Stepping Foot in the Capital

Although his body had healed and strength had mostly returned, Ollo never stopped his training, doing his best to become stronger should any danger fall on the planet once again. As such, he continued his basic routine of jogging out in the vast fields outside the confines of the capitals every morning, his typical thoughts of the war and his father still on his head. He still wished to find him, although he still found it difficult to stray too far away from the capital, the thoughts of that fated day keeping him locked within the confines of the city. How ironic was it that the place that caused him the most pain would also be his prison. The healers were helping him the best they could, but no amount of magic they currently had could free him.

Ignoring the typical eyes he had drawn as he made his way towards the outskirts of the city, Ollo continued forward, humming a quiet tune to keep him distracted. As he neared the entrance, there were plenty more stares, although Ollo only paid attention the guards, exchanging curt nods as he made his way towards the fields as he did every morning. There were plenty of new namekians making their way into the city, although seeing has he recognized none of them, he continued on with his training, not particularly expecting anything different to happen on this day.

The Saiyan from Earth had gotten to experience quite the adventure since coming to the planet Namek. And it was an exciting one, to be sure. Kombu got the opportunity to fight an opponent much more powerful than himself when a costumed stranger had attacked villagers. In addition, he had met another of his kind; a woman known as the Gladiator. But alas, he still could not locate or get in touch with his Master, Tiamat the Shinjin.

Kombu decided to visit the Capitol today. He had been staying in a nearby village thanks to the gratitude of the people he saved upon his arrival. But from time to time, he would go to explore the large settlement to enjoy the sights. Though he had to admit, he wished that he could get some decent food. The fact that the entire Namekian species only required water for nutrients didn't help the hungry Saiyan one bit. Kombu could only purely live off of vegetables for so long! Hopefully, soon, he would manage to find enough money to buy himself a ship to head back to Earth.

Alas, his old Space Pod wasn't up to the task of surviving its initial landing on the green world. Its crash had forced it to become inoperable. So unless Kombu could track down his Master, he would be stuck on this planet for the foreseeable future.

Kombu had no complaints, however. On top of getting the chance to meet some interesting people, his innate abilities had grown more potent, to boot! Much more powerful than he had acquired with training on Earth, at the very least. Maybe staying for a while longer wasn't going to be the end of the world.

The Saiyan noticed a group of individuals who had gathered together just outside of the Capitol entrance. Two Namekians, a humanoid with multiple sets of arms, and two beings whose species he did not recognize. Both sported light lavender-blue skin and flowing silver hair. Their garbs seemed otherworldly, too. At least, nothing he had seen any of the Namekians wear. That, and the fact that the two beings looked nothing like Namekians at all! At least one seemed friendly enough as they had helped to heal a hurt Namekian child!

Curiosity had tightened its grip now around Kombu's psyche. He had to approach the group and introduce himself! Sporting a smile, Kombu walked on over to the four individuals. He was currently wearing Namekian clothing gifted to him by one of the Elders in the village not far from the Capitol.

"Hello," Kombu said, offering a light wave. "It's a lovely day, isn't it?"

The curious Saiyan attempted to get a reading on each person's strength. But, alas, three of the four seemed to be completely invisible! Was it some sort of Ki suppressing technique? No, Kombu thought, this felt different. He could see them with his own eyes, but they were also not there at all, energy-wise. One Namekian, at least, seemed to have a low Power Level. But he might have been hiding his actual power just like the Saiyan was.

As Tabor was busy greeting Ollo and before he could respond to his friend, his focus quickly shifts to another nearby namekian, one which possessed a strange looking bead on a headband that almost looked like an eye to him. He was just standing there looking at both him and the biodroid next to him, the warrior wondering why this brother seems so dumbfounded at the moment. "Is something wrong, brother?" Tabor pipes up, wondering if there was something amiss about either him or the one he was speaking to just a bit earlier. Ollo pipes up and asks whether he knows this namekian in particular, to which the warrior replies, "Surprisingly, no, I have yet to meet this one in particular."

Before Tabor can even ask for a name, two more strangers approach the rapidly growing group, neither of which appear to be namekians in the slightest, more closely resembling a shinjin. He's only met a few of them before, and usually it's only been brief. They claim that they're travelers, and they're more than likely curious about Namek's beauty. Tabor holds his hand up a bit and replies, "Oh no, do not believe that you are intruding on us, strangers. I've been meeting some new faces already, so you're more than welcome to join this rapidly growing circle."

