There was something important that Rensou needed to take care of; something that he had been meaning to do for a while now. It was now coming up on a year that Rensou had left his home-- if you could even call it that. It was more like a shack that he was forced to adapt to, but that doesn't mean it was without it's charm. For years that shack was practically all he knew, and the last time he was there he came across crucial information which lead him to Earth, though in the end that visit didn't provide as much as he thought it. For some reason he just couldn't shake the feeling that going back there would lead him to something valuable once more.
As he dashed through the air there was the unmistakable feeling of fear coming upon him. The memories of lonely nights combined with battles for survival against the Saiba beasts that roam this territory made him feel nauseous, forcing him out of the sky and back to his feet; he'd walk the rest of the way. He didn't remember feeling this way the last time he came back, though he'd changed so much since then. As he closed in on his destination he realized that he was standing over the area where he had encountered Zuqetta and Zerori for the first time, when they had bartered over freshly cooked saiba-wolves.
It brought a smile to his face as he remembered the moment; remembered promising Zuqetta he'd teach her to fly. He never did, and his smile faded as he knelt down to feel the ground. He thought that maybe the surface would still be charred from Zuqetta's blast, or perhaps there'd be bones laying around somewhere. There was nothing; no trace or clue that the trio had ever even met. The land had forgotten, but he remembered. Picking himself back up he turned his attention back to his old shack. It situated at the edge of a cliff, and still feeling a bit off he decided to climb instead. A few seconds later and he had made it to the top; only a few paces away from it now.
A part of him felt like maybe this was a mistake; what good would coming back here do for him? It'd be dumb to turn back now though, considering how far he had travelled, so he pushed through his doubts and entered home. It seemed a lot more run down that he remembered it; was it possible that it had been raided? The weather probably took it's toll as well; he hadn't be around to repair like before. He sat down on the side of his bed and took a few moments to collect himself; not as many as he'd like as just then a saiba-wolf reared it's ugly head and charged at him.
