Crotona had still quite down since the whole situation with Maxsuz. The city of Lux had been recovering and was basically fixed up to her knowledge. But killing someone was not something she felt right about doing that. But lucky there was someone she could talk to about this and a lot other things. Erebos and her had been quite close in the past though they had not talked in a while. But she heard he was on Konats. So she would invite him towards the S'tarche Coast so they could just talk. Crotona was not wearing her normal outfit it was a long floral dress. She was totally not trying to be fancy? Nope not at all. She was just wanted to wear something up because Konat was quite hot. Not that she could feel it. Nope just wearing something different cause of heat.
Crotona just like to be able to relax, she didn't wanna image herself wearing battle gear. She wanted to be able to enjoy herself and just talk to a friend. She was not training anyone, or focused on an upcoming battle. Konats was hopefully a place she could just relax. Maxsuz had thrown a wrench into that but he was gone. Hopefully, that would show anyone else to not cause trouble. Anyway, she had a lot of on her mind but she'd leave that to another time. She just wanted to see someone she could talk too about life. That would hopefully bring her back on the right track of things. So she could absolve herself of any guilt and be back to normal. Maybe even better then normal.
The voice came from a collection of bushes. Shaded shrubbery rustled, and from it emerged Erebos. He shook leaves from his hair, revealing a casual outfit of his own. Shining metal was turned in for cloth and leathers. The tunic he sported was a dull grey, as were most of the clothes he fashioned for himself.
”I heard about that big battle. Shame I missed it. I did promise to come by, but then again I also asked you to give me a call… so I guess we’re both in need of apologizing.”
His foot flung forward, kicking a rock and flipping it into the air. When it landed in his hand, it had transformed into a coconut drink, complete with straw and little umbrella. Putting both hands on the drink, he’d pull them apart to fashion an exact copy, which he’d offer to the girl.
”Careful. Dark nuts are strong stuff. Not for lightweights.”
If Crotona decided to imbibe, she’d find the drink was rather smooth. Like drinking morning mist. The flavor was hard to describe, though. The slightest flare of sweetness.
Crotona turned, surprised that Erebos was already here. Now she was embarrassed. A soft red covered her face, almost the same shade as her hair. "It's not that fancy. Just different from my standard armor. That's all. That was all I had to wear since I was off-world. Only every once in a while did I have an option to wear something else." Crotona glanced at Erebos as she spoke, trying to calm her nerves. Erebos did seem informed on what was going on, noting that she did owe him a call when she arrived on Konats. That had been what they promised. "Oh I forgot about that! I am sorry, Erebos please forgive me." Crotona tipped her head in apology to Erebos. She must have gotten swamped with just enjoying being back home. And, of course, the attack on Lux also took much of her focus.
Erebos had brought some items, some sort of drink. She glanced over at it and nodded. "Can't drink till. Or at least by earth laws, I can't drink. So I'll have to pass for now." Crotona wanted to follow the laws, even if they were different from Konats. "Can you make something lighter, or is that not possible with your magic." She cracked a grin at Erebos. "And yah, there was a big battle. Uh, this guy named Maxsuz and a Namek warrior named Marimba wanted to take over Lux for this White Rose Kingdom. Long story short, me and this lady Amara repelled them." She frowned, remembering the battle. "I did, do something I'm not too proud of, I'll admit. I felt the need to kill Maxsuz. I gave him the option to leave, and he took it. But before he left he made it pretty clear he'd do something like attacking Lux again, just not on Konats of course. So I made sure that threat didn't come to pass again." Crotona sighed. "I am unsure if that was the right choice to make. Are we not the good people? Shouldn't we not kill people?"

Erebos rolled his eyes. ”Sheesh. You mortals and your laws.” He telekinetically lifted the girl’s cup, and tossed it into a dark portal that’d suddenly appeared. The portal gurgled, and spit out a near-identical coconut for the girl to collect. ”There. Non-alcoholic, or whatever. Should be overloaded with sugar, if my spell did the trick.”
Erebos listened with vague interest as her story went on. The mention of Amara gave him a small grin. ”Oh I know her. She made me some cool gloves. Nice lady.” Other than that little comment, though, he mostly stayed silent. Simply taking in the story and ruminating on how best to answer her final question.
He shifted back and forth on the ball of his foot, hmm’ing and haw’ing at the conundrum. ”Tossing a moral quandary at me this early in the morning? Jeez. Guess I can’t ever catch a break.” Still though, the question was a valid one. Hard to answer as it was, he paced back and forth for a bit, sipping on his drink a couple of times before answering.
”Depends on you, I guess. Some people can’t be reasoned with, no matter how many speeches you give or chances you throw their way. Does that mean you have to kill them? If you want to, I suppose you certainly can. Sounds like what I would’ve done, honestly.”
He summoned a shadowy puppet version of Maxsuz. They’d met, very briefly, on Namek, so his recreation of him was rather accurate. The puppet postulated in the air, before a sword came from afar, slicing his shadowy wooden head clean from his body, and severing the strings.
”Besides, the guy’s a total jackass. I would’ve killed him for far less reason than you decided on.”
It did bring an interesting question to his mind, though: how would Fend and Ward have handled the situation? Those two had rather unique moral compasses. While he imagined Ward most certainly would’ve objected, Fend probably would have just as quickly grabbed a shovel to help dig… Or maybe it’d end up being the other way around? He’d have to ask them someday.
”Gotta be honest, out of all the planets I’ve visited, this one’s kinda… Simple. Not a lot going on. No world-ending threats or shadowy organizations to topple! That storm of yours really sucked the fun out of this place, that’s for sure.”
"Sorry. I like following the law. You know me i'm a goodie." She said sipping the non alcoholic drink. She'd smile lightly, it tasted quite good. Erebros seemed to know about Amara, they had made her gloves. That was good since it allowed her to segway into dealing with the Maxsuz. As Erebos said, sometimes people could not be reasoned with. Maxsuz wanted to cause chaos and destruction. Erebos noted that he’d of killed him for far less, so at least she was not doing what he’d do. She’d smile lightly. “I suppose your right. But Still, it is hard to find that line to draw. Of course as you said you kill him for less. Maybe your line is a bit too loose.” That seemed a bit harsh to kill for just being annoying. She’d hope that Erebos more meant annoyed for doing one bad action. Unlike Crotona who seemed to give every bad person three or four chances.
Erebos noted that all of the planets he had been ont his place was simple. There was no world ending threat. Crotona smiled lighty. “Yes, in that way we are simple but we are also divided. There the kingdom who been fighting for centuries. Just for the title of being king of this planet. It is quite foolish in my opinion. Everyone fighting and hurting eachother. Even as the planet was covered in a sandstorm and people fled in mass? It was quite foolish though me and my family were not much involved. But at lesat it simple. People disagreeing who should rule instead of hating eachother guts fully. Well there is the Kashvarr, they are guess a shadow cult but they really not done much in a while. I am sure they are not much to worry about with them.”
