Naturally being a more nature-inclined individual, Cassidy couldn't help but notice the disturbingly growing gap between himself and his normally close connection with the outdoors. He supposed it was inevitable- what with all the extra hours he needed to pick up for the rest of the Dirty Snakes due to Derry becoming president of the entire planet (and thus needing to be less hands on with Dirty Snake business in general) and every other odd adventure he had been on in between. He barely had any opportunity to catch his breath, let alone spend any needed respite within the kind embrace of Mother Nature herself.
Thankfully, it appeared he'd finally get his wish, as he was able to get a few of the newer bloods to take up the rest of the jobs he'd have had to do himself for the rest of the week. New members were always ready to try and prove themselves to the higher ups, and considering his close relationship with Derry himself, they'd have to be plum dumb to not take the opportunity to get on his, and potentially Derry's, good side. Plus, Cassidy to them was getting old for a hired gun, to them they were also doing the "nice old man" a favor.
To Cerrone, it really didn't matter all that much, though he did appreciate the concern nonetheless.
Either way, it gave him the schedule opening he needed to finally take some time away from all the ruckus. In fact, everything seemed to line up perfectly, as he had been situated in the Northern part of the planet for a good while now, and he was aching to get to sight seeing the extensive woodlands this region of Earth was duly noted for.
Seeing as it was a warm day, well, warm-er day than usual today, Cassidy took with him his cowboy hat, a form fitting athletic tee, and a flexible yet fashionable pair of blue bleached jeans. Not that he cared all that much about what people saw him in, he didn't expect any company whilst in his greenery retreat anyways. Tightening his ol' faithful pair of Timberlands, Cassidy took off from North City initially, beelining it for the nearest forest looking area that his eyes could see.
It didn't take him long, as it wasn't that hard to find a heavily wooded area to his liking. Hell, it took him even less time to set up camp- choosing a nice bit of open plains surrounded by shrubbery and tree lines alike. Something private, yet not suffocating.
From there on, Cassidy decided to take a short break before he would set out on the rest of the plans he had for himself, leaning against a lone tree just on the fringe of the rest of the forest behind it, sighing in contentment.
Ignorant to the fact that his company was about to become plus one.
