There were a lot of QUIRKS to the cities of Earth that Mayhem had found rather easy to exploit. She could pretty readily pass herself off as an earthling of some sort, somewhat zoan-thrope. Able to blend in with a wider society like this while retaining her abilities was fantastic! Nobody suspects you to be able to put on sudden weight, grow suddenly, or best them in simple sport. A little annoying a lot of people could measure her strength, but that was far beyond the point. Looking cute also gave her a pass with some of these beings. One even gave her free food for a chat once! It was very neat.
But the biggest advantage she'd take today had nothing to do with anything just described. Well, maybe except for that last bit. May was a bottomless pit for meat. And one of the many sports these humans participated in were eating contests. These would perhaps be the easiest way to get food out of them without just stealing it from farmers. She'd have to test and see how many of these she'd be able to get away with though. And she was going to be competing with some other Earthbound Aliens as well. Namely, Saiyans.
Signing up to this roadside show where the main eatery was hotdogs, most of the contestants were large fellas or very clearly Saiyans. All holding themselves up proudly as 'big eaters'. These things couldn't even eat a whole Sauropod in a sitting! May's general small appearance made her look like a joke to a lot of the onlookers and contestants, which was exactly why the judge had a confused look plastered on his face when she approached. Pointing towards the tables where the contest would take place and back to her. A clear sign of wanting to join.
"Ehh... Alright! Have at it, girl. You're seat twelve."
With only so many more spots left, the contestants would have to wait just a bit longer. And the small protosaur bounced in place next to the other contestants as she impatiently watched over the hotdogs being grilled nearby. She wasn't as good at hiding her motives to those who cared to check, but that really didn't matter in a 'contest'. Losers also had to pay a small fee, but May had no such money. Not that she was sweating.
She doesn't lose.
"Don't think I've seen many weirdos like that before."
One of the larger earthlings, a burly human, made himself very well known with some abrasive comments aimed at her. But she didn't seem to be even paying attention. None of THESE contestants caught her eye. Any more than the prize she truly waited for did...
