Nanab rose when Tholen did, and took a moment to take stock of his things. He had his pack, his stick, his various supplies and bedrolls... and most importantly, he still had his blade. The sword that made him a blade dancer, just as he made it a tool of justice and death in equal measure. He felt strange about leaving behind the egg that had taken him all the way from Malay to this distant, desolate world. And yet, he figured he could always return to it, and he did have the strange, white device that seemed to call the egg inside of his knapsack. He wasn't quite sure what it was made off, the little white smooth device that fit so naturally in his hand. It felt like horn or dredger bone, with some soft little pieces that one pressed to make things happen. He'd tested it with F'ei before he'd left, and he was sure it still worked.
There was also the matter of one more thing. Before Tholen could put his hand on Nanab's shoulder, Nanab kicked some loose dirt into the little fire ring he'd made just a few minutes earlier. He did not wish to have a repeat of the night that he and his old friends had spent in the Musa Forest during the dry season..
"Right then. A teleportation spell. How does it wor-?"
Before Nanab could finish his question, both he and Tholen had disappeared entirely... simply vanishing from that point in space and time without much fanfare or extra crackling of energy. They left behind a crater, an open pod, and the remnants of a campfire, but no smoke. Oh, and some Weeklong Bread crumbs.
