His swords and the new beam from Mint had both fizzled. This was incredibly frustrating to say the least and now Mint had gone up in the air and attempted to come back down and hit him. Blizzard was quick to leap away from the man to avoid the attack and quickly had to assess the situation.
“We both have the power to rule Planet Arcose. You can take the throne if you wanted it. If you ever don’t want to live in Azoth’s shadow. You can do it now. I have an apprentice that I have been training. She has the strength that I wish I had when I was her age.
You have the strength to best Azoth..”
Blizzard would proceed to de laser his swords all except for his red laser sword and held it in his right original hand. Meanwhile he would place the remaining of his five other swords back in their sheaths and proceeded to walk around Mint and being 10ft apart from him.
“If you keep Azoth on the throne. He would only get stronger given time. He was the first to achieve this power. What’s to say he won’t acquire another form. As time goes on, it only gets worst for you since you want that throne.
With me by your side, everyone will know you to be the true ruler. I have made it my career to bring glory to others. General Hibernal inspired me. Which prompted me to grow the empire over time. I am 100 years, and I have done so much for this Empire. Many know Azoth through me spreading it planet after planet. And soon, they will be chanting your name.”
As he walked around Mint in a slow pace walk, he began to lower his blade as he talked, to show him a sign that he didn’t want to fight at least for now. He now appeared in front of him with his back turned away from him. He had his second and third set of arms behind his back.
“I lost countless friends to the Empire’s cause. Many of them served with honor. I am a fair man and I ruled with respect when it came to being a Lord to my clan. Not with fear like many arcosians.
You don’t have an eye as I can see. Since you choose to carry around that scouter. You are like many arcosians who choose to not have any cybernetic parts. It would appear that many would rather show their battle wound scars with no assistance in wanting to improve their circumstances. That is why we arcosians are so prideful in nature. But it is still a fools choice to do so.
If you looked at General Hibernal. He was always in a robotic suit. It’s probably what kept him alive all this time and to avoid an early grave. I’m pretty sure many arcosians didn’t like that he chose to have cybernetics. Just like myself, I too get shunned by it. But it’s what kept me alive all this time. I am still standing, while those with pride have fallen. They are the ones who can’t speak anymore. They are beneath our feet. You don’t have to be ashamed to have cybernetic parts, it can truly save your life one day.”
He would look over his shoulder, seeing Mint with his damaged right side of the face and showing his red eye.
“Look at how strong I have become and it isn’t the cybernetic parts that gave me my strength.”
He would turn and walk over to Mint and standing face to face with him.
“It’s my failures that got me there and it’s a permanent reminder to never make a mistake like that again. “
