Based on what he said, then they probably wanted to create some sort of being that would cause problems. Them choosing him rather than any stronger Namekian wasn’t so strange, either. The advantage was that someone weaker would be easier to control, shape and mold. It happened on Hera, too. Some clans would take an average warrior, load him with hallucinogenic drugs and strength enhancers and let them loose in another tribe’s village at the dead of night. By the time the situation would be resolved, irreversible damage would have been suffered. Following that, they would benefit from this moment of vulnerability to launch a stronger offensive with their full power and seize control of the enemy village. He had heard rumors of it, but never experienced it himself. No enemy had ever breached their village’s defense.
“Power hungry maniacs would do everything to increase their military might and influence, so long as they remain in control.”
Gandigan was quick to point out how eager Dosu was that he kill those who had done harm to him. At the end of the day, he certainly didn’t care all that much. Still, he could relate to Gandigan in a certain way.
“I don’t care whether they live or die, but if I put myself in your shoes, now I would want them to die. What matters to me is that no one poses any threat to my physical integrity or the way I live and to a lesser degree, my people. You could’ve razed the entire planet that I would’ve still sat there, eating my fruits. I’m just saying that, if I were you, I would kill them.”
He finished his sentence with a shrug, highlighting the fact that there wasn’t really more to it than just that. He listened to the explanation as to why he needed to fight. That would explain it, surely. But now, there are even more mysteries surrounding the strange woman and this artifact. It was like an old legend being recited around a fire, but this time it was happening in real time! Talk about exciting!
Seeing Gandigan fall to the ground wiped the smile off Dosu’s face. He couldn’t fall just now! Not before he got to see what happened next. He put the Namekian so he would face up and stare at his stomach for a few seconds. It was because of that worm, wasn’t it?
“Oy, don’t do anything to him until after I see the rest of this story!”
Now, he didn’t want to remove the worm at first, but now that thing forced his hand. He would regenerate, after all. With a spear hand strike, Dosu would stab Gandigan in the stomach, rummage around his guts until he found something remotely resembling a worm before pulling it out, should it be even possible.
OOC: Dosu uses [Light Offensive] Ignorance (2KP, 40%) to play surgeon for a minute. That's 64'000 damage.