Again before he could even get the chance to ask any of these strangers their names, yet another newcomer arrives, this one appearing to be a saiyan given the tail he possesses. He's met quite a few saiyans on one of his earlier trips to Plant, some a bit more aggressive than others, so perhaps he should be glad that this one's first thought isn't to immediately challenge anyone to a fight. "That it is, stranger," Tabor replies to the saiyan's comment, "Good weather, a little reunion with a friend, and meeting plenty of new faces sure does add quite a bit of spice to my day. Is this your first time here on Namek, saiyan?"

"Ah, I believe some more proper introductions are in order before anything else," Tabor stops himself, "As my friend said earlier, this is Ollo, and I myself am Tabor of the Warrior Clan. Pleasure to meet everyone here."

Kowlin and Quinn were greeted politely and they had expected this due to already having met a namekian before in otherworld. As much knowledge as they gained from him, all they have learned from that namekian was that there were three clans and that one of them was particularly evil. Kowlin also had spotted his enemy Kombu, and he stared at him with a slight smile. Idly now looking over the human looking, namekian looking, creature.. If Kowlin was being honest with himself internally. He had never seen a being quite like this one before with the parts from other beings. Was this individual an arm limb stealer? or were they simply born like that? Kowlin didn't want to make the situation awkward if the being stared back at him, so he idly shifted his eyes elsewhere.

In order to make his presence more friendlier than he had just done, he began to poof up a rather, large table in front of him and started to poof up chairs for all sizes big and small to accommodate everyone. Then came the spawning of a hot teal kettle, along with cups to everyone who was currently here. Kowlin was the first to sit down, then Quinn. As they each poured themselves a hot beverage of tea and consuming it. They would not only show that the tea was safe to drink, indirectly of course and not outright saying. "hey its not poison." but instead showing it instead. Kowlin looked to the others and smiled.

"Perhaps we all can talk over tea. This tea is considered to be one of the best teas from where I am from. Its a delicacy. You won't regret tasting it I promise."

He showed a warm smile, as Quinn had chipped in.

"My brother over here just loves his tea. But I must agree with him, the tea is really good."

If Tabor didn't know what that namekian was, why was he acting like that? Ollo's head inadvertently began to tilt in confusion, watching the sight quietly as he tried to figure out what was so interesting about Tabor that drew the newcomer to him. After addressing him verbally, the new namekian finally introduced himself as Sho, one of the dragon clan. That immediately caught his attention, seeing as Ollo didn't have much interaction with that clan aside from the healers that helped with his wounds after the fight. Even then, it was difficult to get the dragon clan out of his mind, especially when that was what Shakuhachi was a part of. 

Well, he was probably a bad crop out of the field of thousands and Ollo was not one to judge based off of one person. However, the moment this processed this, he soon realized that his body had stiffened upon hearing this and did his best to relax despite the natural action taken. Nervously, he did his best to at least seem normal, swishing his tail behind him and wringing his hands as Tabor introduced him to the group. He extended his hands, the only way he knew how to greet foreigners. It was fortunate he had enough for everyone within this group. 

As the introductions gone around, he soon learned what the stranged tailed figure was: a saiyan. "You aren't a tuffle? I thought that people that look like you are called tuffles?" He asked curiously. Was that why he had that strange looking tail? It was unlike anything he had even seen, and Ollo had a tail himself. However, his planet of origin was also what caught his attention. "I think I heard of an Ear thee before. I got a friend that says they have the most yummy pancakes although, I dunno what that is really or what yummy even means." He said, slightly pouting.

The two aliens that came up to them appeared to respond to them well enough, even summoning a kettle out of thin air. With the sudden appearance of the equipment, Ollo couldn't help but take a few steps back. "Where did you get that?" He exclaimed, looking at the kettle and cups completely flabbergasted. He took a few steps forward, looking at this foreign technology and even poking at it. It was made with the same material as the shell that Acous wore back then, and hot to the touch when he poked it. "I never tried tea before. What is that?" He asked, poking at the cups and the liquid inside once again despite the fact that it was burning his fingers. He just couldn't even believe all of this was real. 

At Kombu's questioning of food, Ollo pointed into the heart of the capitol. "I think they have food in the big buildings there somewhere, but we don't really eat. We mostly have it for people aren't from here. Plus, it's mostly stuff like vegetables which I don't really like myself." He said, offering his suggestion. Perhaps the tea would be enough for now though, seeing as it was all in front of him. For now though, he looked at the strange tinted water, shooting a look at Tabor for guidance for what to do.
