"Well, uh, yeah! I'm sure it'll be great." Amara scratched the back of her ethereal head. To tell the truth, this guy seemed just as eccentric as his father, except minus the murderous tendencies. "All I can really say is try not to die out there. Again. If you even CAN die? I haven't really met a physical ghost before during my time on the living realm so no clue on my end how they even function at all." Though leaving him with JUST that as advice seemed a bit cheap, Amara shrugging: "I can give you some more broad pointers on how not to freak everyone out by existing, but there's no universal advice that could apply in every situation."
Maybe just stick to the standards. "Don't talk too much unless someone speaks to you first. Be polite but not weird about it. Don't go around casually flexing your power. DEFINITELY don't show off any ghostlike features. Appear small and unimpressive, which means people will either overlook you entirely or not see you as a threat. Don't stay too long in one place. People are nosy and if any locals pick up wind of a new person around town they might try to do all sorts of things under the sun even if most of it is in good faith. And uh, try not to mention your father too much."
Yakone would hear her advice and almost like a sudden instinct, he would attempt to hug her as he had a smile on his face.
"You know I never had a friend before. And yet I feel like we have became friends almost instantly. The advice you have given me, I will keep it in my thoughts and use it for the best of my ability."
He would let go of her afterwards if she did allow the hug. If she didn't allow the hug, he would just step back anyways as a portal appeared just behind him. It was a portal that only allowed ghost to enter through it and no other physical beings. This portal was a portal that popped up for ghost when it was their time to leave Otherworld given a certain amount of period that they could actually stay in Otherworld. He would let out a smile as he looked at the portal.
"It seems like my time here has come to an end. I am not sure when I will meet you the next time. But I promise to make you proud...."
"Oof, careful big guy!" Though there was little risk as Amara's base power eclipsed even Yakone's maximum. If the ghost had ill intent, it wouldn't matter much in the end. "How's it feel hugging a spirit anyway? Probably weird considering we're both technically ghosts, but you're MORE physical but I also am physical to a degree." To Amara it felt like a small amount of pressure compressing her torso. It was hard to feel any sort of warmth or emotion from a dead man. "Righto! Just keep all that stuff in mind, try not to explode while you're out there, and always respect traffic laws. It is a shame that many fine people on Earth do not do that last part."
On cue a magic portal tore the fabric of space as it popped in quite rudely beside them, Amara glancing at it with mild curiosity. "Neat. I'm assuming that a portal like this won't allow anything else through?" That'd make sneaking out way too easy for folks that hadn't formed Demonic pacts and sacrificed souls to leave. "Yeah, sure. Come by and visit whenever you want, not like I'm going anywhere else." Yakone once again asked for her name, apparently forgetting it in the kerfuffle of existing. "Oh. My name's Amara, actually. What a coincidence am I right?" With a wink she'd give Yakone a playful shove into his personal portal, aiming to send the man off on his journey.
As the portal had opened just behind him, he would look at her as she was giving him advice on what to do when he gets out there. He would finally learn her name as he stood there in shock as she had lied about her name but for what purpose.. he would attempt to hold onto her hand as she tried to push him into the portal.
“No wait, come with me please..I.. I can’t do this journey alone.. I don’t have anyone I can trust…”
As he fell into the portal….. his body would entirely go through while hers was rejected… Yakone was truly given a second chance at life while hers was rejected entirely. Tears had flown off his face and the next second he was in a warp drive just seeing time and space all around him before landing on snow on his back as he rose to his feet and watched the portal closing in front of him… Seeing one last image of Amara before it closed and as he reached his hand like a mirror image and trying to touch it with the palm of his hands, it had closed entirely….
As he traveled through the snow freezing up. He hugged himself and looking at the blizzard before him. Thinking about Amara and how he was going to make it on his own…
"I can't go with ya, dude." She said lightly, pulling her hand away with a quick tug. "Couldn't even if I wanted to, and... I don't think I really want to quite yet. A few folks have already offered to work on ways to bring me kickin' back to a fleshy body alive and well again and I didn't DECLINE but I didn't really ask for it either." By that point Yakone had already been sucked deep enough into the dimensional gateway that he had no way of reaching back out to her. Amara stood at the entrance, hand's pressed up against it like some sort of invisible barrier was preventing her from going any further.
"You'll do great out there dude! Just keep my words in mind and try not to cause too much trouble, unless you wanna end up back here as a permanent resident for a SECOND time." If a ghost perished, there was no way Yemma would let them escape again so easily. "Bye~!" Yakone was gone, the portal closing with a snap and leaving her alone in the blackened sulfuric fields. "Geez, I wonder how many people I'm gonna keep running into." Amara glanced around, feeling a bit empty now that she had nothing else to do. "I'm going home to get a slushie..."
