Saiba-Ban was more on the sidelines at this point, he was here to make sure he got what he wanted then bounce. Since at least one person was gonna go through with his plans, (Or at least claimed to be willing too), Saiba-Ban really didn’t like the risk-reward of trying to take a throne. He was surprised no one had just thrown him out either. But guess he was strong so it be a pain and he offered his wealth to the kingdom. So maybe that bought himself into everyone good grace’s. For now though he just had to listen and see where this all went. Hopefully, it went in the direction he wanted. Some ruler who would not fuck with the saibamen and that could be good for peace (the type of peace he got rich from).
Giving a rundown of what everyone said though, it seems this would not come that easy. Nasu seemed to want to mostly do away with the old ways. Strongest was not exactly what mattered, the temperament of a ruler was very important. That was something he agreed with but he could not say he expected him to claim such a thing. Maybe most of these people were a bit smarter than he gave them credit for. The point was it was probably going to be more than one ruler, no single king. And that he wanted the Saiyan to fight for a cause rather than just be bloodthirsty warriors. This could actually be trouble, what type of cause would a guy like Nasu fight for? Not that he could say much on it, but he should tell this to Derry when he got off this rock. He was sure that more leader’s meant they prob be piloting in an Azoth-like direction, being a ruler of many worlds and they keep an eye for trouble maker’s like his boss.
Amara then came out and proclaimed the whole peace she had made (With Taori), the whole end of the war was a farce between both sides and she called it dumb? Saiba-Ban tilted his head at her. But when she kept speaking, he somewhat understood what she was going for. They needed to be together, not separate. If the saiyans and tuffle were on the same front of things they be almost unstoppable. That be great expect, he was pretty sure it not go that way. They would not be equal, saiyan would have the gear then what the tuffles usual for. He didn’t care either way but he somewhat saw Amara plan was dooming her people rather then helping them. “You saiyans invaded this planet. I doubt the tuffles capitulate to integration unless it in their terms.” Saiba-Ban pointed, “What stops a saiyan lets say taking the gear and running with it? Not that I care but I’d like to at least point that out.”
He glanced back around at Clove and Jagaimo who each had a thing to say. Clove was brief, he pointed out how hard it be for the saiyans to change. It’d take a lot of work for a people to change their way they lived for so long. He looked at the saibamen the same way. He believed in their potential but it took something to help them grow! He was going to have to make that change with his cold bare hands. Jagaimo though noted a possible problem with the saibamen-saiyan plan. What land would be granted? Would it still work if they promised equality and change among the saiyans. Saiba-Ban scoffed. “Promises are what liars use to get away with lying. ‘We promise to change’ and then nothing happens for a long time. I don’t take promises. I make changes. That is what a ‘saiyan’ would do I suspect. If anyone got a problem with the saibamen after I arrive i’ll do what I can to make them regret that. Simple as that. If it can’t be worked out though i’d just ask to be allowed to let them leave plant or at least those who accept.” Not all saibaman would leave, maybe only a few but he’d bring them somewhere new and where they could be was wild as they want. So they could grow.
Anyway, she had a lot more thing to say but it sorta combined to the general point that seemed to everyone desire. A return to just one ruler was not what anyone wanted. Instead they wanted more then one ruler or at least a ruler not decided by might. It was so odd to hear that people wanted that over one ruler? He sorta thought one strong unified ruler was the best. The more voices you had that had power, the less that got done. So she walked over and cracked the throne apart. “Woah. Not that was unexpected.” The throne laid in ruins thanks to her actions as Saiba-Ban glanced back around at the pissed off crowd. They seemed ready to attack her but they would be meet with cold hard steel. Zuqetta blade smashing them aside before they could get close to harming Jagaimo.
Now it was her turn to speak and she seemed to conclude mostly everyone was saying the same thing. And while this conversation was good, words were fickle compared to action. And now it was time for action. She was going to still take the mantle of leadership unless someone stepped up to stop her. It didn’t mean she not change some of the things but some of the ideas like meritocracy she threw out the window. “Ok, well that's great and all I’ll say is the same as I said before. I am only stepping in if someone else that steps up does not agree with my terms. I wish anyone the best of luck in these battles.” Saiba-Ban really didn’t wish any of them luck if he was lucky they tear each other apart. If no one opposed Zuqetta great, and if someone did he could sit and watch with some popcorn or something like that.
