The touch had Iyre tensing up even further. She wasn't sure what to expect, there, but she also didn't want to provoke the woman by reacting too negatively. The easing of pain was, interesting. Her tongue slipped out over her lips as her brow furrowed, and she tried to get used to the feeling of the power without the accompanying discomfort.
"This, isn't too hard." She said, slowly, "I've had this form for a while. I think about... six years. Give or take." Ah, that poor, foolish Konatsian warrior who had first brought it out of her. There was definitely some irony to the fact that Phakk seemed so distraught at the idea of people getting hurt; hurting others was the point, wasn't it?
"This, though."
And now green lightning sparked around her body, and she went even further beyond.
Muscles strained and bones cracked with the next stage of power. It was a good thing that mercenary uniforms like hers were designed to accomodate such dramatic changes in form. Her nostrils flared with the effort of it, but with Phakk's healing magic coursing through her, it was significantly easier than it normally was.
Her voice was much deeper when she spoke, now well over ten feet of teal muscle, wreathed in green electricity.
"This is more challenging. This is when I go past, normal, and start pushin' harder."
Sweat drenched her body now, and it was obvious that THIS was definitely not a state she could keep up forever. Just the strain of maintaining a conversation was hard enough. With her blood thundering in her ears and her full power drawn into the world, every instinct she had told her to try and smash this disturbing presence in front of her.
But she hadn't been lying when she'd said she was the one in control. As much as her fury wanted her to attack, she would not give in to it. The volcano churned and rumbled beneath their feet as she looked, hard, into Phakk's eyes.
"This is why you got to learn it." She said, with a surprising amount of earnestness. "Power demands we use it. S'what it's there for. If you don't put a harness on yours, it'll put a harness on you. That's how these things go."
But. She was just smart enough to know that such a statement was more than a little absurd; she didn't know this person, or the struggles they faced. That big mouth of hers split into a wide grin. "But funny enough, I have been thinkin' about getting an axe. Something real big and heavy. Feel like I could make good use of that. What's a cosplay?"
