Physically, Amara was fit as a fiddle. The horrible techniques that had tried to sunder her recently revived soul from its new bodies had taken their toll on a much more ingrained level than just her body, but at least she could move about with no issue. All in all, while Amara pumped the brakes on any more potentially death-defying stunts for the foreseeable future, she got off pretty lucky. Most folks hobbled away from stuff like that with missing limbs or with gaping chest holes, and here she was with a bit of an ache and the unfortunate disability to grow her power for a while. Delayed onset Ki disorder (or DOKD for short) was a nasty little thing caused by her body exerting WAY too much energy to mitigate the remaining damage behind Dai and Kowlin.
So why had she come to a tournament grounds of all places if getting stronger wasn't a driving force? Quite simple! Plenty of people WERE seeking to get stronger, and some of the strongest came here to show off or find worthy challengers. Amara figured she could either learn a thing or two from some of the top brass and, if not, deck out the small fry with some lessons or gear. Earth was under a surprising amount of heavy fire these days, and the hybrid wanted to ensure it'd be safe after she left its' surface. Upon her approach, a vaguely familiar power presented itself. After a minute or two, the source clicked - a masked woman by the name of Fend who had participated in the Budokai. Amara had never fought her in the main bracket, but the two had dueled in a side arena while the hybrid was under her temporary alias of Chaya.
...Sheesh, how many fake names was she gonna have? Leriac, Chaya, and now Celosia. No rest for the dupe-happy, Amara supposed. Fend wasn't really that close of a friend or ally as their only face-to-face had been in the one skirmish, though she had heard more of the swordswoman through Erebos. Apparently, the two had some sort of friendly dichotomy and sword rivalry going on. Well, he didn't SAY that, but Amara placed her presumptuous pieces to fit. At last, the daydreaming came to an end. Amara touched down near one of the side arenas where Fend's energy was radiating from. It was hard to tell if it was the same one they had fought it before, but oh the delicious coincidence that'd be. Most bystanders were standing far back, Amara pushing past them to waltz into the fighting grounds themselves. "Pardon the intrusion, but I see you're working yourself pretty hard there. Need a helping hand?"
