Both hands began to slowly unfold as chunks fell from them. All of the chaos of the bouncing and deflecting pieces had stopped, leaving a plethora of floating balls and pieces of the pillars still falling over around them. Ward stood back up straight as what was left of both hands completely crumbled. The balls stayed floating, nearly hundreds by this point, but all parting as Ward placed his arms behind his back and walked closer to Sesame.
"It's a shame we met under such conditions as these. I've been looking for competent warriors as of late, and you are assuredly that, and unique I might add. I appreciate unique. There is so little of it in these times."
His right arm lifted from behind his back, holding his palm up as each of the balls still hovering swarmed Sesame the moment he stomped down. Ward's arm lifted further and reached out towards Sesame as the speed of the balls increased. A good few dozen of them were immediately destroyed from the blast fired, but before any of them reached to strike the warrior they stopped. Ward could be seen, even if partially shrouded by all the mess of floating debris, doing some sort of motion with both arms now as the balls began swirling around Sesame, make a slow moving vortex a few inches off the ground and just a few inches taller than Sesame.
"How do we end this battle of ours? It has proven an amusing distraction."
Sesame looked upwards as the balls of rubble were being formed. It was like he was going to face a hailstorm of rocks. Glad he fired off a blast, that would force Ward into an attack. Which it did but not before Ward had some words for him. He really did seem to be observing this as more of an entertainment than some serious fight. That did annoy Sesame enough to goad a response out of him. "This a game to you?" Sesame called as he began to dodge the balls as best as he could. The blasts he fired were able to tear through some of the rocks. However, the rocks didn't fully reach him. It seemed that Ward had a different plan.
He watched as the balls began to rotate around him like a circle of attacks he'd have to get through to reach Ward. Sesame glanced around, looking at the rocks surrounding him. Sesame didn't respond to Ward's question on how this fight should end. Because he planned to get out of this alive. Sesame would glance towards where Ward was at in the smoke and pulled his right fist back. Sound energy collected in his palm. Then he thrusted his palm outwards letting the sound shockwave escape his palm and head towards Ward. The palm would hopefully either strike or provide a response from the Kai that Sesame could take advantage of. He had to create a path to victory, he could not wait for Ward to make a mistake.

Even in the midst of what was happening Ward turned his head to look up, taking his attention off of Sesame as he thought on his words. He had shown up partially by accident and partially being in the area and little else, so it wasn't as if he was here in the moment on a serious mission or anything of the sort. While it had started out seeming like it would be serious, it had diffused, at least from Ward's perspective, despite the fight and the real damage the two were doing to each other. It was less of a game and more of a distraction at this point, but he knew well enough that distractions couldn't last forever.
"Not as such. It has become an amusement however, but not directly a game. As stated, a distraction."
His words weren't met with the response he had hoped for and half of what he said was discarded completely. Perhaps this was how others felt trying to banter with Ward normally, with his serious outer shell and quiet demeanor. There was a chance he hadn't been taking things quite as seriously as he had even believed, so perhaps it was time to stop playing around, if Sesame believed he was treating this as a game. Though Ward wasn't aware of it, he did in fact give a response that Sesame was looking for, though how accurate it was to the expectation was yet to be seen.
Pointing his palms to the ground, Ward closed his eyes taking a deep breath and began lowering them downward as if pushing an invisible force. The lower his palms got to the ground the lower the rocks around Sesame became, until Ward grunted loudly and the spinning stopped and each one fell at Sesame's feet. It would clear a path right at Ward, but even as he began to charge, Ward's eyes remained closed and his head down, lifting it only as his opponent was a few long steps from him and opening his eyes as an aura of blue shot up around his body and his energy spiked multiple times over, looking to burn away the few scratches and bruises that had formed from the battle thus far.
Stepping forward toward Sesame, Ward stomped down hard on the ground and brought his arms up in a motion as if lifting something above his head, as a chunk of the ground looked to pull up in a large sheet under Sesame's feet. Ward quickly jumped back as he threw his arms forward, the piece of ground glowing with the same aura that surrounded Ward and flipped up blocking Sesame's path and smashing into him from the front.

Sesame narrowed his eyes as he kept moving. A distraction. Like a Gnat on the wall. Sesame was pretty annoyed but what could he do. Sesame rushed forward but Ward was done playing around. The rock seemed to fall to the ground while Ward's aura glowed with renewed strength. Guess, he should have just enjoyed the current power Ward had been outputting. Because his power was increasing a lot. Sesame could sense the climb of power of over six-fold! The rocks that he had formed now looked a lot scarier than before. Was he going to use them in a new attack? Sesame didn't know but he quickly began to power up himself. He like Ward would use this time to heal the injures he had sustained while fighting. It would allow him to completely recover from all the damage Ward had done to him.
