Weeks ago Tomoma had entered a competition hosted by Orange Star academy. The competition was to write about the on goings and current population struggles of the Kaiju population. Although he hadn't opted into the class Tomoma had studied the bodily structure of the creatures and the differing natures they had. Although his studying was mostly done the year before in his private school it seemed that his knowledge had carried over quite well.
He easily scored the highest in the competition allowing him with the rare chance to view the Kaiju under the guidance and tutorage of one of Orange Academies finest professors. Although it was a bit strange for students to be able to visit Tomoma didn't mind. He needed a bit of a break away due to what had happened in South city. 'I need to make sure those creatures are contained' Tomoma thought to himself as his hands clenched the sides of his head.
It had been a few days since South City was invaded. The fact people had died wasn't a surprise due to the nature of the creature, however every time Tomoma thought of the event he remembered the single turning point. The poor blue haired man simply got touched on his chest, and yet his face and all the opening had suddenly and violently began pouring blood. Tomoma couldn't get the image out of his mind. Even if they won, and the least amount of lives had been lost he still couldn't help but feel absolutely useless in the group. He was by far the weakest link, and every time he thought of it anger welled inside of him.
*Beep Beep Beep*
The sound of his alarm awoke him to his surroundings. It was six in the morning, His body was slow as he dressed himself in his typical red blaze and undershirt. He never had to worry about his hair since it stayed the same anyways. So the youth slowly and quietly made his way outside his house. The humming of the Solar farm behind his house at work. It was providing a lot of the surrounding areas with power since the family had recently upgraded.
Tomoma's feet left the ground as he shot towards the sky. "Right they said that it'd be best to meet up at the center of West City right?" Tomoma muttered to himself landing in front of the center of West city. He gave a bit of a hum as it was just him there. The other participants seemed to have ditched the entire reward since it seemed it could only be done on a Saturday. "Sacrificing progress for sleep. I really am studying with kids" Tomoma complained out loud as he paced in waiting for the teacher to arrive.
