"Now THIS is more like it!"
Namek is a peaceful world compared to most in the galaxy. Even its conflicts were smaller, more sedate affairs compared to the raucus and often barbaric battles that Iyre is used to. Compared to the constant, churning violence of Hera this place was practically asleep! And whilst she was starting to suspect that there might be something to all that peace, the woman was still happy to find that there was at least one place where there was impressive-seeming wildlife.
Iyre had seen forests before, but she hadn't seen one that was so lush and so very full of life. She could absolutely believe that there was something to the idea that some great and powerful Guru had deliberately made this place. Enormous trees stretched to the sky with their full blue leaves, and she could feel the immense amount of life spread throughout the place. It sang to her in ways that she had not heard before.
And naturally, she responded the way her own nature demanded.
She opened her senses to find the strongest animal she could amongst the wilderness, and she tore a bright green path across the sky as she rocketed towards it like a vengeful meteor.
The creature itself was huge; dwarfing even her immense frame. Perhaps fifty feet tall, quadrapedal, with a mouth that could swallow her whole and eyes that seemed to take up the whole sky. It lumbered through the forest at a sedate pace, absently crushing trees and churning the earth with every step.
Within the ecology here, this Great Beast served a vital purpose; clearing away weaker trees, churning the earth and bringing the foliage down to the ground for all manner of scurrying animals to feast upon. It was a beautiful example of the wonder and strangeness of this distant alien land.
And then Iyre punched it, square in the jaw.
The enormous creature wailed as its entire bulk rocked, teetered, and then finally crashed into the ground with a devastating KRA-BOOM. The entire forest shook with the felling of the ancient animal, which feebly kicked its legs in the air in a fruitless effort to right itself. It wasn't dead, but it clearly wasn't designed to fall in this position, and its distress filled the air with a cacophony of helpless screams; bestial panic reverberating through the world.
"WA-HA-HA-HA-HA!" Iyre bellowed, hands on her hips, as she looked down at her handiwork with a big grin across her features, "Blimey! I'm gonna have a tough time making YOU into a trophy, fella! Maybe I'll have to figure how to carve your bones into a throne or something, wouldn't THAT be grand!"
