Saiba-Ban glanced as Kon asked what did she would owe him now if he bought the armor for it. "Well, it is quite simple really. I am trying to rise in the Dirty Snakes. Just if someone asks about my performance let them know I do my job quite well." Saiba-Ban calmly said. "After all, the farther I rise in the boss's organization, I will become even richer. So investing in the present to make more in the future? Well, that is a no-brainer to me." It was better to explain he didn't want anything crazy. He didn't want Kon to not trust him. He was trying to do something that helped him sure, but it was nothing that harmed Kon. Unless she felt her position in the group was under threat by him.
Kon then noted the place was somewhere in the central city. So they just need to go look around. She could take the Jet Squirrel and go find it. He would hop up. "Sure let's go do it." He taps his head. "I can sense Ki. If these guys are selling armor like this one of them will stand out among the crowd. I should be able to find it. Then I'll get you some of the top-of-the-line armor. I bet they hide it so people don't go looking on the site for it. You don't want someone planning to raid your stuff from an online catalog with your address. So let's get out there and get the armor." He would get up but not before looking over the taxes. He hands them to Kon. "By the way, these look pretty good. It should be correct."

It seemed as if most of his kindness was tied to his rising in the ranks. if that was the case without any more underlying motivations, Kon would accept it. Considering she was the least trusted elite at this point of time, there wasn't much she could do to really help out with him, but at the very least he did know how to get on her good side with these gifts so long as they actually worked. She would definitely give them that. Still, for now she would keep her eye out on the cabbage man, just on the off chance what he did may had contradicted what he said.
For some reason Saiba-Ban also had a nifty little ability to scan the crowd, discerning the vendors from one to another. That would help for this one purchase, although she had doubt it would really help her get the soda she wanted all this time. At the very least, he did manage to finish filing her taxes rather quickly which satisfied her. Simply putting the papers on the table, she moved out of the meeting room and locked the door. Kon wasn't too concerned about the fact someone would break in and steal it, seeing as many of the snakes were too afraid to try and do such a thing against her. "My jet squirrel is outside," she muttered as she made her way to the parking lot.
There it sat, the beautiful bike that Derry had given her for her pay raise. Without saying another word she hopped onto the back, pushing a button to open a storage system where a helmet laid. "Wear that. We don't want your massive brain spilling everywhere." She said dismissively, as she began to rev the engine of her jet scooter. He should be honored seeing as she only had one helmet (not that she wore one regularly when she took this bad boy for a spin anyways). "Hold on tight, I don't go granny style either." Kon would give Saiba-Ban a minute to prep himself, and if he weren't ready by then, she would already begin to accelerate off, ignoring all traffic laws as she began to search for this armor vendor.
Saiba-Ban would follow Kon as it was time for them to go and get this armor she wanted to get. He would head overlooking the jet squirrel. It was pretty cool looking, to be honest. But it seemed a bit impractical. Guess for them they could ride in style though. She offered him a helmet, guess to protect his head. "I'll take it." He would put it on even though he didn't really need it. He would listen to her. He didn't wanna have to explain he was way stronger than an average person. She would probably just get a bit confused by it. She did seem the brightest tool in the box. Nor was he trying to annoy her. He would get on the bike as she noted to hold on tight, noting that she didn't go slow at all. "Right, that is fine with me. I'd not have it any other way." He hold on tight as Kon would begin driving off. No kidding either they were going very fast! Lucky, he was holding on so they should be fine. He just watched as they drifted by. He could run faster than this but it was nice not having to. Just driving along, though they were bound to get in some trouble. Not that they cared, they were crooks afterall!