While he did feel new and refreshed, Ward seemed the same. All the progress that had been was now gone. Sesame was annoyed by that but even as he increased his power, Ward was already on the move. Kicking up a large platform he slammed it down on Sesame as his fist was unable to overwhelm it. Sesame could have tried to dodge but that meant he used more energy. Sesame was planted in the ground under the large sheet that Ward had flipped on him. Sesame clearly knew at this point this was not going to work unless he pulled out all the stops. But his normal barrage attack would be blocked. Sesame was frustrated, he never felt so powerless even when facing foes stronger than himself. Ward was only somewhat stronger than him and the best he could be trade blows. Sesame roared lifting himself from the rubble Ward planted him in. "Ok now we're serious?" Sesame asked as he breathed out hard blood dripping from his now reopened wounds.

"You seemed to insinuate I wasn't being serious with your question. Now I hope there is no further questioning."
With an outward stretching of his arms, Ward's aura grew momentarily, shifting into his fighting stance as he faced Sesame with a surprisingly determined look. Clapping his hands together in a praying motion, the ground between them cracked and began to pull open as hands started to reach from below, pulling and clawing at the ground. After a moment there were six creatures standing in front of the cracked ground staring towards Sesame in a line. After a moment each looked to shift and twist physically as they turned from simple dirt creatures to what looked like exact cloned copies of fighters Ward had run ins with prior. From left to right there was Erebos, Taori, Derry, Kon, Phakk, and Kowlin.
Behind them Ward's aura grew a much brighter color from basic white to a barely light blue as a large wall, approximately ten foot in height and width grew behind him. Each of the clones slowly spread out in an arch, two on either side of Sesame, one directly in front, and two diagonally. Each of the six began to glow with an aura similar to Ward's as his own aura grew even larger now, and each of the six had the exact same energy signature as Ward to the point it even felt like Ward in each of them when being sensed. None of them directly attacked but each stood ready to do so, each in a different stance as closely resembling their natural fighting stances as Ward remembered them.

"I just wanna make sure.." Sesame grinned. "So when I win, you don't say you could of done something else." Sesame cracked a wide grin. No fucking way was he going to have anyone make an excuse. If he was going to keep fighting he'd like to make sure this man didn't have another trick. To prove he was stronger. If he ran, at least he knew he ran at his foe when they were at their best. He watched carefully as Ward was pulling something off he formed some sort of barrage of clones! And he could sense they were all just as strong as Ward! What the hell was this guy doing? Serious before this was crazy. He formed these clones like that how was he going to beat all of these guys.
He didn't know most of them but one was Derry. He narrowed his eyes, no way this guy had their abilities so easily. He must have been doing something. Sesame raised his palms. It must have been some sort of trick. That would explain it. They were strong but they were faked to have great power? It made little sense for Ward to be potentially seven times stronger than his current level. Assuming that they actually had his power. If Ward indeed was holding back that much then this fight would have ended ages ago. No one could be that strong. Sesame blasted forward towards Ward and the clones. He would spin forward to send a kick downwards at Ward. He knew that meant he'd most likely face the clones but that was fine. He rather not throw a strong move out before he had an idea what he was dealing with.
When Ward first arrived in the mortal realm he would have treated this situation very differently, between fighting and the reactions to the banter. It wasn't that long ago but it felt like a lifetime with all that had happened in such a short amount of time, but he had changed more during that time than he had in decades before. His routines of training and studying were strict, but now he had experienced so much and learned so much more than anticipated to lead to this moment. There was a time when he would have simply brushed off Sesame's comments as lacking insight or overconfidence, but he had come to learn that mortals bantered in general, and it was simply a normal part of combat for reasons he didn't understand even if he accepted it.
"How about if you win we will pretend this situation never took place and anyone questioning it will get nothing from me. When I win however, you'll consider helping me in the future if I call on you for said help."
Ward's eyes opened after he spoke, but his hands stayed clasped together, his aura still seeming to grow by barely noticeable degrees, as did the wall behind him, creaking as it did so. At first glance it might have seemed the concentration and energy he was putting in was toward the created clones in front of him, but it was to something else currently out of view. Each of the clones kept their positions, but it seemed Sesame did the same, and even that moment of hesitation was buying him the time he was looking for. It was an intricate distraction, and perhaps a dramatic one even for Ward, but a distraction all the same. Now it was a matter of how much time he could buy, or if he could buy enough.
