Arid this desert was. It was scorching, so obviously, Kiba had enough of being under this damned sun. On a mere trek through the dry desert, the demon had found himself lost from his supposed friend, Nale, a woman who knew every nook and cranny of this shithole of a desert. However, no way she could be quite that great of a friend, since she lost Kiba. It never ceased to be hell on earth without the woman. From one hell to another, he could not quite catch a break.
Kiba merely wanted a bite to eat and a good nap. However, clearly, within this land, there was none of that to be found. If one were to lay their eyes unto the lost devil, they would notice his beat up body, seeming to have just finished a rough brawl. Indeed, Kiba had chased down a hefty dinosaur with good meat, which was how he even got lost to begin with.
It was a decent meal, but now the primal devil was hungry once more. A growl was to escape his belly, echoing within the great empty expanse of land. Kiba was to grow upset with his friend, curious why she had let him pursue that damned dinosaur. In a fit of rage, he was to kick and punch the desert soil with the utmost wrath behind each strike of his.
It was to stir up a dust cloud, and by the end of his fit, he was to be somewhat satisfied with the fury he had let out. However, the man was still starving none the less. Kiba was to step out of the dust cloud, his eyes filled with cold wrath. It was then as he was to step out of the dust cloud that a caravan with three men aboard were to come within view.
It lit up the eyes of the hungry devil, and soon enough, a smirk was to form on the face of the chaotic being. It seems like perhaps he may not starve after all. In a full on sprint, the devil was to come for that lone caravan, hoping the people on board had a bite to eat and could lend directions for Kiba.
It was at that moment that the men on the caravan were to catch wind of the demon rushing right for them, and were to panic. However, they were no mere desert traders, but rather, a band of desert bandits. Kiba smiled upon recognizing that these are bandits. If they were bandits, they must have plenty of food. Kiba was to roar out to them from the bottom of his stomach, his starving voice traveling far within this desert.
Kiba: "Oi~! You three, hand over the damn food!"
Said the devil, leaping toward the caravan hauled by horse.
[bandit]: "Fuck off devil, do you know who we a-!?"
A bandit shouted before being interrupted.
Kiba: "Shut up, like I care, now where's the goods!?"
A hungry devil was to yell as his fist met with the face of the bastard that dared to curse towards him, Kiba. In that very moment the other two bandits were to take up arms, unsheathing their short swords, prepared to cut this beast to pieces with not a shred of hesitation.
In the mines nearby, a few comrades of the band of bandits were to catch wind of the brawl that had just begun. It was difficult not to know a fight was occurring when you had a rowdy devil making a commotion. If one was to examine the scene, they would find that not far from the ruckus there was a mining site of blood rubies, with a band of people garbed within light black desert clothing covered with dirt.
It seems like they were busy here, and this demon that had just shown up from nowhere had disturbed their hard work. However, Kiba cared not a rat's ass about any of that. Kiba was hellbent on taking all the food these bastards had, and then taking a hostage to lead him back to the nearest town. If these people failed to comply, he would continue to cause a ruckus until he got what he wished for, a bite to eat and directions to town.
