Cleaning Up House -

"I'm inclined to agree, but uhh, I kinda feel some irony in the statement, considering the one delivering it, hehe."

From around the bend, a young Saiyan girl would reveal herself without hesitation. She'd arrived just on time to witness the the ironically barbaric display of a uniquely white tailed Saiyan striking down one of his own. The words the man spoke rung true, though it was not simply for the boorish brute, but for the actions the man had taken against him.

"I would say use your words, not your fists... but yeah, Saiyans or... whatever..."

The girl stood at a mere five feet in height, and seemed to be dressed in fashion commonly seen on Earth. In spite of the temperature of the saiba-wastes, she wore a casual looking white sweater that was a bit oversized, black stockings on her legs, and a pair of bright red boots. Her hair was black and messy, with a similar spikiness about it that most pure blooded Saiyans exhibited. Her tail however, was well hidden within her sweater; and with her energy suppressed to such a low degree, it would be easy to mistake the girl for simply another human.

"Boy..." Zuqetta began as she drew nearer, taking in the site of heaping ash pile, "You sure don't pull your punches... err, pew pew blasts, hehe."

Her tone seemed apathetic, as though she moved and spoke without desire or care. Though she gave a soft smile with each laugh, the smile would quickly fade as her sight darted from one thing to the next.

"Anyways, I was wonderin' why the Saiba-creatures in this area had seemed to thin out lately... guess that's 'cause of you?" Zuqetta questioned as she looked around at the piles of bodies before focusing her attention on the masked man, "Heh, surprised they're not also ash."

With her hands in the pockets of her sweater, Zuqetta would casually fall backwards onto a pile of Saibamen; keeping just propped up enough to continue conversation. Her aura exhibited a feeling of disinterest, and yet she continued with her forced curiosity.

"Oh, I'm Zuqetta by the way... you can call me Zuq, or Z, I don't really care... but question..." Zuqetta introduced, before narrowing her gaze suspiciously upon the man, "More like three; who are you? What's with the royal crest on your chest? And..."

Before she could ask her third question, Zuqetta hesitated; there was something about the man that made her uneasy. Besides the fact that she couldn't sense a lick of energy from him, there seemed to be a sinister and familiar feeling about him; a feeling she couldn't quite place, but one she knew she'd broken free from some time ago. Now, as the sinister feeling crept down her spine, she began to wonder if investigating was the right idea.

Sitting up slightly, Zuqetta would draw in her knees and drape her oversized sweater over them. As the man sat down and began speaking, Zuqetta would wrap her arms around her now covered legs and laying her head down while she listened. She couldn't help but smirk as he explained himself, but did well to stay respectful and keep from laughing.

"Yakone the Avenger, eh?" Zuqetta responded in a somewhat droll manner, "Hehe, how fancy; and disrespect to them fancy royals? You got some good tastes~!" She teased before giving a heavy sigh.

She didn't like seeing the royal crest, or anything akin to it; but although she had no intention to strike down the royals, she wasn't about to deter this man from his mission. Simply thinking about the capitol of Sadala, the throne, or anything else to do with Saiyan civilization placed a bad taste in her mouth. She wanted nothing to do with it anymore, and yet here she was, speaking with who she could only assume was a Saiyan and indulging her unnecessary curiosity.

"Heh, glad ta hear it... if you had wanted a fight, I'm sorry ta say I'd have had ta disappoint ya." Zuqetta began with a soft smile, "Eeyup, I'ma Saiyan alright, got myself a tail and everything..." She continued, removing her with from underneath her sweater and allowing it to give a quick wave before once again hiding it away.

"Oh, I guess we're in the same boat by the way; heh, no parents here either, I don't really care though." Zuqetta said with a yawn, "As for why I'm out here?" She continued, pausing briefly to think, "Training... I guess? It's whatever, pretty cool goal YOU have though, reminds me of a friend of mine, heh, he has the same goal." Zuqetta finished, displaying a much kinder smile as she thought of the friend in question.

Though as she remembered her own failures, her smile quickly faded...

"Bleh... don't wanna think about that no more..." Zuqetta stated, bringing her hands up and ruffling up her hair vigorously, "Anyways!" She exclaimed, turning her attention back to Yakone, "Nice ta meetcha Yakone; so, is that what all the Saiba murder here is all about? Avenging and tryin' ta rid the world of evil??" She asked as she removed her legs from her sweater and stretched them out before her.

"Hmm, yummy, plant monsters..." Zuqetta said sarcastically with a smile, "Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass this time around." She declined as she gave a stretch of her arms and legs before standing back up.

Yakone then began to go on about sacrifice, something that struck a cord with her. It was clear that he had a much stronger emotion for his parents than she had with hers. She never knew her mother, and her father meant nothing to her. She never believed she had anything like a hole in her heart; yet unconsciously tried to establish familial bonds with person after person, thinking of particular people as brothers or sisters. It was a feeling that was beginning to make her heart sink, and one she quickly pushed away from.

Luckily, Yakone was quick to change the topic whether he intended to do so or not. What he had switched to however, began to weigh on Zuqetta in an entirely different way...

"War?" She questioned, "Heh, with who? The Saibamen?" She said in a jest, "Saiyans, Tuffles, Arcosians, Humans, Demons... feh, it's all whatever!" She began in a hostile tone, "War... how pointless, I don't even... just... UGH!!"

Zuqetta would kick at the ground in an aggravated manner before placing her hands back in her pockets and shooting Yakone a loathsome glare. She didn't believe the man meant any harm, but the topic he'd brought up had struck the absolute worst cord with her. Whether than Saiyan/Tuffle war had been what he was referencing or not; that was what she was reminded of, and that was what she had been trying to escape from.

"Thanks, but no thanks, I don't WANT the responsibility." Zuqetta remarked as she tapped off from the ground and gradually began to hover into the air, "Go fight your war on your own, I want no part of it." She declared, "But hey, good luck with all that 'regicide' or whatever!" She continued somewhat sarcastically, "Oh, but just a heads up! Last I checked, the current so called 'Leader' is some demon that calls 'emself a Saiyan sooooooo... yeah, they might not be the Saiyan Royalty you're lookin' for!" She finished, giving what little knowledge she had of the Saiyan situation to assist the man.

"Anyways, see ya around... I guess."

With that, Zuqetta had had enough conversation for one day. Though the encounter was short, she had no intention of riling herself up further. She would take off into the sky like a bullet, and disappear over the horizon; once more taking to her self imposed isolation for the time. Whether she would meet this man again or not was anyone's guess, the only certainty was that she would likely begin to encounter people more and more whether she wanted to or not...