While Kon still preferred flying if she was in a hurry, the simple joy of a jet squirrel was still hard to beat. As she zip through the streets, weaving through the different cars there were, there were a couple moments where she had nearly hit a few vehicles although she had managed to dodge right at the last moment. Ignoring the beeps behind her, she would make her way into the district where the armor shop was supposedly located. "You can figure out where the hell we're going. I don't memorize addresses." She said, shouting over the wind, hoping that Saiba-Ban would be able to understand her.
The part of the city they were in now did look rather dicey, quite crime ridden in comparison to the rest of Central City. However, Kon had already ventured here multiple times on Dirty Snakes work, and as such was unfazed by the sights. She was generally familiar with the area itself, able to avoid many different obstacles although she never cared to look at shop names. It was for the passenger to worry about, seeing as she was more focused on the road (although just barely). "Tell me where to turn and get to it!"
She was going pretty fast yah. She was a criminal at heart. She was about to crash into a few cars but she was skillfully avoiding them. Though the honks from behind gave a good idea how close of a shave they were taking. Running into one of those cars would not be a fun experience but no way he was going to tell her how to drive. That sounded like a terrible idea. As for her asking where they were going, he nodded. "Don't worry I got an idea where it is." He remembered most of the address. It may have been smarter for them to get a copy or something before they left. Then again with this speed, he might have just lost it while they were driving.
Regardless of that She seemed to have some sort of idea to go. They were heading into the more dirty parts of the city. Guess something Derry would have to clean up in the future. So the crime could hide under the surface instead of boiling to the top. She called out to tell her when to turn when they were at the place. He gave a nod as he began to sense out. To find a high power level so they could find this armor shop. He eventually sensed a larger than average and remembered the address. They seemed close to there. "Turn right here." Saiba-Ban calmly said. "And keep driving to the end of the road. I sense a higher-than-average power. That is probably their shop along with their muscle."

Honestly, he could take her time. As picky as she typically was with how she spent it, Kon enjoyed just riding around on this bike and having a bit of fun. At the same though, she really would like to figure out how this all worked and see if she could actually get what she had asked for, especially seeing as future missions could get rather dicey. Still, for now Saiba-Ban was graced with silence rather than her typical insistence to hurry up as she silently began to challenge herself. Through some miracle, she had not encountered any police, a large surprise compared to the road she typically faced but hey she had enough policemen for a lifetime.
Finally, it appeared as if he had pinpointed the people selling the product. The moment he would give his directions, Kon made a sharp right turn, and if Saiba-Ban wasn't careful the momentum of such a maneuver could easily rip him off. It was on him though if he didn't heed the warning that she gave earlier. Nonetheless, though she followed his instructions to the best of her abilities. Now that she wasn't having as much fun driving through, she found herself just as irritable as normal. "Like their muscle is worth anything," she muttered as she drove until they reached the entrance of the store.
Just as Saiba-Ban had said, there were two large men standing in front of a rather shady looking building. They both gave the two strange glares as she parked her jet squirrel, dismounting the vehicle. Without flinching she walked up to the building, returning a glare of her own. "Tell me if they want to do some funny business." She whispered as she continued into the shop.
She really didn’t stop at all. The sharp turn by Kon lead to him almost being thrown off the bike. But he was able to hold on just enough. “You maybe wanna say something before you go change directions like that?” Saiba-Ban snapped a bit annoyed. He knew it was not going to be much use. When they arrived, she didn’t seem to be worried about the muscle. “Oh no, I don’t think the muscle is too much to worry about. Even I can throw him around. Can’t say I tell you how strong you are. Going to assume you are pretty strong.”
Saiba-Ban waved. He kept walking towards to go get the armor. She noted that if they wanted to try something then she was would be more than willing to cause trouble. “No, we don’t need to do that. These guys will be reasonable and if not? We will deal with it when we get there.” Saiba-Ban stuffed his hand in his pockets. He would head inside glancing at the people who owned the place. “Hello, my name is Saiba-Ban. I am here to grab some armor. Your best battle armor. I don’t wanna see that silly crap. I want something that can protect this girl for real.” He would flip his hand back to point at Kon. Hopefully, these guys would take the hint and not try to cause any problems.

