As with the sunshine bathed beaches of Papaya Island, the North's frosty, frigid tundra proved little challenge for Amara's choice of attire. Where once it would seemingly be too hot, the exposed midriff and rolled sleeves would give quite the opposite impression all the way up here. And yet the woman looked as pleased as a bee on a flower, smiles on the way as she exuded a warmth on both a physical and spiritual level. The piping cup of hot chocolate (complete with whipped cream) certainly helped too. While it was fun to drink some sweets and engage with the festively friendly locals, Amara had trekked all the way up here for a different reason. Beyond her test trials of flora revitalization for the eventual restoration of Planet Plant's ecosystem, word on the street was a certain Majin lived in this vague direction.
Amara had only met Annie once. During a mega battle where her life was in danger, no less. The Majin stood up to Dai despite being nothing more than a slight annoyance to the beast, and while Amara had ultimately ended up extending herself too far to protect Annie, at least she made it out. The damage to her Ki was healing, but it'd be a month or two before it was patched enough to do any severe fighting. Nevertheless, despite Amara's exasperation at the girl's insistence on staying, she was glad they were OK. A person with a heart like that would be good to lend some pointers and maybe make a bit stronger for any future incidents; Kami knows they wouldn't hesitate to jump in again. That being said...
It was tough to locate someone you hardly knew. Amara had been asking around, and it seems that some people knew Annie but didn't KNOW her. Having already talked to her telepathically once, Amara could, of course, do it again. Yet that seemed a little rude for what was still a stranger.