Sesame looked to try and move past his clones and attack Ward directly, but the clones were still at least partially attached to Ward, and they weren't nearly as useless as the ones Sesame had blown past earlier in the fight, nor did they need to be controlled quite as directly either. The main problem with the clones however was that while they were still creations, they were given just a minuscule amount of free will, and the way they were created was meant to allow them to act at least in part to how they original might from how Ward remembered them, but as Ward was well aware that had the potential to backfire.
Kowlin was on the outside furthest from Sesame, and seemed to make the least effort to stop him rushing in, almost as if watching and struggling against helping Ward specifically, but Taori and Phakk were quick to move, perhaps too much so as Phakk was tripped up and found themselves almost falling right into Ward as they stopped facing him. Taori however Stood their ground just in front of Phakk, leaving two of the clones between Ward and Sesame. Erebos missed grabbing at Sesame's legs by inches at most, but Derry and Kon looked to work together as they pincered Sesame from either side trying to tackle him to the ground and stop him short of reaching Ward at all.
Seasme charged forward to face off with Ward and his clones. Though Ward did call out if he lost then he wouldn't speak of this but if he won then Sesame would have to work with him sometime. He didn't work for free. So Sesame just ignored it outright. He moved into another get close but he saw the clones move. He watched as one of the clones was able to get right in front of him. Another one of them barely missed grabbing at his leg. Sesame would glance, Taori was a barrier to get past. While Derry and Kon were moving to pincer him.
So it was time to deal with that. Sesame leaped up placing a hand on the Taori clone's head if he landed. Then both legs shot down to smash into the clones of Derry and Kon to smash them into the ground. If that was good he would spin grabbing onto Taori's neck after planting his feet from the kicks. He then pull his body up from that awkward spot to lift Taori headfirst and slam him into the ground with a large thud. That didn't stop the other clones of course. But he was going to have taken them out before he reached Ward to make an attack. They were quite the annoying defense and he was sure his actions wouldn't go as planned. Ward was a crafty guy, he assumed like the other clones they were easy to defeat but they had tactics and Ward would use the numbers to try to overwhelm him.
The lack of response was a pretty clear response in and of itself, which annoyed Ward at least a bit, but he didn't let it show. Chances are it would have been hard to notice even if he ahead among all that was going on, and perhaps that alone was part of the reason Sesame hadn't responded, but there wasn't much time to dwell on banter given all the movement going on in front of him. This was the first time Ward had not only created this many clones, but used it in such a way to give them near free will, and while it worked to a degree, the truth was they weren't all responding how he would hoped. Some were near throwing themselves into while others were literally, but Ward noticed the few that looked either reluctant or lackadaisical. Perhaps more than three of these creations was too much, and double that definitely caused some issues, but this was as good a time as any to get a practical test of how they'd perform.
These creations Ward had created were also far from replacements for real fighters, but they continued doing enough of their purpose for now. Even as Sesame began directly attacking them, Kowlin was still not acting quite as the others were, and now it was obvious, as well as strange that one of his own creations would act such a way. Perhaps attempting to give them free will in the way that the originals would have it was the real problem, because Kowlin himself definitely wouldn't go out of his way to help Ward, but this was something else entirely. He was still connected to them however, motioning with his eyes towards Erebos, then at Kowlin, at the Erebos clone moved away from Sesame and to the Kowlin clone.
His eyes turned back to see Phakk turning away now the one standing between him and the fight as Taori was being taken down and seeing both Kon and Derry were getting back to their feet. These weren't impressive fighters, they couldn't use techniques and not even as much as ki blasts in their current states, but they were far more durable than the earlier creations. The Taori clone however wasn't doing near as good as the facade of Taori lifted and it was a motionless stone creation, no features aside from arms and legs that began to crumble to dust.
Just a bit more time was all he needed as the wall behind him expanded further, now noticeably bigger than when it started, and the same could be said for Ward's aura. The Phakk clone stepped forward and extended her arms, making it obvious she had full intentions of not letting Sesame past, and by now Derry and Kon had gotten up up and were rushing Sesame again. Giving a huff of a sigh, Ward's eyes moved over as even he had missed what had happened with the other two clones as now only Erebos stood and Kowlin was falling to pieces much like Taori had, leaving four of the six standing. Charging back towards the fight Erebos looked to tackle Sesame, and Kon and Derry once again were coming from either side as the jumped, Derry aiming for Sesame's legs and Kon at his torso as all three looked to tackle him once more.