"I warned you to hold on tight," was the only response Kon even gave in response to Saiba-Ban's annoyed complaint. Well, she wasn't wrong. Although she didn't say when exactly she would turn, it wasn't her business to inform him her every single move either. Even if he were to say anything more, she would most likely ignore it with a cheerful expression on her face, seeing as all the talk broke her concentration and she wanted to arrive at the shop as soon as possible.
Fortunately, it didn't seem as if the muscle was too worrying. Good, she didn't bring her scouter mask today and as much as she loved to rough some people up, if it brought up the prices of the goods, was it really worth buying it to begin with? Whatever, Kon was never the negotiator anyways. She left all the talk to Saiba-Ban, and allowed him to do all the work.
The guy behind the counter squinted at her, clearly not anticipating such a small girl for a customer. In fact, he clearly was having trouble to take the two seriously, letting out a scoff. From behind Saiba-Ban though, Kon decided to see if she could do a bit of "convincing" simply by creating a ball of ki in her hand and playing around with it. That appeared enough to convince him. However, she would quickly disperse the ball if Saiba-Ban turned around to see what was going on. "I'll see what I can get." He said, turning around for a bit and rummaging through his wares.
It was a few minutes before he finally came out with a rather tacky looking armor, one that actively made her squint. "It'll protect you," he said once he noticed her grimace. "Look, I chose the one without shoulder pads, so just wear a jacket over it or something. This is for battle wear, not every day fashion." Seeing as she had no other option, she reluctantly agreed to try it on. Well, she had to give it to them. It was a lot more comfortable than it looked.
As much as she wanted to see how it fared against an attack, it was a little bit difficult to test it out. "Fine, whatever. This works I guess." She grumbled, nodding at Saiba-Ban to purchase it for her.
Saiba-Ban saw that the guy was going to get the armor. But something had happened a bit before that. A spark of ki behind him. He glanced at Kon. "You know I sensed that right." He cracked a grin. "Not that I care." Saiba-Ban was not sure if she was trying to hide it or didn't care but he felt the need to make sure she knew. He didn't wanna cause a big fuss in this place. But it was Kon's armor she was trying to get. If she lost her chance to get what she wanted, then that was her fault. He would watch as the man went to grab the armor that was going to be used by Kon. He grabbed a nice-looking piece of armor. She didn't seem to like the look. "The armor not meant to look good. As he says it meant to protect you."
Saiba-Ban was glad that this guy thought made that point already. Because that seemed to be enough for Kon to try it on. And it seemed to fit when she tried it on. And now to pay. He would grab some money and would roll it out to hand it to the man. It was a good portion of his cash but he was willing to pay it out. "Here you go, sir. Feel free to count it out." He glanced at Kon, "So guess I was right that armor would be pretty good right? Though we will have to see how well it does in combat right?" Not that he wanted to fight Kon but he'd rather not leave here and find out later the armor they bought was truly some rip-off model.

"Ugh, whatever." Kon said sarcastically, a bit irritated in the fact that he had sensed that. Honestly, she didn't realize that he was capable of picking up something like that. She had thought energy sensing was limited to just feeling how strong a person was and that was it, just like her scouter. Maybe it would be a skill that she should pick up in the future if that were the case after all. "I know. It still doesn't change the fact that it looks like shit though." She said with a grumble, although the fact that she could just put her jacket over it did at least alleviate her worries.
Nonetheless, at the mention of her satisfaction, he purchased the armor for her. As he did, she was beginning to try and take it off, especially seeing as she didn't particularly want to go back onto the streets wearing battle grade armor to begin with. "It's fine, I guess." She replied when he would ask her how it was. "It'll get the job done." However, there was something that did catch her attention, one that caused her to smirk at the green alien. "Want to give me a punch. I can handle it." Kon patted her chest, opening herself up and giving him the chance to hurt him. Honestly, it wasn't every day Kon allowed someone to give her a free hit without retaliation. Saiba-Ban should consider himself honored and take such an opportunity in her opinion.
“You can wear armor under your clothes. You can hide the fact you have the armor. Just think about it that way.” Sure the armor didn’t look great, but it was going to protect you. That was the point of buying it. “You can probably get it customized as well. Not sure where that be the case, but i’m sure you can figure it out.” Yes, there had to be some people that could probably make Kon some better-looking armor. Anyway, she wanted the armor to get tested she be fine with him testing it. He could sense that her power was only ‘five.’ This was really odd but she wanted to get hit? Maybe there was something that Saiba-Ban was unable to sense? Well, if she wanted to get hit he was not going to stop her. “I’m a lot stronger than you but I’m gonna assume your holding back your power. So i’m gonna hit you with full strength if you wanna test how it feels. I apologize.” Saiba-Ban would bring his arm back to tap Kon in the stomach. It was not meant to be super hard. But it was enough to actually hurt Kon or at least try to hurt her. Afterall, no way to test the armor if he didn’t use some force.

