Now Kamae was really starting to get Derry interested in the whole ritual thing, what with his promises of making this ritual more and more simple and easy to use for the boss. He even claims that the president could even use it on the fly and not even require the use of a sigil to perform in the first place. It would be far more convenient for Derry to do, so why wouldn't he let the demon help out in that department? "Well if you're able to make this whole thing less tedious to go through, then that is perfectly fine. Efficiency is where it's at, I'll tell you. I'll provide you with whatever tools you'll need for this sort of thing, whatever it is that's required. Again, I'm no expert on this subject."
As the demon took a moment to look over the sigil provided, he seemed to take great care in analyzing just what it was, though given the look in his eye it seems to be a step beneath his usual craft. He asks the president who made the sigil and wonders if it's related to something like a forest hex. Hazel was always a very big fan of nature given what he saw back at her manor and on Plant, so it certainly makes sense as to how Hazel came up with this thing in the first place. Still, he couldn't help but get just a bit flustered at the comment since it regarded his wife's work, despite Kamae meaning no ill will towards it.
"That would be Hazel's own handiwork, thank you," he comments as he raises his eyebrow, "And I truly hope it ain't an insult. Whatever, so long as you can make it efficient, it's fine. At the very least, with what you're promising for this little experiment, it looks like we might have something real good on our hands. I might actually be able to move about in public without being recognized for once. I had that before when I was still able to walk around as Laitier, but that was always just for political gain when the time was right. Don't have too much of a use for the armor now, at least, not in its current shade of color..."
It was another thing that Derry had considered. Shifting the color of the metal of his armor and adding a few additional pieces could make it distinct enough from Laitier to where he wouldn't be recognized with the suit on. Despite the new suit, he would still run the risk of having his face exposed, but when paired together... It would certainly be quite difficult to tell just who he is.