Ward suddenly fell to his knees and slammed his hands flat against the ground as the wall behind him shook as did the ground for a brief moment. There was suddenly a low pitched but loud volume humming coming from behind the wall and Ward's aura began to fall back to normal and the now clearly fake energy signature from each clone was gone. Ward was putting his full concentration into something clearly, but whatever it was wasn't obvious or visible for now.
Sesame glanced around, these clones were not weak at all. He had taken down one of them but the other two he smashed into the ground still seemed to be doing pretty well. Guess he was going to have to do something about that. Just taking them down one at a time was not going to work. As he tried to move forward the other Kai he had made was in his way. The demon-looking one tackled him sending him skidding back. He growled in annoyance trying to pry him off before noticing the other two were going to attack him! Sesame had enough of this and knowing that the first clone had a limit, he'd allow his aura to explode. A powerful blast of ki would escape his body to make the clone let go of him and blast the other clones away.
Sesame stood in the rubble of the Ki explosion breathing out in exhaustion as he glanced towards Ward, he was forming something. Whatever it was seemed to make the clones fade. Guess he was focusing on some large structure. Sesame face twisted into even more annoyance. He was not built to handle fighting a giant fucking tower! Sesame kicked off launching towards Ward to attack him while he was focused on that. When he would be distracted with these big creations, Sesame would hopefully use this opening to land some solid blows on the Kai and take him down a peg. He brings his right leg back aiming to slam into the jaw of the Kai. Then he'd bring his left arm sharply down to slam on the top of Ward's skull if the kick landed.
While his attention was more on what he was creating than trying to micromanage anything else in front of him, the other clones were still up all the same. Unlike his previous attempts, these creations didn't need to be hand held in the same way and had a level of autonomy, even if it wasn't anything that would allow for fighting like a truly cognizant fighter. The clone of Taori and Kowlin were down and out, and now so was Erebos, leaving three of the six up. Phakk who was still in front of Ward was no worse for wear, though Kon and Derry were barely held together from the blast and Derry at least was missing a large chunk of his upper body and his right arm and enough chunks out of his left to make standing difficult. Kon was showing battle damage, but as they looked to Derry for a third attempt to pincer attack, the Derry clone took a step to move and completely fell apart into dirt.
Ward's creation wasn't perfectly sculpted as he would have liked, but at this point it was function over aesthetic, and he at at least managed to fix the intricacies enough to be workable, having no more time to focus solely on it with his creations quickly dropping. He just needed a few more seconds though, and it looked like Sesame was going to complicate things, but as he was getting close enough to attack, the Phakk clone moved to brace themselves to hopefully absorb the blow, but the Kon clone dove in to try and do the same, both helping and hurting the situation. The leg was blocked by Kon, but unfortunately it only led to them being slammed right into the second of the two creations left.
The creations were somewhere between a complete success and a complete cluster fuck to be blunt, and Ward know he's need a lot of tweaking to use the technique in the future, but for now they had at least bought him time. Jumping to his feet Ward moved as both clones came crashing down right where he had been crouched, both turning back to dirt and dust. Running towards the wall it wasn't but a moment that Ward was out of sight. Mere seconds passed as a large first brought through the towering wall as a second looked to break apart what was left and knock it over and pushing and kicking the pieces at Sesame. In view at least from the torso up that wasn't obstructed visually by dust and falling wall was a very realistic looking Ward, except something close to fifteen foot tall. Ward himself was no where to be seen outside of this large version of him, but his energy signature was coming from the entire large Ward, so either this was Ward or Ward was somehow projecting his energy into it, as there was no energy signature of him elsewhere.
Raising it's arms into the sky it let out a lout grunting sound and moved its arms down as if pulling at something heavy as a meteor shower began to rain down in a fairly wide radius around the two of them, pelting the ground with denting blows. The large Ward hadn't moved otherwise to get closer, but once again it kicked a section of the wall still standing towards Sesame again, destroying what was left of said wall.
Sesame had hoped to move in to attack Ward. But the clones he thought were done were still moving. Where had they come from? The Kick was met by the clone of Kon but he did manage to knock the two last clones away. But that meant he had failed to reach Ward before he pulled whatever he was aiming for off! He watched as Ward moved away. What was he planning? Sesame would finally find out as he saw the large hand burst through the wall. Sesame flipped back to see a large fifteen-foot version of Ward? What the hell, and it seemed his ki was coming from it. But it was a construct like the others. He seemed to be inside it like he was controlling a magical mech.
