Zerori's Thread PL: 36,000
Heaven was… not exactly what Zerori was expecting, if she were being honest. If anything, she was kind of hoping that she was wrong about all the rumors about angels, harps and clouds. Still, seeing ghosts with bodies was honestly really jarring. “Of course they’d get to keep their body when they die,” Zerori muttered, crouched down behind a gate as she looked around at the wide expanse of a building. It took a LOT of work but after sneaking into one of the many secret entrances to escape Hell, Zerori had managed to finagle her way into Heaven. It was risky, too, since the Ogres that patrolled had made plenty of threats of making her a ‘permanent resident’ if they caught her but she hardly had any choice.
After searching high and low for Amara in the cesspit of the damned, Zerori had to find out from an irrefutable source that she hadn’t done anything worthy of being in Hell.
“Look, I’m not surprised,” Zerori muttered to herself, running around the corner and rushing on all fours to scramble into an open car for cover. “-Just disappointed.” She imagined Amara was the get down and kick ass type and imagined she’d probably done some pretty bad stuff while on Plant. Still, she wasn’t really one to talk. “Where the hell are you?” Zerori grumbled, getting settled in the driver seat of the car as she looked around. “I was pretty confident she’d be at the-” Turning around to look out the back window, Zerori read off the name on the building, “-”Gym for Incredible Winners’”...” Her eyes twitched at the weird name before she scoffed and hopped out of the vehicle.
This wasn’t working! Running up to a bunch of the bodybuilders that were enjoying a perfect day in their perfect afterlife, Zerori rattled off her demands with her arms crossed impatiently, “Hey! Have you seen a lady with a bad attitude around here! Her name’s Amara and I’m trying to find her so I can find out who killed her!”
Bound by muscle and good nature, the handful Zerori approached looked between each other in confusion before the one in front of her responded, “We don’t know an Amara with a bad attitude. Are you sure you’re here for the right person?” Zerori looked him in the eye with a dead-panned expression.
“She threw me into a building to protect me, I’m FAIRLY certain I’m looking for the right person!” She grumbled, even as they held up their hands in a placating gesture. Zerori let out a loud yell of frustration.
How was she going to find her now?!
