A lazy day it was. Fukushu was resting away in his newly constructed home when he heard some noise coming from outside. Not wasting any time the Heran hopped to his feet, at which point he heard a smash. Running to the front door he noticed that one of his windows had a rock thrown through it. Furiously shoving his door open, he was able to spot a glimpse of someone running away. "Damn kids... I thought I choose this spot because it'd be secluded. I guess someone's got to teach them a lesson."
Rushing after the figure proved to be more difficult than Fukushu had anticipated, as it wasn't long until the Heran found himself lost and no closer to his target than he was in the beginning. His speed had actually taken him far out of the forest, and pushing north he eventually made himself to the foot of a mountain. A misguided belief in his tracking ability had lead him to believe that his target must be not too far from here, even though there was a small voice in the back of his head telling him ridiculous this was. "Well... I guess this is the way to go huh?"
Less than half an hour into this trek and already Fukushu found himself regretting the decision. The conditions of Mount Frappe were certainly living up to their reputation, as even the harsh skin of a Heran would find it difficult to last long around here. The snow being blasted into his eyes by the wind made things no easier on him, as soon he somehow found himself lost for the second time today, and with no supplies to aid his escape. Fully succumbing to the sunk cost fallacy, Fukushu reckoned that it if he kept going deeper into the mountain he'd likely find some sort of resident who could aid him.
A another fifteen minutes and Fukushu was close to being on his hands and knees. What the Hell was the point of this mountain? To be a pain to it's inhabitants? Why not just blow the damn thing up. As his strength continued to drop more and more he must have began hallucinating as he could swear there was a light up ahead. Without much of a choice Fukushu followed through on the first though that crossed his mind: firing at energy wave at the source to try and get someone's attention.
