The Timeline

????? Before Age           

The Universe is created by an unknown force. The Shinjin, caretakers of the universe, are born alongside it. Somewhere in the deepest reaches of space, the first Majin is born. They become lonely very quickly, and search for a solution...

As the galaxies take shape, so too do their counterparts in the Otherworld and Demon Realm. The Ogres, the spirit world's attendants, are formed. Alongside them, Demons and the first Rotten Fruit come to life.

??? Before Age               

Sapient and even sophisticated species begin to crop up across the galaxy, one of the first being the Arcosian race. Their civilization advances quickly, becoming a young version of their notably high-class society within the span of a hundred years.

Age 1-200                      

The sage-like Namekian race grows in population immensely. The Dragon and Warrior clans, led by a wise Elder Guru, live in prosperity for a great while.

The Tuffles, native to Planet Plant, make one of the first steps toward technological advancement.

The Konatsian people begin to develop and fine-tune their mystic arts.

While most demons sought to claim territory within the demon realm, some decide to leave its confines and traverse the various different planets dotting the galaxy in search of either a new life or their own personal empire. A few even attempted to invade Hell and claim its land in the Otherworld, though were completely devastated by King Yemma's intervention.

Age 300-600                  

Interstellar travel gradually becomes commonplace among most species.

Earth and its myriad of races unify under one planetary banner led by a President and modernize, though slower than the other planets among the stars.

The Herans, natives to the planet sharing their name, take their first steps out into the galactic stage. Space piracy begins to spread its corrupt shadow.

Konats crowns its first monarch, sparking a war among the species native to the planet. No one king nor family successfully holds the crown for more than a generation, thanks in part to the efforts of the dubious Kashvar clan of mages.

Age 700-800                  

The Arcosian empire begins booming. Technology advances at a rapid pace as their hyper-capitalist society launches into adolescence. The seedy underbelly of corporate greed grows ever larger.

Namek and its people face a new threat in the form of a third clan: the Mazoku. Though young, their determination is fierce. Some find they simply wish to lead carefree lives, while other, darker Mazoku wish to wage war against their brethren for supremacy.

The Majin species spreads across the galaxy. Though their origins are unknown, the majority of them share a carefree nature that makes it easy to slot into most societies' ecosystems.

The fight continues inside of the demon realm as smaller kingdoms begin to form. Soon, the O'a'regana, Basillus, and Coryndyr kingdoms are formed and slowly begin to claim whatever territory was weak enough for them to conquer with ease.

Countless skirmishes and proxy wars begin increasing in commonality as the Konatsians battle with the Kashvar for control of the planet. Despite this, technological advancements begin to occur due to a sudden boom in offworld visitors.

Age 900-960                  

Planet Sadala, the homeworld of the Saiyans, is torn apart by natural disasters. Floods and earthquakes; volcanoes erupting and storms brewing. The planets inhabitants evacuate, and begin their search for a new world to call home. Their renown as excellent mercenaries reaches legendary status as they travel the stars.

The Herans form a rivalry of sorts with their Saiyan counterparts, vying for the spot as most ruthless warrior. The true best mercurial species is still up for debate to this very day.

Planet Earth advances at a rapid pace. Capsule Corp develops the Dyno Caps, which become commonplace quickly.

The radicals among the Mazoku strike out against their brothers, but are pushed back into the Northern Scar. It is presumed that their way of thinking is burnt away by the failure, though it seemed they were only emboldened by the loss.

The Konatsian city of Taqar breaks off from the control of the monarchy and declares independence thanks to its immense wealth and power from foreign investments. The new City-State is renamed Lux.

Age 970-999                  

The Saiyans find Planet Plant. Launching their invasion, they find that what seemed an easy takeover becomes increasingly trying.

The Tuffles begin developing powerful weaponry to combat the new foreign invaders. Using this Destron tech, they destroy a city on the cusp of Saiyan occupancy. Due to its intense destructive force, they deign it too dangerous to use. For fear of losing their planet to themselves faster than to the Saiyan threat, they lock the weaponry away until the time comes that it is truly needed.

Namek sees repeat signs of trouble with Mazoku outcasts. Becoming more bold by the day, the Namek populace becomes uneasy.

The solidarity of the Konatsian people is fractured, as dozens of royals begin to lay claim to ownership of the planet. The once-loyalists turn the unified planet into a splintered set of factions. The Kashvar seize this opportunity, and increase their aggression.

Age 1000-1020              

After a particularly bloody campaign, the Saiyans seize a major foothold on Plant, dubbing their portion of the planet Vegeta.

Konats is struck with an endless storm that debilitates the planet. Though its cause is unknown, many suspect the Kashvar. With heavy hearts, many Konatsians abandon the planet to search for answers among the stars. Some stalwart few decide to stay behind to try and keep the planet alive.

Hera is completely overrun by rampant criminal activity, becoming a hive for scum and villainy.

With Mazoku activity ramping up, the Warrior Clan is stretched thin defending the populace. Prejudice against Mazoku who aren't radical outcasts begins to grow.

The raging war in the demon realm slowly crawls to a halt as the O'a'regana, Basillus, and Coryndyr kingdoms have now laid claim on a quarter of the demon realm each, leaving only the most savage lands alone. Some have taken to using whatever scraps can be found there to create their own kingdoms in the hope of one day standing up against the three titanic kingdoms.

Age 1022 (Present Day)

During a particularly fierce battle, the leaders of both sides of the Tuffle-Saiyan conflict are slain in combat. With no leadership, both sides retreat, slowing the war to a crawl. Small skirmishes still break out across the planet.

Namek's Guru passes away from old age at a particularly unfortunate time. With his passing, the fate of Namek hangs in the balance as the populace searches for new hope.

Arcose's Emperor goes missing. Whether by political subterfuge, space piracy, or just a need to get away from this life, he vanishes overnight. The sudden political vacuum draws aspiring leaders from all walks of life.

The storm plaguing Konats subsides, though the reason for it seems to be entirely unknown. Some speculate a clan of Konatsian mages might have risen to quell the threat, while others speculate that the one who cursed the planet may have tied their life force into the spell.

With election season drawing near, Earth's president steps down after a particularly fierce scandal threatens their political career. The 25th annual Tenkaichi Budōkai begins preparations to open sometime soon...
