Indestructible: Your wound threshold is increased by +1. This extra wound is treated the same as your second for its timers. In addition, should you join a death-enabled AT with 0 wounds and die, you may instead opt to live and take 3 wounds at once. Doing this results in a Penalty timer of 6 months.

Appearance: Calad is a small, hawk like bird, roughly 30 center meters in length. The underside of the bird is almost entirely white, while the outside is mixture of white, greys and purple. It has a long and powerful beak colored white to match it’s undercoat, with think oval eyes above. It has long and lanky legs which extend down to silvery talons, and a bushy tail behind.

Background: Calad is a bird which Fukushu encountered on his travels between Plant and Arcose. He had heard rumors of a species of bird which contained some sort of magical healing properties that greatly intrigued him, though they proved to be difficult to find. Even after visiting their home world he found that their species were mostly shy, hiding any time he got near.

Calad therefore must have been one of the more adventurous kinds, as Fukushu found him to be much more responsive to his calls than the others. That response would be hostile though, as the bird tried to peck away at his eyes. He found the attack amusing as he was far more powerful than the bird was, and it’s ability to gauge a weak point gave him some respect for the animal.

Eventually Fukushu was able to tame the creature with the gift of food, which is when he discovered the creatures ability of telepathy, as it put images into his mind of what it wanted to eat. Eventually Fukushu was able to convince the bird to come along with his travels.