Sesame had to dart around as the large construct kicked the chunks of wall at him. He was able to dart around and avoid most of them but one block slammed into him sending him skidding to the ground. As that was happening. What was worse was what occurred next as Ward seemed to pull down at the air raining down meteors down towards him! Sesame looked up shocked. What the hell was going on? Sesame flipped up dodging the impact of one of them but being blasted by the shockwave. Burn marks seared on his arms and chest. That was just the first of many of course. Sesame pulled his right arm back. He had little choice in his mind but to fight back! Sesame aura surged outwards as his power increased to try to keep up pace with Ward. He pulled his arms back. He fired them off forming three shockwaves. They would smash through the Metor's and fly towards the construct of Ward to smash into it and destroy it along with hopefully heavily damaging Ward.

His clones were down, his wall had fallen by his own magical hand, but the sky was raining chunks of magical rock and Ward was at least for the moment in a position of power. There was no giant death ray of a technique he had been building up, and he wasn't destroying the land with magical fire, but he had done enough to push Sesame back, and he had kept him at bay long enough to try something a bit different. Now it was a matter of how Sesame might respond, and as confident as Ward was before, he felt even more so that he was in a position to respond .
Up until now, this was just a giant version of Ward, but it seemed that it began to cover with the same aura Ward normally had. This was clearly no illusion, trick, or light show, as the ground looked to singe a bit around the large figure and the light cast a shadow in multiple angles over the battlefield, but more than that Ward's energy seemed to push even higher as Sesame increased his as well. From the aura multiple large energy arms shot out as Sesame fired off his attacks and the large Ward braced himself in a defensive stance. This technique had only been used once before in a practical sense, and it was draining and quite honestly painful to use given the strain it put on Ward, but much like before, it was necessary to stop multiple attacks in such a way as well as what was to come afterwards.
Each attack fired at Ward was stopped by each of the energy aura created arms as they strained against the energy. Slowly each hand moved together as if crushing each of the three attacks together into one large energy ball that shrunk as the energy of the three was somewhat negated by Ward's defense. In time the three hands became one, holding a dark blue energy ball that looked to infuse with some of Ward's energy, as the arm pulled back and flew forward, throwing the energy of the attack right back at Sesame.

Sesame fired off the three attacks and he was hoping it'd do something to Ward. However, when he felt Ward's power increased he realized, Ward intended to take it and then fire back an attack against him. Everything was stopped by this powerful barrier formed by Ward. He watched as Ward combined his three attacks together in the giant creature. Sesame looked up bracing himself ready to face whatever was coming. There was not much else he could do against Ward. Truly, this man was the master of defense, he was on the back foot the whole time. Ward blocked each and every move and fried back in force. Considering, Ward's power was higher than his even without the power boost. Sesame just had to brace then figure out his next move.
Sesame watched as the blast came slamming down and shot him into the ground with great force. Sesame coughed out a heap of blood as he was planted through the ground. Sesame was laid out in the rubble and there was not much he could do. Pain was shooting through his body, he was not in a good shape. Sesame would slowly pull himself off the ground as he sighed out, "Strong.." Blood dripped from his lips. What was he going to do? He didn't want to be captured. Nor was he gonna serve this guy. So he needed to escape. He could head back to the earth realm and he could find a way to escape. Once he was out of Ward's sight then he'd be home free. Sesame staggered fully to his feet planting his feet. He was going to have to figure out how to get out of sight though.

Ward wasn't ignorant to the damage he had done, but empathy wasn't his main concern right now. When the attack struck the aura receded back to its normal state as the large figure moved to stand over Sesame, looking down upon him. Ward's energy signature left the creation, but there was no sign of Ward physically doing so as well until he was suddenly standing over Sesame much like the much larger version Ward had now left. Stepping back as Sesame began to get up again, he slid his hands behind his back and watched with an emotionless face.
"You never responded earlier to my terms, so I'm taking that as your way of dismissing them. Unfortunate."
Despite the amount of time he had taken to create the looming Ward above them, he waved a hand and it fizzled and disappeared as if never there to begin with. Wiping the dirt and dust from his clothes, he adjusted them and moved his hands back behind his back before looking back to Sesame.
"I believe this fight has come to what I feel is its logical conclusion."
Looking around them, everything Ward had created from the largest structure to the smallest speck of dust vanished. There was nothing there but the holes, dents, and blood they had created or left there due to the fight.
"If you don't wish to help me I can't force it upon you. In a sense I could perhaps, but I won't. If you with to leave, then you may do so now. Do find more appropriate ways of gathering information in Otherworld in the future. The eyes of Ward have fallen upon you now."
Staring directly into Sesame's eyes, he meant that quite literally.
"I tire of fighting, so unless you wish this to continue, now is your chance to flee."
