BACKGROUND: Snapdragon is a bastard child twice-orphaned who was forced into a life of maturity and self-reliance from an incredibly young age.
His father, Calyx, was an up-and-coming entrepreneur with hands in the ever-important mining industry. Focused on deposits of Chargestone, he lived an unusual life compared to most of the corporate men holed up further inland. Snapdragon resulted from a short passionate romance with a visiting Tuffle, Eliope. The pregnancy was only discovered after her departure far from Calyx's homeland, and a one-time stipend was used to secure a mutual agreement that the child would be brought home to Plant. Eliope kept in distant contact with the man even after Snapdragon's birth. The sudden and unexpected slaughter of Calyx's official family brought on by the hands of an aggressive Konatsian crown panicked her the most.
Fearful that her time with Calyx would be grounds for aggression, the Tuffle made plans to vacate the planet within the month, though that would never hand. Killed at random by common thugs, Snapdragon was dumped onto the streets at the tender age of six. He now had no family, no money, and was forced to survive amid the sudden storm that had begun to ravage the planet. He soon turned to a life of cons and crime with no other choice, the young boy's heart hardening to others. A slightly older street rat Majin with a knack for mechanics, Vanille took him under her wing. Together they pulled by with a mixture of legitimate services and petty crime, with Snapdragon discovering an innate gift for technology thanks to his long-forgotten mother.
The duo only trusted each other, with strangers (especially adults) given a wide untrusting berth. It was only with the discovery of Paiyas, a lone child with origins similar to Snapdragon, that they broke this tight-knit code to induct another. While his experimentation was cruel, it brought about belated abilities that served the fledgling group well. Soon they stopped living and started thriving. As the years passed and the storm raged on, Snapdragon was no longer content with operating as a wealthy criminal within the confines of Konats. His sights were set higher, and soon enough, he'd have what he wanted...
COMBAT INFORMATION
TECHNIQUES: You start with Three Standard Technique Slots and One Sparking Slot that you can use any way you like. Some species start out with additional slots, or access to certain slot-based abilities for free. You also start with two additional Utility Technique Slots.

Snapdragon slices upward, his Ki projecting outward in a slicing crescent wave that doesn't physically cut, but leaves behind a burning sensation in one's very fiber if hit.

Snapdragon forms a controlled gauntlet of energy around one of his arms, the end of which resembles the jaws of a dragon. With it he can completely 'catch' and nullify a single offensive technique coming towards him.

Snapdragon manifests his negative emotions into a tangible form through Ki, forming an unstable orb which he pushes outward into a sharp arrow-headed beam of pure force. As before it generally leaves minimal physical impact and rather targets the enemy's energy itself.