Yeah, it was easy enough to hide the armor so it really didn't matter. Besides, chances were, Kon would be wearing this thing while she was out trying to do a mission rather than when she was casually walking down the street. In a true life or death situation, she probably wouldn't give a shit whether she looked ridiculous in this garb anyways. Besides honestly, she would rather have this armor damaged rather than any of her favorite shirts or jackets ripped anyways. They were always hard to come by and typically cost a fortune to replace, especially when she had them custom made.
"Just attack me anything." Kon said with a grumble, letting her power flit back to the way it was typically. "Are you questioning my strength, because I'm pretty sure I can flatten you pretty easily." Of course, it was then when Saiba-Ban decided to hit her with just a tap. If he could sense power, it was probably due to the fact that he had sensed her before she had let up some of her strength. Now that it was better though, she would gesture him once more. "Hit me with something that will hurt. Come on, don't be a coward." She said, punching her fists together. "Like this, ok? I can easily handle it."
Saiba-Ban sensed as he tapped that Kon power seemed to go up. Confirming that she had been hiding her power. "Yo..alright so your clearly pretty strong." Saiba-Ban pulled back his hand blowing on it slightly. She really wanted to get hit full force huh. If she was sure about it then guess he would oblige her. "Well if your sure I'll attack you with all I got." Saiba-Ban claws would sharpen out. "But I will warn you, you better have the armor handy to block this or it will hurt." Saiba-Ban was not going to back down such a challenge. So he began to focus his ki into his very claws. To pool the energy in his body to attack. It had been a bit since he had needed to attack someone. But it was an odd change of pace to be doing it to help someone instead of fighting to defend his very life. Saiba-Ban resolved himself to attack then launched off. He let off a barrage of claws strikes right down at the center of Kon's mass. Somewhere the armor would be most effective. He was going to attack with all his might but that didn't mean he was going to aim to seriously hurt her. He attacked her in a spot she be more than ready to react and test the armor's defensive capabilities on!

As Saiba-Ban began to charge power into his claws, Kon quickly popped the armor right back on her body. Seeing as this was a test run, she didn't particularly worry about looking bad or not. However, a thought crossed her mind before the attack was launched. "Wait a minute would this damage the clothes-" before she could even finish speaking, Saiba-Ban launched forward slashing his claws across her chest. She expected pain, seeing as the impact typically brought both damage and agony with it, yet to her surprise she felt nothing.
The claws didn't penetrate the armor. In fact, it hardly even left a mark, While she could definitely feel the force, it wasn't painful by any means, the power absorbed by whatever the hell this armor was made out of. "It... doesn't hurt at all." She said surprised, clearly impressed by the strength of the armor. Huh, that was excellent! That meant this was far more effective than she had thought. Maybe it was a great idea she had gotten this after all! Honestly, this was supposed to be a random throwaway buy, seeing as she didn't really expect anything better than a bullet proof vest or something. But no, even for ki infused claws, it didn't hurt. "Man this is pretty good. Nice find." She commented, once it had all ended. Maybe she should wear this more often if it was that effective at absorbing damage.
Yes, it would damage her clothes. Wish he had thought of that before he attacked her. Guess he had to hope she would not get too mad about that. Saiba-Ban was not trying to get smacked right after he did this. The claws came flying forward but they hit the armor and didn't pierce. He kept attacking but the armor held strong. It was good that he had an eye for good armor. He didn't wanna get her that weak stuff. That armor was gonna chip his claws! He would pull back and blow on his hands. "Right that armor I got you is extra tough." He would rub his hand. "Felt like I was gonna chip a claw. Not like they grow back that easily."
She seemed to also be impressed in the armor surprised she had not been harmed. She even noted it was a nice find. "Of course." Saiba-Ban huffed with pride. "We are on the same team. I ain't gonna get you something that is not helpful." Too bad that cost him a lot of money. Oh well, it was worth making a good dealing with the Dirty Snakes. Getting a good standing with all the members he could be going to be key to his rise! "Well, we finished here? I don't think we need to beat anyone down. Considering the armor is working so well. Guess that means we can return to base?" Or were they gonna split from here? He didn't care either way but he didn't wanna leave any unfinished business hanging out to dry.
