handing out the fliers to whoever would take them, and even some to those who wouldn't.
After a good hour of this Megis took a short detour into a nearby bar, hoping for not only a drink but perhaps and opportunity to ingratiate himself to the local populace. Megis had made South City his new home, more or less, and was going to need the support of the city if he wanted any chance at winning the overall election. Upon stepping inside Megis could clap his hands, using his magic to produce several small cans of alcohol which he would pass around to the patrons of the relatively empty bar.
"Don't worry; they're on me." He said striding forward, stepping past those in his way to get to the front of the bar. He wanted everybody to have a good look at him before continuing. "As you may or may not have heard, there's a new presidential candidate in town, and his name is Megis." The Majin would take the remaining papers in his stack and clap once more, transporting them from his hands and onto the various tables within the bar. "Any questions?"
